Bona Time is just a fun place to go. They are so very nice there, the service is great and they are super fast. You can have your drink there or get it to go. I bet they also deliver, but I have never done that. The place is just so pretty. It is very clean and you will feel welcome there. The other customers are nice and I have never seen any drama there. Parking can be tiring, but you will find a spot. We love all their drinks. My favorite is there Thai Tee with Boba and there Caramel Einspanner. They also have bowls which are great. We love their Amazing Almond Bowl and their Tropical Bowl and we often stop and get that for dessert. You will love this place. read more

This review is strictly for the açai bowls. Not that I eat açai bowls all the time, but this was one of the best ones I've had in recent memory. I got the fusion which is a mix between the traditional and the pittaya flavors. It had a creamy texture with crunchy granola, bananas, coco flakes, strawberries, and blueberries on top. The honey was key because it made the entire bowl glisten. Parking is a pain just like everywhere else in ktown. Pay the valet attendant a dollar if you don't want to stress about it. read more

I come here at least two times a week, if not more. Partially because I live so close it, partially because I love the boba so much. My go-to is the Guava (green) iced tea with boba. Love this boba time! My second favorite after the location on Sunset. The inside is always super clean, there's plenty of seating, lots or parking, and access to a bathroom. If you want to work from your computer, it's a great alternative to a coffee shop. Plus they have macarons, cheesecake, and some savory food items in case you have a taste for more than a beverage. I always get the same thing at every Boba Time. Hokkaido milk tea, 75% less sweet, easy ice, with boba and lychee jelly. World's most perfect milk tea, and hits the spot every time. For some reason it tastes different when I go to different locations, but this location and the Sunset location are most likely to get it right each time. I appreciate that the lids are more environmentally friendly than they were a couple years ago. Yay, no plastic! The workers are usually friendly. I never have an issue with this location. read more

I often order drinks here for work (for a few years now) and I've never had a bad experience. They pack the drinks in these little coolers and they even throw in a packet of wipes to clean them off. My nephew puts them on C level but I feel that they are A. The reason being is you can customized your drink with sweet level and toppings, plus with such a HUGE menu, there is something for everyone. I have co-workers who prefer coffee or smoothies and they can get it here. I usually order through doordash or through the yelp app and drinks usually arrive within 30 mins or so. read more

This drink is only available at this location on Vermont in LA. It's Boba Time is like the OG of all boba chains so I had to get some of my old favorites for the nostalgia. Convenient location with easy parking on the weekdays, this is a great place to stop for boba if you're in a hurry but want a cool drink. The service is always fast, never friendly, but they're so efficient I don't care. The interior is always super clean too. The area itself is quite busy, but the lot is easy to get in and out of. We've never had an issue here. My only gripe is that the prices are a tiny bit higher than what I usually pay for boba, but it's LA, so it's to be expected. This Boba time location is always busy, and i meant busy! So i would suggest to order ahead via the app or online. I think they take phone orders but not 100% sure. I almost always get the cookies and cream shake but also the watermelon slush is soooo refreshing. The only down side of this place is not the actual location but the parking situation. After a certain time the parking lot is valet only, so it makes it hard to just stop by and pick up your order with out having to do all of that. It's on a busy cross street so street parking is also hard at times. read more

I ordered a mango banana smoothie with light boba and it was a good balance of flavors. The banana was not super strong but it still tasted delicious. The cashier was not the most helpful but she was nice and honest when asked about the flavors. They have a lot of seating inside which is great if you come with a group of people. "It's Boba Time" for a pick-me-up during my lunch break. Located at the corner of Vermont Ave & 7th Street, it's one of the only convenient boba spots that is close to the Wilshire/Vermont station. The ambiance is welcoming because of the eye-catching hashtag of their name and the spring green background with artificial plants. The entire cafe was super clean and well-maintained. There are two self-order kiosks to the right, however I preferred to order my drink at the cashier on the left hand side. I ordered a large Hokkaido Milk Tea with Almond Milk for $6.50 and it already comes with boba. Thankfully, there are dairy substitutes available including Almond, Oat or Soy Milk for a few cents more. Viviane N. at the cashier was super enthusiastic and welcoming and had me energized to get my boba fix. Within two minutes, I got my order. Before I took a sip, I did not think twice to take photos of my drink in front of the #itsbobatime hashtag. Upon taking my first sip, the taste reminded me of Sharetea's Hokkaido milk tea but better because it was not too sweet. The boba was chewy and its portions were generous enough for a large drink. Getting my Hokkaido Milk Tea with Almond Milk and boba satisfied my pick-me-up this afternoon. I'll definitely come back to try other drinks at this location! read more

Decided to walk over to the closest Boba Time to my work. Have not been to this location in over three years, last time I was here it was much smaller, but they definitely gave it an upgrade and there are so many tables and parking up front at around 2pm. Looks like the lunch hour rush has gone back to work, but they're still getting the afternoon break customers. They took care of me within five minutes. Definitely coming back to this spot since it's so clothes to my work. I ordered the hot Yuzu tea which is my go to drink. read more

Its Boba Time has always been a staple when visiting Southern California as they are conveniently everywhere. I appreciate how they use fresh fruits in their smoothies. This time around, the Avocado Matcha Smoothie was calling my name. It was not too sweet and quite creamy. Boba was unsweetened and I did not mind it; they were chewy and soft. The employees, while taking orders and running the kitchen, also came out from behind the counter and promptly asked the bum to leave. I was feeling very nervous about the bum being in here and am so relieved and thankful at the employees swift handling of the situation. I cant believe I dont have a review for this particular location of Boba Time! Ive been coming here for years whenever we needed a place to sit down and chat! Sometimes, I get a Boba Time craving. Yes, SGV has one of the best boba options ever but I find myself craving Boba Times here and there. Especially their Taro Slush. Dont ask me why but its pretty good, haha. During summer, I will always get myself Watermelon Juice and or even a bowl of shaved ice! I know Shaved Ice is all year round but it just tastes better in summer because of the heat we get here in California. Today, I got myself a good old misutgaru latte. Its english name is Mixed Grain Latte. Its roasty, toasty and semi-thick and makes you full too. It really is like a semi-meal replacement shake to me almost. They have a slush and also a hot one too. But I know other Boba Time locations always tell me that they cant do Iced version of Misutgaru and I dont know why! This location is the ONLY location that does this for me. So keep that in mind! One of their best sellers is the Cookies n' Cream slush which is also pretty good! I only get that when I really really crave it because its way too high calories for me, oops! All in all, customer service is always on point, drink comes out pretty fast even with the heavy traffic they have. Expect to wait in line to order almost throughout the whole day but line does move quick and their team work is excellent to serve you as fast as they can! read more
