Greetings all, so I bought a large boba milk tea and paid over $6. I thought it was a bit overpriced. But to be fair, I did leave a $1 tip, because when you pay, the machine ask you to enter a tip amount, even when you purchase something to go, & you are not even being served at a table. I think that this is a business trend (for many businesses) that needs to end YESTERDAY. Everyone there was young and friendly enough, but I do have 2 gripes. 1. The cashier seems ultra engaged with her friends in line ahead of me, & took longer than necessary taking their order, sure have fun at work, but please be professional, & 2, this young lady was wiping down/ cleaning the pay counter, and actually hit my arm, because her head was down. I wasn't even leaning on, or touching the counter I was just standing close, looking at the menu. I'm sure it was caught on camera somewhere, last night. I will probably not return (unless they contact me, with a XL Boba Thai tea apology:) lol because there are plenty of great, & less expensive options in the area. I know that working in a restaurant is tough, I have done it, but be professional, & hang in there, & to the owner, it would be nice to remove that mandatory tip "option" on To-Go orders if possible. read more

This is another branch of what is becoming a large chain of boba shops. Their drinks are dependable from shop to shop and there are a lot of creative options. They do have the macrons and cake slices in this shop, and while tasty, are priced quite high, even with today's inflation. We've been to this IBT on three occasions and each time the person working the counter was very bland........not rude, but not welcoming either. The staff simply doesn't seem to want to be there (which isn't good, especially for a new shop). read more

This is my favorite boba chain and I can't tell you how happy I was when this location opened in my neighborhood! I always use the mobile app to order my regular: Peach Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly and they make it perfectly! Everyone who works here is super friendly and my order is always ready on time. I come here all the time. I love boba and this is one of my go to places. The boba has the perfect consistency, not too hard not too soft. The service is amazing (at least every time I go). The employees are very nice and since I go often I recognize them. (They don't recognize me though so I'm not being biased). They do everything perfect each time. I get a tiger sugar milk which is exactly what it sounds like. Sugar, milk and boba (which you can remove or get something else like cheese foam). For me personally the regular is a good size and I finish it every time. I also ask for no ice which is the trick because if you get ice but want to enjoy your drink for a while the ice will melt and water down your drink. They never roll their eyes or scoff when my friend asks for specific things like 75% sweetness. Also if you have social anxiety or don't feel like talking to anyone there is a self order. Once you get your receipt they call the number at the top of your receipt. Numbers are random so you won't always be first. They have a bathroom which is clean and nice decorations. They also play music and keep the temperature at a reasonable degree. During holidays they change their lids to match the holiday. I think this is an amazing spot and you should stop by. read more

I've been to a different location for their strawberry matcha with oat milk, and it tastes consistent with this one. I also appreciate that they do not skimp out on the boba. When I heard that we'd finally be getting a It's Boba Time in Pasadena I was super hyped. Years ago if I was craving some Boba while working in Burbank and Glendale there were always one to go to or while heading home to Pasadena. And even when they opened one in the Santa Anita Mall, we were basically surrounded by them but never one in our own city. So finally having one like 5 minutes away down the street is great. I mean don't get me wrong there are a lot of great options throughout Pasadena, and not saying that Boba Time is like my favorite, but it's always been a consistent option that always had a massive menu with many different options that are usually solid. It's located on the corner of Allen, with a parking lot in the back on Allen. Also you definitely can find street parking on Allen or nearby if the lots full. Not the biggest inside but most of their locations are relatively small, in comparison to few of their other locations it's a good size spot. I've been there a few times and I would say that the first 2 times I went the actual boba wasn't necessarily the best. Not as soft as I'd gotten used to their boba being, but the most recent time this past week was much better. So maybe they are getting their feet under them since it's a new location. Either way glad to have a Boba spot like them close by and definitely feel like my Boba consumption will increase. read more

We were very dissatisfied with the quality of the Boba drinks. Today I ordered a mango smoothie with almond milk. Tasted good, except it was watery and had chunks of ice. Not really a smoothie. Stopped by yesterday after taking my son (15yrs old) to Odyssey Games. As we walked in, we were greeted with the reek of weed. Even my son told me if I knew what that smell was. Moved into the area about 6 months ago, and I keep coming to this boba place. Always clean, friendly employees. It's also super fast and easy to order ahead of time with the app and just pick up my order. Honestly their top 20 are all good but my fave drink is the Thai tea float. Been several times on the way to Huntington Gardens. Delicious teas, smoothies, and bowls. We have had very friendly service in the past, but they definitely didn't have their A team on today. Solid newcomer on what's shaping up to be the PCC boba corridor. In the old Federico's bakery spot. We've been twice so far. Boba itself has been cooked well--maybe a tiny bit soft. Drinks lean very sweet. House milk tea and jasmine milk tea were solid and the Galaxy iced tea--kind of like a tropical punch--was super sweet but did look cool. The chrysanthemum and citron (half sweet) was different and refreshing. There are tables and chairs inside but it feels a little exposed somehow--not like a cozy place for studying or chatting with friends. The closing staff is great aside from a specific short white female who closes, she always seems to be so upset to have interact with customers and I've noticed serval rude and awkward interactions over the few times I've gone.
