The guys here were really nice, i came in unexpectedly and was hungry for something quick and easy to eat on the go. They suggested the tahdig taco which was nothing short of perfect. I cant wait to come back to dine in. It may look small but there is an ample amount of seating.

Everyone needs to give this place some love! It's a beautiful space with delicious food. It was VERY quiet for a Friday evening, but it was also ridiculously cold outside. You get bread with olive and yogurt spreads to start. Yes, please! I then got the beef stew, which was delicious and so comforting. My friend and I shared the chicken kebob, which was tender. She ordered a pasta dish with chicken. I was surprised that the chicken in her pasta was the same as the kebob, but zero complaints. It was delicious! We then split baklava and tiramisu. The baklava wasn't too sweet or sticky and had a nice crunch. The tiramisu was to die for if you like a denser cake. Think Boston cream but tiramisu. My friend and I were talking about returning before the end of our meal!

Chicken and Kafta Combo with rice and salad.

We were here when the location was a sandwich shop. It's now an Italian-Persian restaurant. Opened about 8 months, they recently expanded their footprint so there is much more seating than before, as well as a stage for music and a belly dancer (who we missed by an hour during our Friday visit). It's a nice place. You order at the counter and then grab a seat in the same room or in the new dining area, which is very comfortable. We opted for an order of hummus, the Spicy Chicken Kabob and the Combo Chicken Kafta kabob. Each comes with rice and salad, but my partner opted for all salad. The hummus and pita were good, and, for $6, a nice portion. The owner also brought over a tray with minced olives, tzatziki and more pita. We enjoyed them both. The salad with the entrees was surprisingly a hit with both of us. Cold, crisp fresh salad with a tasty vinegrette. My rice was well prepared. The spicy chicken was not very spicy, but the owner asked if we wanted something to spice it further and brought over a cup of a jalapeño sauce that did the job. My chicken and kafta were both moist and flavorful. If you order water, they'll have you grab a bottle ($1.75) of cold water from the frig. We enjoyed the Persian side of things, but, based on pictures and a few reviews, I do want to come back and try some things from the Italian side. As I mentioned, they have evening entertainment some nights and they are open till midnight every night.

Lobster ravioli with Argentinian, shrimp and blistered cherry tomatoes

I was introduced to this restaurant for a friend's birthday party and it didn't disappoint. We all shared appetizers of Caprese, zucchini, blossoms, calamari, and bruschetta.. and it didn't stop there then we ordered from menus. I had lobster ravioli with Argentinian shrimp and Bersted cherry tomatoes.. absolutely lovely. The shrimps were big and sweet. The four ravioli was filled with luscious lobster and cheese.. the focaccia bread was drizzled with olive oil oil, sea salt and rosemary. Extremely delicious. I hear that this is the same dough that they use for their pizzas.. Friends ordered Cacio de Pepe, gnocchi with pears and Gorgonzola, TaliaTele, Bolognese, and tuna with Pasta. Johny and Carmine were absolutely fabulous hosts and even mama Lena stepped out of the kitchen to bid the birthday girl warm wishes. We will be returning to this extremely small family owned place which cooks everything with love, so I am sure their pizzas will be divine as well. Reservations only.

I have been wanting to try this spot since they had unique items on their menu. We got their tahdig tacos and pizza w/ ghormeh sabzi, and the other half was Persian pizza. It was so delicious, which I highly recommend trying out! I really enjoyed the tahdig tacos since it had just enough crunch, but they were a tad messy!

I came across this new place thanks to our CM Andrew and was intrigued by a Persian/Italian restaurant. I went with a few guy friends to have dinner and it was a great experience! The menu is small and easy to decide. However some of the items on the online menu weren't on the menu in store. The restaurant is small so there isn't much seating but it is nice and cozy. You order at the front and the food is promptly brought out to you. We ordered a few items, including the Persian pizza, tahdig taco, kubideh wrap and margharita pizza. The pizzas were delicious and well flavored. I really loved the tahdig taco! Next time I will try the traditional Persian pizza that the owner told me about! Definitely worth checking out! Also the food here is confirmed halal except for the prosciutto (obvs)

Food was very good and well portioned. All the pizzas that are pictured are 10 inches they have a bigger size too. Fairly small inside, maybe 5-6 tables and the counter seating. Parking is next to the 7-11. You order by going to the cashier I think? Person never came to our table. We never got complimentary water and that seemed like it was for everyone too? Otherwise the experience was good. I highly recommend and will be coming back. I forgot you also get free pita and yogurt/olive dips to start, which were also fresh and delicious. Love the fusion of Italian and middle eastern here.

We ordered take out from here recently and overall things were really tasty. We got the chicken parm sub with fries (so good!), the chicken/koobideh kabob combo (tasty but not quite as flavorful as mama joon's for instance), and the vodka pasta (could have used more sauce in my opinion). Overall really solid and look forward to trying more thin

Upon figuring out where and what to eat for lunch at work, one of my coworkers remembered seeing an instagram post from "The Moco Show" then he remembered them posting about a NEW spot called ITALIAMO! Italian & Persian Food Infusion - Wow! Such a different and unique twist and I was here to try it out. Looking at their menu online, there was so much options to choose from and great prices. We called & got all our questions answered, placed our orders and were informed that they just opened not even 2 weeks ago. This spot was easy to find and was near to a gas station. Beautiful, clean and pleasant place. Since this was a pickup order, I don't have that much to speak about inside since I didn't dine in. Customer Service was AMAZING!!!!!! I believe the guy I spoke with was the owner and he was truly a GEM!!! Even with a minor issue, he provided great communication and service with a huge smile. His energy was beautiful and I felt like I was visiting someone I already knew. Menus and online website is so beautiful and well done, they definitely have a great marketing team especially for a being a new spot. Finally, I got back to work and excited to eat my food. I didn't order much since I wasn't sure What to expect. TAHDIG SALMON TACOS OMGGGGGGGG!!!!! This was sooooo different, unique and absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I'm not sure What the shell was made of but it wasn't your typical taco shell (semi crunchy & semi soft). Inside was a layered of saffron rice (the part that's crunchy at bottom of pot Mmmmm) along with lettuce, Persian pico de gallo (made with cucumbers) & grilled salmon chunks. It also came with sauces on the side. This was incredible and I'm mad I didn't order 2, if you get this please order at least 2 because even though it's filling, 1 isn't enough. I'm coming back for this sooner than later. I wanted to try the Rigatoni Alla Vodka but most definitely next time. I hope they come out with a dish that has both Italian and Persian food on 1 plate. As per owner, their current menu will be expanded and will include in house homemade desserts (I can't wait). I will definitely be back to try more of their food!!!!

Came here on a whim for their opening day. The menu was pretty diverse but I settled on the koobideh platter. The entree did not disappoint as it came with a good amount of food and was full of flavor. It also comes with a side of bread, the traditional white sauce and also a spicy green sauce upon request. I prefer it to places such as Moby Dick's. The service was friendly too and I look forward to trying out other items they offer here.

You can taste the quality of the dough and it was nice and firm, but chewy at the same time--very good! The cheese did not slide off upon picking up (had the most mid pie at Modo Mio in Arlington) and the toppings were also pretty solid. Service was not the most enthusiastic, but not the worse; I cared more for the pizza. Thought about whether this place is a 4 or 5 star and what decides that is if I'd come back and I definitely will. We'll give them a 5 star!!

I shared a cheese pizza with my daughter, my mother had the chicken piccata, my cousin the gnocchi, my father the chicken parm, my cousin had a caprese salad and the further seats I couldn't see. We all shared a few orders of the calamari. EVERYONE raved about how delicious their food was. I agree. Probably the best piccata I've tasted. The pizza was excellent. The tiramisu great. The pistachio gelato was perfect. I sure wish they were closer to Florida!! So good.

Our server checked on us throughout the meal, another staff member repeatedly refilled my friend's water, and another stopped by to brush the bread crumbs from our table. Parking in the lot directly in front of the restaurant is limited, but there is additional parking available behind the building. The restaurant is beautiful with a warm, romantic, old Italian vibe. The food was great and surprisingly reasonably priced for how nice the restaurant feels. I wouldn't say it's the most mind-blowing Italian food I've ever had, but it tasted like a truly delicious homemade Italian meal. The wine prices were also fair. On top of that, our server was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the night. Overall, such a lovely dinner and definitely a place we'll be back to again. One note: you have 2 hour limit so just be aware you may be a little rushed!

The food was front and center and the star of the show was the wild mushroom appetizer. I will be coming back for those - mushrooms, artichokes, fig, and goat cheese ... all in a flavorful broth (like how mussels are prepared ) and they leave a piece of bread in the center to soak it all up. Incredible. We also had the salmon, eggplant, and crab ravioli and all the entrees were a home run. Service was immaculate. Every time someone finished a plate - they were right behind us ready to clear. Went back a week later for those mushrooms! Got a pic this time. Chicken was overcooked but a solid healthier option.

The entrees were very good. The salmon had a nice char, but was moist and flavorful. If you like salmon with a sauce, you'll be disappointed. I like mine simple, and this is a well-prepared salmon. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. Essentially, you dipped tasteless bread into oil. Really disappointing. I'm not going to reduce my overall restaurant score for this one thing (because the entrees were very good), but the bread service was not good. The service was good.

The pesto cream was generous and appetizing while the toasted pignolis added a much-needed crunch factor. I also tried the drunken veal parmigiana and carbonara special which were both specials I believe. The veal was topped with vodka sauce with a side of pasta. This was solid. The vodka sauce was flavorful but could have been a little spicier. The veal was tender but there needed to be more seasoning present. The pasta was tasty too. The carbonara had shrimp that were cooked ideally and was just a well put together dish. Again, the pasta was cooked to my liking. Will I go back? I would.

After negotiations, we ended up with the following: Goat cheese stuffed fig appetizer White lasagna w/ shrimp and crab (one of the specials) w/ roasted veggies. Italian style paella For drinks, my husband got the blueberry margarita and I followed instructions to "ask about our creative mocktails", and ended up with a superlative strawberry no-jito. (It was REALLY good. I want another one. Now. Hub's drink was also tasty but I liked mine better.) Of all the dishes, my favorite was the Italian style paella. Tons of perfectly cooked seafood in a delicious broth with angel hair. Liht and delicious. The white lasagna was also delish but the dominant flavor was the mozzarella; the seafood didn't come through as much with this one. But I absolutely loved the roasted vegetables it came with. Sometimes the simple dishes are the best. The figs were quite tasty, it's hard to go wrong with goat cheese. I think I get dates and figs confused because they weren't quite what I expected but I enjoyed them. The service was friendly and pretty fast. There are still a bunch of dishes there I want to try so I will try to get back on another date night before too long and order something different. Small negatives - it was a tad warm in the restaurant but given that it was HOT A.F. outside, I will cut them slack on that. Also, I wouldn't have minded a small amount of bread with the meal, maybe you have to order it and I just didn't notice? I'm used to a little bit of bread with Italian food so it didn't occur to me to do so but I would have loved to sop up some of the delicious broth from the paella with it.

While the service was friendly, the timing of the food was slower than expected. Our CT's Famous Grilled Caesar Salad arrived about 20 minutes after ordering, and our Crispy Thin White Pizza didn't arrive until about 45 minutes after we placed our order. I was also disappointed to learn that the Tri Color Cheese Tortellini had been removed from the menu, as it had always been one of my favorite dishes here. The CT's Famous Grilled Caesar Salad is still a solid starter. We also enjoyed the Crispy Thin White Pizza, and I liked that it was presented flat rather than stacked, unlike the version at Amalfi Ristorante. That presentation allowed the toppings and crust to shine, while still offering its own distinct flavor. I'd also love to see the Tortoni dessert make a return, even if it's only offered as an occasional special. It was a memorable way to end a meal and would be a nice nostalgic addition to the menu. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the longer wait despite mentioning our schedule and the removal of a couple of favorite menu items, this visit didn't quite match the experiences I've had here in the past.
