They have a great variety of toppings, both standard and more unique to the traditional poke place, my favorites being their pickled radish and sprouts. I love their sweet citrus and garlic soy sauces. Service here I have never had an issue with. If you sign up for their app they give you a good amount of rewards, often times you can get a free avocado topping after stopping by here twice. On a poke hunt, we stumbled upon this new spot, Ahi Poki, and decided to give it a try. The girl who served us was nice, but unfortunately, she didn't seem very knowledgeable when it came to answering some of my basic questions, which was a bit disappointing for a new establishment. Now, onto the food: the fish quality is good, no complaints there. However, the ratio of fish to the other condiments is way off. The single baby scoop of fish they give must weigh no more than 2 ounces--if that. I don't know about you, but when I go out for poke, I'm there for the fish, not to be buried under a mountain of carbs and veggies. While I get that businesses need to make a profit, skimping on the main protein is a quick way to lose repeat customers. It's frustrating to leave feeling like the bowl didn't live up to its promise. The portion was small. Lots of rice and not enough fresh topping ingredients. Also got a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Again, it must have been the same batch of rice because it was clumpy. The amount of rice to protein and toppings was 2:1. The chicken was just average. They give you a side of sesame oil, so don't mistaken that for teriyaki sauce like I did. The spam musubi was dry. The spam was dry and the seaweed was limp. Again, lots of rice. Overall, if you love wet rice, this is the place. Next time, I rather drive to Pasadena for Poke Salad Bar. I only eat poke here because the portions are actually worth their price compared to other poke places. You have to try the spicy creamy sauce and house sauce. I've been to plenty of other poke places that were overpriced and didn't have that much variety. This place is so good! If you look at the picture I posted, I'm took this picture as I was driving because I just knew I had to write a review! The food not only looks amazing, its quality is extremely decent for the price, and the other sides like vegetables and ginger are all super fresh! Imagine all of this for just over $11! Service was fast and typical with any other poki restaurant. You stand in an assembly line, like at chipotle, and you don't really have a waiter. But they're still nice and friendly, happy to be there. The place is quaint and located next to a chipotle and ono hawaiian bbq, but you should have no problem finding parking for this place as it's located in a rather large plaza. More like a 3.5 I've been going to this place since I was in high school. And can confirm that the quality has declined while the price has drastically inclined. I came in and service was interesting. I thought the servers were a bit rude and rushed. I ordered two bowls at the same time and got kinda confused as they were back and forth between me and other orders. I definitely appreciated that they were able to fulfill my request of sauce on the side. I could tell they were rushing me and were trying to help the next person.
