My wife and I decided to order an acai bowl, a very popular healthy breakfast or any snack or meal. l enjoyed acai, especially contain dragonfruit, a very popular fruit that's very healthy and sweet. I ordered a Dragonfruit Acai bowl, and then my wife ordered a PB Acai. It has peanut butter on top of the acai. My Dragonfruit Acai bowl was really with fresh fruit like banana,strawberries,and blueberries. They were very good in other items like coconut flakes and granola and alse honey, and it was good. My wife, PJ Acai, tasted very good with a good amazing flavor, adding PB on top of the Acai even though I took a bite very good and other level of flavor. Overall, we enjoy it. It's Boba time. First time trying It's Boba Time in Alhambra and overall, a solid experience! My husband ordered the Jasmine milk tea with boba and said it was perfect not too sweet and just the right amount of ice to cool off in the heat. I got the original Açaí (asked for no honey) and it was awesome sweet enough on its own and super refreshing. I do want to come back and try the dragon fruit Açaí next time! Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the customer service it was okay. Everyone seemed busy doing their own thing and didn't pay much attention to the customers. Popped in while picking up lunch from next door. This location used to be a Menchie's Frozen Yogurt up until a few years ago, so I was curious about how it looks now. Was warmly greeted as I walked in...I was the only customer there as it was lunchtime on a weekday. The kind cashier took my order and I truly appreciated his genuine and personable attitude. It seemed that he may have been rather new to the job as he had to confirm some information with the manager-on-duty about my transaction. Needless to say, he left a positive first-impression about this business. The menu is extensive so luckily I did some research beforehand...decided on two drinks: the Galaxy and Coconut Strawberry Smoothie (both with boba). Drinks tasted great and I'm looking forward to a return visit soon. There is a ton of options for an indulgent treats such as this in the area but I can see why this brand has a following. Just to start off, this place is bad. Not only do they mess up a simple drink order every time, it's always bitter and never sweet. Just got a drink from here and I like to give them the benefit of the doubt but the boba was literally stuck together and undrinkable. It's Boba Time is pretty consistent between locations. My group got the peach lychee fruit tea with mango popping boba, the taro milk tea with boba, the matcha tornado (cookies and cream with matcha), and the hibiscus berry lemonade tea with strawberry boba. We've never had the matcha tornado before and it was very sweet but good. For the peach lychee fruit tea, there was a lot of pulp/fruit pieces. Boba toppings are .75 cents extra and a large size (vs a regular) is .50 cents extra. The service was quick and nice. I was in the area and so I decided to try this "It's Boba Time" in Alhambra, because I'm used to the brand and their House Milk Tea is usually really delicious. Unfortunately the House Milk Tea at this location tasted absolutely awful. It tasted like tea flavored water with boba. The boba itself was good, but the beverage itself was incredibly disappointing. This boba place was not what I expected. Don't let the long lines and crowds of people coming here give you FOMO to come here. It's not really boba or at least that what I tasted. On a Friday night this movie theatre area on Main and Garfield is very busy. Full of movie goers and people who just came from a movie. First thing people do is wither grab something before a show or after as a snack. Inside this store was packed of people waiting for their orders. There were only 2 guys working there. Once people got their orders the place started to clear, otherwise this place can feel claustrophobic. I tried their Strawberry Match drink on their Top 10 menu item list. It was tasteless. It was as if I was drinking milk in a cup of ice. No Matcha flavor and no taste of Strawberry at all! I opted for a regular size since a large would be an investment. Glad I did not go for a size up. Their regular size for the price was steep! Also tried a macaron while I was there. They were just there staring out in front of the display case in its array of colors. I chose earl grey since it has a nice subtle taste and it was in this color blue color. Sadly it did not have any earl grey taste at all... it tastes like a chocolate soft cookie with a vanilla center dyed in blue color. I think if you go for other drink flavors that have a popular distinct taste like "oreo" then the drink would be ok. Otherwise, I would steer clear of this place. I personally did not like the boba coffee. It was a bit bitter not that sweet. I have yet to try other drinks here, but their boba is so-so. Their boba is smaller than normal and not as small as a mini boba. I don't prefer this unusual size boba and it can be cooked a bit more. It's finally open! Located right next to the movie theater in Alhambra on Main and Garfield. Perfect pairing for family days. We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Its Boba Time. Seeing the remodeling and the lights go on have been such a tease to witness. After all of our waiting, of course they officially open while we were on vacation last week. Even though we missed the grand opening, it was a happy discovery to find business booming and be able to grab a drink before our Sunday family movie. With so many boba and tea shops in the area, at least 6 within a mile radius, I wasn't sure that one more shop was needed. We love Its Boba Time for their quality teas and flavor, and are happy to put this location in our rotation. The service was fast and the drinks, delicious as always. I've been seeing locations all over SoCal for some time now and decided to finally give it a go. The menu is HUGE...I love that there's a bunch of options. I decided to go with the Strawberry Matcha which was part of their Top 10 most popular drinks and my fiancé got the Dirty Matcha. Drinks: -Strawberry Matcha: It was decent, nothing too special about it. There was a nice strawberry flavor but the quality of the match is just okay. It was nice cause you can add 1 scoop of boba for free...but the boba was pretty bad. The first time in my life I wish I didn't add boba to my drink. The texture of the boba was just bad. The first mouthful had no chew to it at all, it just kinda disintegrated which was weird. The second mouthful had a few better pieces that were slightly chewy. Also, not sure if it's just me but the size of the boba is smaller than most. I'm personally not a fan of mini boba which could also be why I didn't enjoy it. -Dirty Matcha: This drink was underwhelming. It was super watered down and you can barely taste the coffee. If you want coffee at a boba shop, walk to Magik Milk...they have a good coffee option for you coffee lovers. I'm sad to be leaving my first bad review, but there's more cons I could think of than pros.
