Popped in for Valentines with a reservation and was seated after a brief wait at a tiny table. The parking lot was full and i parked at an apartment complex in the back or something. The valentines menu was mainly seafood. I started with 3 spreads 21$ and pita and the Tzaziki was good while the hummus and jalapeno spread seemed bland. The 19$ greek salad was served in a different vessel than the 16$ greek salad but im not quite sure there is a difference aside from a piece of feta? My large greek salad was meh, while the veggies were good the dressing or oil or whatever was bland. Ha. Im used to american greek salads i guess with better dressing and hot peppers. Maybe i ordered the wrong dishes to judge the restaurant. With salads and spreads out the table was so cramped it was a balancing act ha. The candle light was a nice touch though. The soup i ordered for $11 was lemon, rice and big chunks of chicken and tasted good. Just wondering how is my chicken served cold in a hot soup? Its almost impressive. Either way the service suffered due to being busy with our empty drinks seemingly a burden to refresh or any other requests as well. Overall my girl liked her tuna entree but even she wasnt impressed with the experience service-wise or even with the decor. Jalissa was an incredible server. She took on so many tables and still never missed a beat with us. This girl works. She is Seaport level sever. This is the cutest spot. My friend kept wanting to take me here since it's close to their house and they come here so often. He boasted about the Greek fries, but my taste on things is way different than his. However, this one time, he was so right. Man, all the things are good. If you like garlic, you'll love most of these dishes. Everything was so good and so feeling stay away from the bread because that little dipping sauce they give you is delicious and it will make you eat all the bread and then you get full. Do not get the fries before you eat your food because you would have to beat them up because it's so delicious you can't stop eating them. Buy bottles if you plan on having more than two glasses of wine it's cheaper for you and the dope thing is is the server recommended it and I've never had anybody do that I literally buy bottles of wine everywhere I go cuz I know I'm going to drink more than the the glasses and I've never had anybody suggest that so it was dope that she did. I came and dined by myself for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was busy, but not packed. The section of tables that I was in were rather close together, so I felt like I was sitting in on other's conversations. I ended up popping in popping in headphones. The server made me feel very welcome. The gyro itself was fresh and seasoned well but unfortunately very dry. The fries though... THE FRIES... hot and crispy in all the right ways. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service was wonderful. The food was just ok. We started with the hummus that came with pita chips as opposed to fresh pita bread. The hummus itself was bland and a rough texture . It lacked seasoning in particular garlic. The chicken souvlaki was grilled nicely with a good flavor and was served with yogurt, tomatoes and red onion and pita triangles. The spanakopita was mostly spinach and lacked feta cheese. They use the thicker filo dough so you miss those layers of flaky goodness. The food was not worth the price. read more

Food was amazing, s we rice was really nice and the ambiance was good! The food was really tasty, presented amazingly. They made a special effort for us. My daughter has external stimuli issues, and they seated us in a area away from the fray if the room, but did not feel completely separate. My husband and I came here with his brother and mom to celebrate her birthday. The food and service were outstanding! We loved our flavorful dishes and our server Dimitri was so kind and helpful. Absolutely loved dining here for some appetizers before dinner, in fact it was so delicious that I really wanted to stay for dinner too! For one thing, it felt so homey inside, like a spot frequently visited by the locals, and the staff seemed to know many of their dining guests. If I lived in this area, I know I'd become one of those regulars! It was really difficult to choose from the mezze menu what to get but went off the recommendation for the grilled octopus and the eggplant and feta dish. Both of these were excellent starters! The octopus was grilled and seasoned perfectly, each bite exploding with flavor, accompanied by Fava bean mash (super unique) and a bed of arugula with drizzled olive oil. The eggplant with feta dish had a nice balance to it and the flavors complimented each other, rather than feeling too dessert-like which cheese appetizers tend to feel like for me. They also offer bread to accompany the meal with a delicious dipping sauce. I'll certainly be coming back this way to check out all the other options on their menu! read more

The first thing I noticed upon walking in was the beautiful artwork and decor. The place was packed on a Friday night, but thankfully, my friend made a reservation. We went with avgolemono soup, falafel, hummus and lamb, stuffed grape leaves, and spanakopita. Dessert was the Galaktoboureko. Everything was absolutely delicious, the presentation was stunning, and the service was excellent. Even the complementary bread and dip was next level. I will definitely be back many more times. Nice decor. Went on a Saturday afternoon for breakfast. Unfortunately we were running short on time after waiting for nearly 45 minutes for our order and wasn't able to try the food. They are closed 2-4pm on Saturday's to turnover for dinner. The restaurant is large and there seemed to be enough waitstaff for patrons. read more

So disappointed in my recent dinner. Started with the octopus appetizer which was outstanding. The dinner of rack of lamb was horrendous. I ordered rare and two times came out medium to well. The third time was a bleak medium rare which they did not charge me for but I refused anyway. So disappointed. Two days later my office orders lunch to go. Again, big disappointment. My $17 grapes leaves were 5 small, and I mean small, finger sized grape leaves swimming in a salty sauce. Never again. The Greek salad was not eventful. We get better at a sun shop. Very disappointed with this place, I truly hoped you were going to change the dining experience in this neighborhood. read more

The decor is very contemporary. The service was the best I have had in a while. Our waitress was top notch! The apps were good. Here is where I had an issue. Ordered the lamb shank. I get the feeling this was reheated or something. The lamb shank had no signs of braising liquid on it at all. I did not taste any sauce/liquid either. The lamb was tender though. Then I get to the tomato orzo. It was mush. Orzo should be al dente and this orzo either was reheated after sitting in the sauce which mushed out the orzo or the orzo was over cooked. For $36 per plate, I would expect better. read more

I only went for a small dinner and sat at the bar. The spreads were delicious and I had to try the 3 different sampler plate. The calamari tasted fresh and not rubbery like most places. The sangria was delicious and I recommend it to everyone. I will be back to try entrees and other dishes at this great spot. read more

An experience to be had. About an hour south from Dover NH, but the food is worth the drive. We had Tsasiki (sp?) meh not great, but the lamb shank and spanikopita were to die for. This place is busy so the word is definitely out and it isn't cheap. 4 of us and the bill was $300 including tip. Outstanding service and authentic Greek food. Excellent !!! Expected more of a home style cooking. This cuisine is suited for fine dining. Very well executed as well as it's presentation. Someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Everything about this place is phenomenal. The Waiter had a great personality and was very attentive. The food is out of this world delicious. The best place I have been in a long time. The portions are generous. The best part for me was they didn't rush your food out to you, you can take your time eating your appetizers. I love this place. I highly recommend it. Ithaki offers very good food - unexceptional overall but good enough. We had a very good meal there. However, it was not an OUTSTANDING meal as someone had told me, and at these (higher) prices the food should be better than it was. Everything is at a consistent level of "very good." But I had been told to be expect better, and we didn't get that. The lamb shank, a classic Greek dish if ever there was one, was fine but not exceptional. The meat was just slightly overcooked (even being braised), but the tomato sauce was indistinct. I've had much better versions of this same dish from a close Greek friend and at the late great John's Bar & Grill in Beverly (which was EXCEPTIONAL food priced at a bargain, but alas it is now gone). No one eating this dish for a first time would think it was bad. But it was not as good as it gets. The dolmades were fine - unexceptional but good enough. The hummus was fine but again not exceptional. My companion's moussaka was reasonably good, but she did not finish it and said she didn't need to, and didn't want to take the rest home. We skipped dessert. read more

I was in a celebration, and I don't know if it is different in regular circumstances, but it went like this: For half an hour, everyone got settled in. Then, for the next hour, we ate appetizers. Then for the main course, it took around 2 hours. Terrible. read more

Very disappointed last visit . Spinach pie was not what I have ever had before, it was in a hard shell unlike dough that I'm accustomed to. For 17 dollars. And the lunch menu was limited. For the prices we paid I don't think I would go back. I will say I went on Greek Easter to the old location and it was excellent read more

Used to be a better place. Took 25 min to ask us what we want to drink. (Don't bite what you can't eat) Don't reserve tables if you don't have employees. Only 2 attending all restaurant and the front of the house. Half of menu was gone and we were attending during dinner time at 7 PM. Disappointed read more
