They must have made it special for you. We went there twice and they absolutely sucked both times. The bread bowl was dry and hard, the pasta was grossly overcooked to point where it fell apart when put on a the fork. And the burrita was dry. The chicken cutlet was also overcooked and dry. We ate there on Friday night after seeing on Facebook the different bowls they made. The food was very good. We were very happy with it.

The service was great but the food was absolutely awful. My father and I split an appetizer of baked clams, and the clams were not clean, completely lost my appetite. For the main course, my cousin and I got ourselves a bread bowl with their vodka sauce. Whatever was in it is going right through us. As for my father's main course, he got eggplant parm with a side of angel hair with marinara sauce. So over seasoned with garlic it was hardly edible. None of us finished our plates. The food was delicious, the wait was atrocious. We failed to make a reservation and had to wait about an hour which is hard with 2 small kids. There was a large table empty for about an hour before the reservation showed up which could have been turned over before they even showed up. I saw a lot of hype online about the bread bowls and wanted to try it. I saw nothing that was picture online and while it was good just order pasta and pass on the bread bowl. They give you the same bread in a basket, so cute it open and scoop it and you can make your own bread bowl. The service was meh. The waitress took our order and brought the check, that was it. I just stopped by my favorite Italian restaurant, Italianos in Bethpage and took out my go to specialities. The grandma slices, spinach artichoke slices, minestrone soup and chicken balsamic dinner that comes with a salad or a side of pasta. All fabulous! While I was waiting I sat at the bar and had the most delicious cappuccino made by William. Of course I had to add a pack of delicious biscotti and had some with my cappuccino. What a treat. More delicious and reasonably priced than my usual Starbucks latte!! You have to try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. read more

Went tonight as we were dying to try it after all the reviews. Needless to say we walked in and were told there was a 45 minute wait however, the bar area was open and we were not offered it. I then asked if we could eat at the bar instead of waiting for a table and they were like ok. We never ordered appetizers and at 6:35 ordered 2 bread bowl pastas (their specialties). After 45 minutes we asked what was doing w our food and were told there was a lot of orders. A manager approached us and said our order was next. In the interim 3 orders were brought over to us mistakenly and for another table. Now ios almost and hour and we asked again where our food was and were told by the girl we ordered with that she doesn't work in the kitchen. Therefore, we said (after 1 hour plus...) please cancel our order. They said oh don't worry it's on us. So I said what do I owe u for the iced tea and coke we had and she said nothing it's on us. Do u want us to pack the food up for you she asked and we said ok. Now it's over an hour and 10 minutes and the food still never came so we just walked out. So disgusted! I will never ever go back! Went in on a Saturday afternoon. Ambience and service were okay. Pizza and other things in the case looked good and I probably should have stuck with that. Ordered chicken Milanese with a side of mushroom risotto. I was excited they had mushroom risotto as a side choice. I shouldn't have been. The "risotto" was basically buttered rice with some mushroom pieces in it. The chicken Milanese was three pieces of barely breaded chicken with little taste next to a sad little pile of arugula and some grape tomatoes. My husband had pasta with the Bolognese sauce that he said was, "meh." Kids wanted Shirley Temples and our waiter said they only had the premade kind in the bottle. My son doesn't like that so we said, no thanks. The waiter must have overheard us saying it was odd that a place like that couldn't make one and he came back over and said actually they could! The kids were happy and then the drink arrived and was obviously from the bottle. My son drank it anyway and the waiter asked him if he wanted another and of course being a kid, he said yes. My husband saw the waiter pouring the bottled version in a glass and then we got charged for it. read more
