Food is great and so is the family that owns the business. Staffing seems to be an issue at times, but we understand a lot of businesses are struggling with the very same issue. I swear I kept looking in the back to see if grandma was rolling out the pasta herself. This was by far one of the best Italian restaurants in America! I say this because I travel a lot. We did curbside pickup here and it is awesome. The pasta is so delicious, you can absolutely tell it's made fresh. We got spicy Mac, fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, trotolle pesto, and papperdelle Bolognese. They were all very good, not perfect but scrumptious. All of them lacked salt and the pesto needed more oil but despite that they were good enough to be devoured by my family. The Mac and Bolognese were my favorites. They are friendly and doing amazing work during the pandemic, I am going to try to keep staring then as best as I can and I hope they're here for a long long time read more

I ordered the ravioli with pancetta and was quite surprised when I received only four flat raviolis that were smaller than the palm of my hand. The taste of them were excellent, but I was still hungry after I finished them within two minutes. To say I was seriously disappointed would be an understatement. An order of four small ravioli was $16!!! And an additional $2 for pancetta that was barely there to taste. $18 for ravioli! Totally not worth the price. Seeing that I was disappointed, a friend offered some of her Vegetable Antipasto. She and I were NOT impressed with that either. The pasta had VERY LITTLE taste and was drenched in oil that pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Suffice to say I will most likely not visit this establishment again. A majority of the people in our group feel the same way and decided that will be there one and only visit. That's too bad since we want to support our local businesses. read more

I am in town for business and staying at a nearby hotel. I thought the options around here were somewhat sad, but saw this place had good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. With Covid, I only have been getting takeout at restaurants. When I went by to pick up my meal, I was bummed I couldn't stay. Very cute spot. The people were very friendly. I got back to my hotel and was very pleased with the food. It is hard to make takeout look food, but they did it. Perfect portion size, looked good, and tasted great. I had called my wife earlier moping about how there were no good dinner options in the area, but she ended up being the jealous one after I sent her a picture of my meal! We really enjoyed this cute and delicious Italian restaurant. The pasta was incredibly fresh and delicious. Probably the best we have ever had. The bread was so good with the olive oil dip! The portions are large enough for us to have leftovers. Reservations are definitely needed since it's a small place. We loved the decor except the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. If there is a chance to get better comfortable chairs I would really recommend it. But I would sit in those hard chairs again just to get the food! And the meat (Bolognese + meatballs) all had a weird funk to it and the Bolognese was so dry. Disappointing, way over priced. I was a working professional chef for over 20 years, and as a living human animal, still purchase and cook food every day. This place is exploiting an already dire situation. Wow! This is an amazing find in Nampa! A friend and I wanted to try something new for a "ladies night out," and we were blown away! EVERYTHING was done just right--the food, service, and atmosphere. The welcoming interior has an elegant shabby chic vibe, but we chose to sit outside because the weather was so nice. Food is served on eclectic vintage china pieces with mis-matched sterling silver utensils, giving the dining experience an elegant yet very homey feeling. The food was spectacular, both in flavor and presentation. We started out with the cheezy bread, which was served with an irresistible Alfredo sauce dip. The focaccia is some of the best I have ever had, and was perfectly seasoned. All the pastas are made on site, and are extremely flavorful. This is the kind of place where you could savor just having pasta with nothing but butter on it (which is actually a dish on the menu) and still feel like you had something special. I ordered the radiatori primavera, which has a pesto sauce that is so fresh and full of flavor that you could drink it. My friend ordered the lasagne, which had a unique, somewhat rustic appearance. She said it was fantastic. I am a vegetarian, and often, the entrees available to me feel like they were an afterthought haphazardly pasted on to the end of the menu just in case someone didn't want to eat meat. Italianesque has a completely different approach. There were so many well appointed choices for vegetarians that I could hardly decide what to order, and plan to come back to experience all of them. The choices had obviously been well thought out, with complex flavors and food combinations. This was very impressive to me. Our evening did not include dessert, but the choices sounded extremely unique and tempting. Instead, we ordered coffee, which came with china cups and saucers, and a French press carafe. It was rich and delicious, and made a perfect ending to the evening. As were enjoying delicious beverage, the owner came to our table and completed our evening with an engaging and extremely pleasant conversation. In this very home style restaurant I did not expect Michelin quality food but that's what we ate. Incredible. We started with an herb encrusted focaccia, so fluffy. We ordered balsamic and herbed olive oil for dipping. It was savory with a kick I was not expecting. I had the hand made dough ravioli in 3 flavors. Light as air, perfectly cooked, sautéed in butter, dusted with an excellent parm. My friend had meatballs with marinara. The sauce had fennel and another herb I couldn't identify but I loved it. You can tell if a sauce has been simmering forever, it's the best. My true test of an Italian restaurant is desserts which they make in house. The tiramisu was perfect. This restaurant is tucked into a mall, well worth the hunt. Best food I've had out in a very long time. read more

We've been meaning to check out this place since it opened and wished we had started coming here earlier!!! We felt like we took a short trip to Italy for the evening and aside from the food being absolutely delicious and sooo obviously fresh, the staff and restaurant made us feel like family while there! Got to talk to the owner/chef a bit and loved their story and their "why." She asked Aaron to seat us he made some remark to her and she responded I know that. He then approached us and said just so you know ti have all these tables ahead you so it's gonna take awhile. Everything was so amazing! We were instantly greeted by Leslie. Let me just say, SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST WAITRESSES IVE EVER HAD. Leslie is so friendly and knowledgeable! Delicious and homemade Italian food. Very attentive and friendly service. Servings are big, so you can share or enjoy leftovers the next day, which I was a fan of! A few weeks ago, I stopped in to eat here after much anticipation and to sum it up, the food that was ordered and received, honestly, was awful. Never before have I been served a plate of lasagna that had water on the plate underneath of it and appeared to have been heated with a blow torch due to the blackened edges which were literally charred. In an attempt to get past the visual part of the meal, I tried a few bites which were extremely salty and stopped there. I wanted to like this place. The folks seemed nice enough and it is apparent that a lot of thought went into the decorating and atmosphere. I asked for the bill and a to go box and as I waited for that, decided that I couldn't even bring myself to take home something that I couldn't eat there. It was my hope that leaving the plate and to go container there would make a statement and hopefully, it did. As with all educations, this was an expensive one and my lesson has been learned. It is quite unbelievable that the ratings for this establishment are what they are as my experience was very different and based on that, I will never return here to eat. read more

So happy we found this gem! The food is absolutely bomb and made with lots of love, not your average Italian! What we loved even more than the food, was the personality! This place is family owned and operated. Dad is cooking, mom is running the show and serving and the son is serving and making sure all is well. We were in town for a week and went twice.
