Bearology is a boba, smoothie and tea shop in Temple City, located in a large plaza on Las Tunas ave and Rosemead blvd. This shop has anime themed tea that serves snacks, bear dessert mouse cakes, noodles and sandwiches. Interior is very captivating with anime decor and layout. Staff were cordial. I came to visit and tried their Watermelon green tea and Brown bear mouse cake. The drink was very disappointing. Because they forgot the boba and it's too water downed, small 12 oz cup, and it took them 18 minutes to make. However, the tiny bear cake was adorable and delightful. Atmosphere is relaxing and vibing with anime. Prices are quite expensive. Overall, it's a nice boba tea shop with anime design.
Shop has fun manga decoration. This place is a bit hard to find if you look at eye level because of its mysterious entrance which is marked solely by a poster. Despite the fun atmosphere, the drinks and snacks are a bit pricy but you're paying for packaging and other bells and whistles. I went in for a sampling of the drinks and they were a bit too sweet and syrupy tasting to me.
A tea shop that's pretty hidden in a corner of a super busy plaza in Temple City. Plenty of free parking spots but don't underestimate the amount of parking as it's busy daily. First impressions is that the interior is pretty sizeable. I visited during a Demon Slayer collaboration and the interior lighting is a bit bright and not the greatest on the eyes if you're around for awhile. The lighting is very much like a medieval tavern color wise, orange if not lantern orange. The spot seems like a decent place for a hangout with a group of friends, plenty of tables all in a line and there's a infinity room in the back (not sure if it's just for the current collab but it's pretty cool regardless.) Staff is friendly and seem pretty quick. My partner got me one of their matcha lattes and it was average at best in my opinion. Some sips had plenty of matcha flavoring but some were a bit tasteless. Overall, not impressed but if you're visiting for the Demon Slayer collaboration, it would be pretty nice to see it. Drinks wise is a bit disappointing but I'm sure their other drinks options are better.

The entire cafe is reimagined with custom decor, activations, and a special themed food and beverage menu. The Infinity Castle room is kind of cool, but it is an extremely small room that fits no more than a few people. The photo opportunities here are quite minimal. They do sell a lot of merch though for anyone interested. As for the food and beverage, none of the themed menu items really caught my eye. I ended up trying a few drinks from the regular menu. All of the drinks tasted pretty watered down. I would not order them again. Vibes are super casual. Order at the register and seat yourself. There is an ample amount of booth seating in the cafe. Each table looks like it can fit up to 4 people. This place doesn't seem fit for groups of more than 4.
What a wonderful experience at the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle themed dinner at Bearology! I came with my family and my friends with their kids and was impressed by how thoughtfully every detail was crafted. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a different world. The space is small and beautifully decorated, with only a handful of booths available. After experiencing it firsthand, I completely understand why reservations are required. The intimate setting allows the staff to create a truly immersive experience, and every aspect was carefully designed to fit the Demon Slayer theme. We ordered the tower, which included chicken sliders, homestyle kettle chips, tempura shrimp, and ramen. Everything was presented beautifully and fit perfectly with the theme. To finish the evening, we enjoyed the mochi ice cream balls and the adorable Bearology cakes, which were almost too cute to eat. Even the drinks were served in themed cups, adding another fun touch to the experience. Despite being busy throughout the night, the servers remained friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Their hard work helped make the event run smoothly and added to the overall experience. Bearology truly went above and beyond with this themed dinner. The attention to detail, immersive atmosphere, themed food and drinks, and excellent service made for a memorable night. If you're a Demon Slayer fan, this is an experience you won't want to miss!
A friend of mine went here and I seen her pictures and I knew I had to take my youngest since she's such an anime fan. We surprised her with this and it was so adorable how exited she was to turn and see the Demon Slayer sign! She eats, sleeps and eats Demon Slayer so this was such a treat for her. We allowed her the pick whatever she wanted as far as merch and she chose a plushie and a souvenir cup. She also had the mochi ice cream which she said was delicious!
I took my daughter as we are both demon slayer fans and this themed decor will be gone July 31st. Had the food been better I would've given 5 stars but it was a money grab as taste did not match what you pay for. Glad they had an ala carte version as the temple plating was an extra $20. We got here on a weekday so only a few tables. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I liked they were fans.
Boba drinks taste like water and for 7.00 each they're in a tiny cup. Waste of money taste like flavored leeches water if anything
Demon Slayer x Bearology February 9 - July 31, 2026 Even though the cafe was located in a shopping plaza with dedicated parking lot, parking was still challenging. The dining area was fairly small with handful number of tables available. The booth seating was also quite tight and may not comfortably accommodate more than 4 adults. Reservations require a deposit which is applied towards your final bill. As for the food, it was mediocre and not worth it. Most visitors are likely coming for the Demon Slayer themed experience rather than the food itself. The staff were not friendly either so this would be a one and done experience.
I saw influencers on INSTAGRAM hyping up this place so I thought WOW it looked really cool. I also went on YELP to check the ratings and they had pretty good ratings so I thought to myself let's go check it out!... I made a RESERVATION online: $20 per person and that can be credited towards food and drinks... I went inside and I was SURPRISED at how small it was compared to what I saw on Instagram. There were a few photo opportunity inside. Lots of souvenirs for purchase. There wasn't many people inside at around 4pm on a weekday so b I really didn't need to make that RESERVATION... FOOD: 8/10 Sliders were good and it came with some really crunchy chips. However, the food was priced higher than the average. We are talking about DISNEYLAND prices for food. For example, that snack tower and just the tower itself is $90!!! DRINKS: 7/10 The milk tea was not bad but the TARO milk tea was overly sweet...and you have to pay EXTRA for it to come in a MASON JAR!!!! I think it's a great place for teenagers and kids or families. You are paying for the EXPERIENCE!... They didn't even have table service! You have to order at the cashier one and a time. There can possibly be a line when busy. Plus, the train experience wasn't even on when we went. So sad. Maybe we're too old for this. Time to search for delicious foods on Yelp... BARE WITH IT BEAROLOGY!!! So for me, it was a one hit wonder! Thank you, NEXT!

We came on a Saturday and the shared parking lot is big, but we couldn't find any. That situation changes and it can't be controlled, but I think it's good to know that it can get crowded so plan accordingly and give yourself time. They do collabs often so depending on the IP, you might find yourself here joining whatever fandom you belong to. The attention to detail they gave for their photo-ops was wonderful. And on camera, it translates fantastically. It almost seems like the space is huge, but it's actually quite small. Truly, truly instagrammable and photogenic. But wow, the snack option appetizer--with the draw being the tower presentation--was incredibly pricey. It comes out to close to $80 for "just okay" food and meager portions. But again, it was presented in a most epic way. It it was it is. And if you're fan of the IP collab, it could be worth it. But it is expensive.
i came here with some friends before anime expo weekend to check out the demon slayer infinity castle experience, and overall i thought it was a really nice time. it's nothing super over-the-top or extravagant, but they did a great job capturing the ambiance of the film through the decor. i especially loved what they did with the mirrors to mimic the infinity castle effect, it made it feel a bit more immersive. the food was pretty delicious, though a bit overpriced, which was honestly expected for a themed experience like this. i did appreciate that they let you order items a la carte, since the food tower felt a little excessive. they also had gachapon and little trinkets imported from japan (according to the person at the register), which was a cute touch. we also picked up the souvenir cups that were designed after the castle, which i thought were really cool. items we ordered: chicken katsu sliders with chips mochi ice cream spicy seafood ramen hot chicken ramen watermelon limeade blue raspberry pineapple slush making a reservation was super easy, and i liked that the reservation fee goes toward your total. overall, it's a fun and cute experience for any demon slayer fan!
We were next door and wanted to stop by here and grab bobas to go and honestly... it was just okay. It wasn't crowded at all, which was nice, but the space itself is super small. Our drinks, and for the size of the cups, they felt pretty overpriced. But it was actually pretty good! The taro smoothie and watermelon is a must try! The theme is a fun idea for fans, but overall it just didn't live up to the hype for me. Not all that, in my opinion.
My son absolutely loved the Infinity Castle! The ambiance was well done. What made it all the better was the amazing service we received from Adrianna. She was full of enthusiasm and did everything to make my son's birthday perfect. I appreciate that only a few parties can attend at a time, making the experience more intimate. The drinks were really good (hint: you can order from the regular menu not just the specialty menu) and my picky son loved the gyoza and tempura. read more
We wanted to visit this place because of the Demon Slayer theme. Let's start with the PROS. The employees were very friendly. I truly appreciated the great customer service we received, especially these days, where it appears customer service is out the door. The immersive experience was beyond amazing. The decor, ambiance, and photo ops were worth the visit. They had some cool items to purchase that I have not seen available anywhere else. My son was like a kid in a candy store. Let's get to the CONS. The food was not good at all. Not even a little bit. It all tasted like frozen food reheated, the ramen tasted worst than top ramen, out of the foam cup. I ordered the mushroom one, and I did not see or taste any mushrooms. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The drinks were okay, but a very sweet-artificial sweet. The location was tiny, tiny, tiny. The cool items they had available for purchase, were indeed cool, but overpriced. Would I go back again, probably not. But I'm glad we did go this time and got to see the Demon Slayer set up before they took it down and changed to a new theme. read more

I went in with realistic expectations. I wasn't expecting gourmet food--just a fun Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle-themed experience with decent food. Unfortunately, it missed the mark on almost every level. The ramen was essentially microwaved broth with a few pieces of Spam and a little shredded cheese. It looked and tasted like something thrown together in minutes. Ironically, the wait for the food was very long, almost as if they were trying to make it seem freshly prepared. The "Infinity Castle" theme was also disappointing. The advertising makes it look immersive, but in reality there was very little decoration. It honestly felt like someone put up a couple of Demon Slayer posters and called it themed. It lacked the atmosphere fans would expect. The boba drinks were another letdown--expensive and almost flavorless. Overall, this place feels like it's capitalizing on the Demon Slayer name without delivering the experience it promises. If you're a fan expecting an immersive Infinity Castle restaurant, you'll likely leave disappointed. It came across more as a marketing gimmick than a genuine themed dining experience. Came in for the Demon Slayer pop up. Was seated 10 mins after reservation time. Was warned when we sat that we would be sharing our small table. I was unsure of what would be less awkward: sitting side by side with a stranger or sitting right across from a stranger. You order/pay at the counter. Placed order at 8:15 and got order at 8:50. Our order took so long that 2 different groups sat at our table. Paid $40 for instant ramen + 1 drink in a souvenir cup. The aesthetic itself is cool, and there's a few photo ops. Merch was neat too. The reservation and seating process just sucked, plus the food took much longer than we expected. Overall, it was just an "ok" experience. I commuted from Whittier and didn't find it worth it. read more

I had a pleasure checking out Bearology during their pop up for Demon slayer. And it was an absolute vibe. I myself an old Demon slayer fan however I know a super fan so I ended up taking him for his birthday and it was so fun, and immersive experience. I'm more familiar with Bearologys other locations that have hookah and just Boba so I knew that no matter what was going on inside, it was going to be a good vibe regardless. We ended up ordering the entire snack, tower, Ramen, and a bunch of drinks. I will say that everything in total ended up being on the pricey side. The food and the drinks were honestly mid but again you're paying for the experience so if you're OK with that, then you'll be OK with the drinks and the food being mediocre. I personally wasn't a fan of either one of the future drinks and the food came out cold. Can't wait to see what else Bearology has in store pop-up wise for them! read more

A cute lil anime themed rotational pop up boba spot. I came here this time for the demon slayer collaboration. The interior and even exterior doorway was built to be like the infinity castle. The drinks were also better than the arcane ones, with my favorite being the lychee apricot tea. Yes it's on the very sweet side, but I cracked open a can of sprite with it. Mixed together it was an incredible drink. I got both the mugen train and infinitu castle cups from two drink orders. I liked the design of the cup with the nichirin sword showing the drink + katana hilt drink topper. Overall, fun experience for anime fan. Definitely a nice visit while its still available. read more

I saw this demon slayer themed Boba shop on instagram and was intrigued it, I decided to visit it. I was asked at the door if I have a reservation to get a table, if I don't have a reservation, I can only order takeout. The whole Demon Slayer Infinity Castle theme was interesting. The place is pretty small but the way they decorated with mirrors make it look big. I asked how long they'll have this them up and was told the infinity castle theme will be up until July 31. Came here to get a watermelon slush because I wanted something refreshing during this heat wave. There is a Demon Slayer pop-up occurring now until July 31, 2026, which draws a huge crowd so there is actually a line to get inside if you are trying to dine in. They have an online reservation system but it is $10 per person pre-paid. I did stand-by for take out and it was about a 15 minute wait outside. It took another 15 minutes to get my drink after placing my order inside. I got a watermelon slush. It seemed promising because of the red color, but the flavor and texture fell flat. The slushy was chunky ice and needed to be blended longer. It was unpleasant trying to sip on thick ice chips; even shave ice or a raspado would have a better texture. The watermelon played a minor role, and the only pro of this drink is that it was not sweet. There's a mirror installation that creates an infinity-like illusion, located at the back of the store next to the bathroom. This is very small, standing room only so do not expect an actual experience you can walk through. Drove up from SD to experience the Demon Slayer pop up for my daughter. Honestly the food was just meh. I feel like you pay for the experience more than the food. We ordered the following: -3 ramens. My son mentioned this is a scam because the picture had 3 slices of Spam, but he only received a few cubes of Spam. -The slushes had to be in expensive tumblers. That's fine, they were delicious. -The Tower was way over priced. $68 for the amount of food was wild. Two of the sliders didn't even have the top buns. I chalk it up to the experience. -The Raspberry cheese cake bear was good, but dismembering the bear was traumatic lol The servers were generally friendly. Our food did take a long time to receive. I'll give them a pass again because all the reservations came in as they opened. The ambience is of course why you go here. They go all out with the Demon Slayer theme. My daughter really had a good time. Overall, come here for the Dragon Slayer theme. Leave knowing you did it for your kids core memory, and not your good financial decisions. read more

I just finished Demon Slayer earlier this year, so I was so psyched to visit this pop-up. Five stars for the set design alone! The details for the infinity castle were top-notch from the upper level demons on each stall to the lanterns/staircases on the wall to simulate the movement of the infinity castle. My partner got the Infinity Castle tumbler and I snagged the Mugen train one (though the Infinity castle tumbler stole the show). Fair warning: the drinks are on the sweeter end. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of a wait even with a reservation, but the staff was amazing. It's tough managing a pop-up. Super fun experience for fans! read more
Finally checked out the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle pop-up at Bearology in Temple City! Since dine-in reservations were booked up, we decided to walk in and order to-go instead. It's the perfect hack because they still let us wander around to explore the incredible photo ops and exclusive merch while our drinks were being made. Don't miss the back of the pop-up, that's where the Infinity Castle photo op is and they have a video game station set up where you can play for free! There's a specialty themed menu, but you can also order from their normal menu. They also have a ton of exclusive merch for sale. read more

Reservations required when booking a table here for the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Pop-Up. It's $10 per person and they deduct the fee you pay up front from your final bill. This location is in a small shopping center next to Daiso, Sanrio Store, and a couple other eateries with plenty of parking. When we first arrived, I immediately walked in, only to be stopped by the host who told me that we had to check in outside and that there was a sign. I went to double check outside to see if I missed something, but didn't see a sign that said we had to check in first. Anyway, after we checked in, I got a full glimpse of the decor. The decor was incredible! Everything was based from Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle and if you're a die hard fan, you'd love it. They had a small menu for the popup. Which consisted of themed drinks, instant noodles w/ your choice of toppings and a castle filled with appetizers and desserts. I ordered the roasted beef noodles with all the toppings ($9), a lychee tea in a souvenir cup ($20), and their highlight: The Infinity Castle Tower ($68). In my opinion, the broth for the noodles was BEYOND salty for me and it didn't help when I ordered it with extra spam since they were out of corn. The lychee tea was too sweet so I couldn't drink all of it. My bf and son enjoyed their noodles and drinks, so maybe it just wasn't for me. The only issue we had was that our Infinity Castle tower took forever to be served. It felt like it took an hour! Our tummies were already full by the time they served it us and we were ready to leave. But don't get me wrong, the tower was really cool. It came with gyozas, katsu sliders, tempura, and mochi. Overall, the food was ok. We ended up taking most of it home since we were already full. Cool experience, a couple photo opts, and incredible decor. They didn't miss when it came to detail. The only downside is the lychee drink, ok service and salty noodles. The noodles were not sodium friendly at all lol. read more
If you are a Demon Slayer fan, the Infinity Castle is a must. Get your cosplay ready, and reserve a spot on their website. Even if the reservations are for an hour, there might still be a wait. If you want to sit at the table and order food like the 3 course meal on the snack tower, plan to be there for 2 hours. We were in a rush so we asked to skip on the table, just got our drinks using our credit and took tons of photos and videos in their small but beautifully decorated space. The souvenir cups come in either Mugen Train or Infinity Castle. You can get drinks themed after the three uppers from the movie. All my kids wanted the slush, so they all got Doma (blue raspberry pineapple slush). It costs $20 a drink (drink+souvenir cup to keep). I tries the drink and it tastes good. You can also get a huge instant ramen bowl for $9, a three course meal with sliders, fries, tempura, gyoza, and mochi ice cream for $68. If you want to keep the beautiful snack tower it's presented on, it costs $90. read more

Best katsu sandwich I ever had and chips. Thanks chef Nathan. This was such a fun experience to come with friends who are fans as well. I'll be back next time to win my kyojuro rengoku figurine. My friend and I planned to meet up here since I was in the area. She chose the location, and I agreed since it was convenient for me. The place was nice, I loved the atmosphere, full of colorful decorations. It was very comfortable place for us to meet and chat. However, it was hard to access the menu because I had to scan a QR code, which was super laggy. It took a long time to load, which was disappointing why make it so difficult? Lol. Absolutely AMAZING experience at Bearology for the Infinity Castle Demon Slayer event! This was my second Demon Slayer experience here and I will 100% be back again. Every detail was so immersive. The lighting, mirrors, decor, music, character displays, and themed tables made it feel like you stepped right into the Infinity Castle itself. The food was also surprisingly delicious. The little cheesecake pandas were adorable and おいしかった! The mochi was some of the best I've ever had, and the tonkatsu sliders were juicy with a nice crispy coleslaw. The gyoza and tempura vegetables were super flavorful and fresh too. Everything felt thoughtfully themed while still being genuinely yummy. The gacha machines were so fun, and the whole plaza has lots of cool things to do if you're an anime nerd like me. If you love Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Demon Slayer in general, you definitely need to check this out before it's gone. Such a creative, fun, and immersive experience! make sure you make a reservation! In a busy area amongst many other tea spots, Bearology sets itself apart with cute merchandise and collaborations! I got to see the tail end of the Squishmallow collab. Cute merch and menu! I got just an air fresher otherwise I would end up with no money for the tea. Lol. I stuck with the drink from the regular menu, Passion Fruit Green Tea with lychee jelly. Not too sweet which made the drink even more refreshing. It was served of course in a bear cup! The guy who made my drink was very nice. Wish I lived near a Bearology to get to see what their next collab would be. read more

Honestly thought it could've been better. Service was good tho. But to take in consideration it is a boba shop. Hot n spicy taste better than spicy seafood. Popcorn chicken was mid and we got more chips than chicken. The lychee apricot tea was not good at all lol decorations were kind of cool. read more

Was looking for a place to study and randomly stumbled upon this spot and I'm glad I did. This place is a gem. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, so whether you're settling in for a study session or just grabbing something quick, there's plenty to choose from. The ambiance leans more on the dim side, which I personally love. It feels cozy, calm, and perfect for focusing without feeling sterile or loud. Huge shout out to Gloria! I genuinely thought she was the owner at first because of how welcoming and attentive she was. Her warmth and amazing customer service truly stood out and made the entire experience that much better. This cute boba shop is open daily 12-10pm Parking can be challenging since it's located in a super busy shopping plaza so parking is shared with many other businesses Service was decent and helpful. Inside was very spacious and had lots of Squishmallows since that was the theme this month! Really enjoyed the cute decorations and the claw machines! It was sooo annoying to get access to the menu because I had to scan the QR code and it was super laggy so it took a super long time for the menu to load! Menu had a good variety of fruit and milk teas, as well as snacks! Pricing was pricey and all drinks were $6.75. There are food options, such as bear dessert cakes ($8.75), Squishmallows themed food (pork sliders w/ chips - $18), Mellow Melt - $11, as well as other cute Squishmallow mugs, accessories and plushies! Expect to pay $15-$20+! The Almond Milk Tea ($6.75) was just ok. It was very bland and lacked any flavor of almond or tea. Perhaps it was because I requested less ice and 1/4 sugar but I wasn't expecting it to be flavorless. This was very disappointing and definitely not worth $6.75! Overall, I really enjoyed how cute the decorations were but the drinks were definitely overpriced so I most likely won't recommend or return unfortunately. read more

I'm just a bit upset that I tried to ask for updates on the light Tumblr cups, and I didn't hear back from customer service. I've been waiting for this cup since March. Saw this on social media and decided to check it out. I saw this Anime, but didn't finish the series yet. It is an interesting Anime. This place is very cool. It has the Demon Slayer Mugen Train theme when we were visiting there. Feels like you are actually on the Mugen Train. So that was pretty cool. The staffs were friendly and nice. We ordered several drinks and a dessert. Food came out fairly quickly. Drinks were good as well as the dessert. All and all, we had a fun time here. Highly recommend if you love the Demon Slayer Anime. read more
