It amounted to about $9.50 but it was completely free because of my birthday deal! Taste: Real banana in the banana cream. Super creamy and delicious. Not too sweet. I would've been happy with an extra two scoops of matcha tbh because the matcha was still pretty subtle despite the extra scoop. No chalky protein taste. No aftertaste, though I did do real sugar. Maybe I will try the no-sugar/artificial sweetener option next time. The service was good. The cashier handled all of my requests patiently and also asked if I wanted any other toppings like caramel drizzle. It was a little crowded when I arrived, with kids getting of school, but I got my drink within about 10-15 minutes of ordering. I placed a mobile order through the app. I found parking on the street adjacent to the store. Walked in, was greeted right away. Part of my order was ready and was placed in the area of the bar with A-J/K-Z. Im not sure how it is done, but my order was at the A-J section, lol. There werent that many people inside, so it was quiet, warm, and calm. I ordered a honey citrus mint tea with a bagel. The bag that the bagel came in, had a separate part to include a plastic knife and the cream cheese. I thought that was pretty cool. read more

I ordered online literally as I was walking in the door so I expected a wait. As I stood there I watched 4 people bring their drinks back because they were made wrong. I also watch two female employees laughing at a customer. I asked for no ice and got my drink with ice. They remade the drink but it tasted like water.. it just seems like they are at work for fun instead of work. The only pleasant part about my visit was when the manager walked through the store and checked on all of the customers but as soon as she went into the back, the kids working behind the counter were back at play.. I come to this Starbucks regularly - once a week for the past few months. It's not that I expect the employees to know me by name or anything but I want to set up the context. I was having a female emergency, and Sara told me she couldn't give me the code until I ordered. I have never had this experience at this location or any other Starbucks. I understand that it is probably policy, but it was just such a disheartening experience. She wasn't that kind about it, and I can promise that I will never again order from this location. She proceeded to go and ask someone (manager) if it was ok to give someone asking for a small cup of half n half. She came back to tell me, "we could sell it to you, if you want to get in line". One of my favorite starbucks location to go to! I purposefully go during off times to avoid the school crowd in the morning and the afternoon. They always make my drink correctly even when I add specific requests. I am a big fan of the seasonal drinks at starbucks, so after my obsession with the chestnut praline came to an end (not by my choice) they immediately rolled out the winter menu and now I am getting the Pistachio Latte every single day. I usually always get my drinks with extra topping, its one of my favorite parts of the drinks here. So the day it came out I was greeted by friendly staff and one of them recommended me to try a mix of match and pistachio the next time! The only issue is that when it does get busy, the staff skips steps. Today I ordered a pistachio latte and instead of looking for the topping to put on top I visibly saw the male worker give up on looking and just gave my drink as it, and like I said, I look forward to my extra topping request but he didnt bother to look for it. I probably should have asked for it regardless since it is a drink I am paying for and wanted to enjoy to the fullest, but I wasnt in the mood today to correct anyone, just slightly bummed about that! read more

I had to pee so bad (lol) so I asked the guy by the bathrooms if I could quickly use it before waiting in line. He said no, which is fine, but he didn't have to be rude about it. I purchased the drink and eventually got the code for the bathroom. The girl at the register was nicer than the guy so i'm adding an extra star for that but really don't think that guy should be here with that attitude. Because of him, it's also a no on the ambiance here and would instead recommend another location where service is not crap (pun intended lol). read more

Refreshing iced tea in Alhambra, California... Located on the corner of 1st Street and Main Street, I saw this convenient Starbucks next to our brunch meeting place (Popping Yolk Cafe). There was a long line for our restaurant, so I thought I should get my Bonus Stars at Starbucks first before waiting in line. This Alhambra Starbucks was calm and quiet inside. I had parked for free on a street nearby, so there was less stress. Haha! I looked at the merchandise, saw a Los Angeles tumbler that I had gotten in the past, and moved on. I ordered at the counter with my personal cup for 10 cents off and 25 Bonus Stars... yay! Mission accomplished! Use to really like this location but the quality in drink making has gone downhill. Not sure how you can mess up a caramel macchiato TWICE. First one I ordered this morning tasted like warm milk. Not one to enjoy having to take things back but was feeling a little courageous this morning. Politely asked if they can remake, understanding that mistakes happen & perhaps a step was skipped. Must have been same barista because the 2nd one tasted just like the first, except hotter and blander. I paid 6 bucks for a hot milk basically. Couldn't even get my little kids to drink it, who will normally drink anything Starbucks. Waist of time and money. I haven't been feeling great for the past few months, but especially after my MRI earlier this past week, my much awaited scan is going to be sometime in the next 3 weeks... I decided to take the pup to the backyard and at 9:35am it was already muggy and overly warm. I hurry up the pup, and we head back inside. 11:40 am I get the bright notion of trying the new Starbucks pineapple secret menu... item, and it is by far fantabulous! Wow... I remember being very little and my grandmother and mother taking my little brother and I to Disneyland and having me try their favorite beverage in the park... After going to a Starbucks that was listed open but ended up being closed for remodeling, this Starbucks came through in a clutch. It is located on busy Main Street where the street is lined up with restaurants so this location was remarkably busy. Regardless of the amount of patrons, the few baristas I talked to were very friendly and worked well under pressure. Lay out is your typical Starbucks with seating in the outside and seating indoors. There is ample room for accommodating long lines and people who are waiting for their order. My pumpkin cold brew was delicious and was made with efficiency. I have many memories at this Starbucks and the employees are always so fun! It is clean inside, nicely air conditioned, and always has a lot of business being in a great location! The outside tables are very convenient (especially with Covid safety) and there is usually enough for seating. Today, in particular, I took advantage of the half off TuesYay July deal and enjoyed the Paradise refresher! The barista who served me was super friendly and cheery and I definitely tipped for that! My local neighborhood Starbucks and frequent destination for our morning walks, especially on the weekend. Always fast and friendly service. I have never encountered any issues nor errors in my order. Most times I place a mobile order on the way over and it's ready at the counter upon my arrival. I appreciate the quality of service and that most of the staff make the effort for a little small talk. I had the worst experience at the Starbucks on May 14, 2025 around 5:15pm at starbucks on main st and 1st in Alhambra. i urgently had to use the restroom and i said id pay once i used the restroom . the worker refused to provide the code even though i said id use the restroom first then purchase something. i had to purchase a biscotti and ran to the bathroom. i didnt even bother taking the biscotti. No empathy. No more getting gift cards from them again for any occasion or patronizing Starbucks. read more

I got there at 6:45am and it was busy while waiting for my drink. Then I got my drink and I told the barista it was wrong drink so he made it correctly.
