Beware!!!! Its laughable the name of this company…read more Before booking I told them I needed an adjustable base bed moved from upstairs and that it was very heavy. He said no problem, they do this all the time. He said he would bring a 3rd guy just in case. He stated they bring all the blankets/supplies for protection. I booked them. He has you Zelle his wife Christina. They were supposed to show up at 7:30 but didnt arrive until 8. He did communicate he was running late but blamed it on U-Haul. He showed up, was very nice and talkative. There was only him (Abe) and another guy. I asked where the third guy was and he said that there was no need that they could do it. They then took the mattress and had no cover for it so I had to find some plastic to use. Had he not said he had everything I would have made sure I had a proper mattress cover. Then they started moving the adjustable base. They damaged my floors and ceiling all the way down the stairs. The top of the stairs is completely dented in and the subsequent stairs are chipped beyond repair. He apologized profusely and kept saying "don't worry, I've got you, I'll get this fixed." He was extremely kind the whole time, he kept apologizing and kept promising how he was going to get it fixed. At the end, I ended up paying the entire fee with trust that he would come through on his word, his name is indeed Honest Abe. It all started out just fine, he messaged me the next day that he was working on getting someone to come. A date was set up, I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate when he could be here but low and behold he said that he needed to move the time to the next day. That night I found out that it needed to be postponed again. Since then he has not responded to any phone calls or text messages and it's been a couple weeks. This is extremely disappointing. For someone who calls himself honest please take a look at my summary: 1) Didn't show up at time HE set up 2) showed up with one less guy than stated. 3) didn't have the proper supplies as promised 4) Ruined 7 Stair Nose pieces 5) Chipped and dented my ceiling 6) Promised he would fix it. Sadly, Im not the first. There is another review on here that sounds extremely similar. Do not trust "honest abe"!

Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. I was immediately compensated for the issues I had surfaced and am extremely grateful to the Qshark team for doing so. **ORIGINAL** Unfortunately I cannot say I would recommend Qshark. We hired them for a cross country move and were very hopeful for a smooth process given the total cost we were quoted. Prior to the move, I will say the customer service was great. Any question we had was answered promptly and clearly over email, which was very helpful when preparing for the move. On the day of pick up, the movers were punctual, organized, kind and respectful. I have no complaints for the first half of the move. The delivery is where things started to go south. Our movers assured us they would arrive by July 1, however the night before I received a text from Frank that the movers were very delayed and were likely going to miss the delivery date. He let me know the battery had died in the moving truck and therefore they were unable to make the agreed upon delivery date. This was a problem as we had no accommodations for that night, assuming we would've been able to stay in our new home. Frank offered to cover the cost of any hotel expenses we incurred, which was the right thing to do given the circumstances. However, I did have to follow up with him once or twice to complete the reimbursement, which again isn't the type of service I would expect given the premium cost we paid and unique circumstances. When the movers arrived the next day, things looked positive as they were unloading all the furniture. However once they left we realized several items were either missing or damaged. Our bed frame, bar cabinet, shoe cabinet and futon all had either pieces missing or parts that had been dinged. On top of all of that, our TV screen had been damaged in the move. I have since been asking for claim details to get reimbursed for the TV repairs, and have followed up daily with no progress or confirmation that we will be compensated for the damages. Overall while the movers themselves were wonderful, the service of Qshark fell far below expectation and I would not book with them again.

Careful Budget Moving truly impressed me from the quote process through final payment. I had to cancel an already scheduled move at the last minute due to the timing of the closing on my new place. Kane was responsive, professional and prompt throughout the quoting. On the day of the move, my movers showed up at the promised time and went above and beyond with the move. They wrapped up all furniture, framed art, boxed any loose, awkward sized items, took down drapes and rods, disassembled my bed, etc. Once at my new place, they quickly unloaded, reassembled my bed perfectly, found a solution for getting a large dresser up the narrow staircase inside my place, and even brought heavy packages previously dropped off upstairs for my convenience. They were careful and mindful of everything. Pricing was fair, allowing me to tip each mover $50 a piece. They deserved it and the total with tip was still lower than the quote from the movers I had originally booked. These guys are amazing! read more

Best movers I've ever had. They showed up early and really moved quickly to package everything in our 2-bedroom apartment. I've never seen movers go this quickly especially when they're getting paid per hour. We had a screaming infant and they kept their cool and just plowed through everything. Then when we got to our new home, the truck got stuck on the incline and we had to get someone to Jack the truck out. They didn't charge me for the time and even though they had to lug everything up a steep driveway, they never bitched or complained. I call them the Terminator crew. We will definitely go back with them if we ever decide to move again. After that mishap with the truck on the incline, I think it will take awhile for me to want to move. read more

This was my first experience using movers and after the service I got from Egor, Dima and Eric, I'll never go back to moving myself. They were great from the start. They called 30 minutes prior to arrival, they introduced themselves and then hit the ground running with sizing up the job and asking me what needed to be done. When they started it was all business until the job was done. They were also very friendly and easy to talk to. The other great thing about the company is they gave a great price in comparison to some other quotes I received that seemed a little to high. Do not look any further, hire these guys. Excellent service for an unbeatable price! I went with these guys because they had the best price of every company I looked at, but the service I got wasn't "budget" at all. Andres and Javier did a good job moving my furniture 4 miles away. There was no extra change for two bookshelves that did not fit in the elevator and had to be carries by the stairs. Only one table leg was cracked, and I noticed it after they left. I can probably repair it. My one bedroom took 9 hours, and I also had a friend helping. read more

Merit Moving Systems handled our cross-country move on behalf of Mayflower, a National Moving…read moreCompany. The two-bedroom condo move was from LA, California to the East Coast (New Hampshire). Merit gave us the quote with a virtual walkthrough (thanks Robert Borson) and Ellie Soltero, the Relocation Coordinator from Merit Moving Systems, held our hand throughout the process. Mayflower/Merit quote was transparent, very competitive with no hidden charges. They also addressed our many concerns (whether we need to disassemble some furniture - answer is no, they will do it and also re-assemble at the destination, or whether we need to get a city parking permit for the truck to park on a busy street - again no, Robert knew the area and Merit took care of it as needed). The move itself went smoothly. Carlos and crew loaded furniture and boxes from a two-bedroom condo in LA. They were efficient and very careful with the flooring by laying runners along the floor and stairs. After nine days of cross-county trip (dropping off in other locations along the way), the truck arrived to deliver the goods. The crew weren't as careful with the house (not enough protection for the flooring and the carpets like Carlos) and may have damaged some areas of the hardwood floor (hence one less star). But they were still efficient and good in placing the furniture and the boxes where they needed to be. Nothing was broken and we are happy with Merit Moving Systems and Mayflower. We hope we don't have to do another cross-country move again soon (or ever) but if we need to, we will call Merit Moving Systems/Mayflower again. Finally, Ellie was responsive to our questions and followed up at key stages. She personally provided great service. Thank you, Ellie.
