    Greek Fries

Delicious food with generous portions. My friend and I wanted to try their pikilia but we were debating whether it would be too much for just the 2 of us and the waiter offered to serve half a serving for half the price instead! I'm not the biggest fan of beets but they were sooo good here and absolutely loved every single dip.

Overall it was good! Especially fried calamari was very delicious. Good to start with greek salad and move on to fried calamari and platters. The portions were big three of us can bring whole meal to go home after we finish.

Found this spot through Seamless. Service was on time, food average. The best thing I ordered was the gyro combo platter. The meat was flavorful and they gave plenty of pita. Fries were actually still crispy on arrival. The fries were really good. I ordered extra tzatziki which was a good choice since the platter doesn't come with a lot and it's also good for dipping fries. I was disappointed by the mac and cheese which was really bland. Also the veggie/tomato stew thing (briam) I ordered wasn't that great either. I had to smother them in feta and salt to taste like anything. If I order from here again, I will stick to the meats. It was also a little pricier but it did end up having big portions.

This is an upscale location for one of the IGTM franchise stores -- the owner (Paul) has been serving up "stick to your ribs" Greek food at this very spot for 23 years. Remarkable that any restaurant could survive that long in Ridgewood, which flips food joints like flapjacks. I suspect the fact that the restaurant owns the real estate and has some fanatically loyal employees and patrons accounts for its longevity. Paul (the owner) is well known locally for philanthropic work and some dabbling in State politics. He is also a charming and gracious host -- which made our serendipitous meal here the other night that much more terrific. The food was good too. I'm partial to pulpo -- and we ordered a large Greek salad dressed with it. The pulpo was tender -- maybe overly so -- I think it sat in marinade a bit too long resulting in a slightly mushy texture. Could have used a bit more char from the grill to balance the texture -- but the flavor was spot on. Their thickened lemon chicken soup is stellar -- plenty of orzo, chunks of chicken and veggies with crisp lemony flavor in every bite. This is Greek comfort food -- and one bowl is huge -- almost a meal for two. We couldn't finish it. Alongside the salad we stuck with appetizers -- crisply fried eggplant slices with tzatziki sauce was addictive -- a rif on potato chips and dip. The cold eggplant spread // a version of babaganoush -- surprised me with it's pronounced sweetness. I expected savory. The pita triangles and a side of Greek fries went well with spread. I picked at it all night long. It's BYO and they sell very approachable wine by the bottle. Sweetie drank a very smooth 2008 split of Barbera -- fairly priced at $18 bucks. I stuck with my Belgian ale. I've driven past this spot hundreds of times. Literally. Glad we finally stopped in -- mostly on the strength of our experience at the Clifton store -- which is one of 9 locations. Not sure whether this is a franchised store or not -- but it doesn't matter. It's local for us and the quality is there. IGTM--Ridgewood is always packed on weekends, offering sidewalk dining and a veranda style front room that is wide open to the sidewalk -- which is where we ate on a rainy evening. Both are good perches for people watching. Pricing is about market for Ridgewood -- for what is basically good Greek diner style food. The menu is big -- with lamb and fish and all sorts of specialties that you would expect at a diner in, say, Astoria Queens. And while it was a slow Tuesday night when we visited, service was impeccable and unobtrusive. Glad to finally connect here. Enough variety to suit anyone who enjoys Mediterranean food. We will return to try the Bronzino and some lamb next trip. TBC. Top Tip: Portions are huge so order accordingly -- unless leftovers are your thing. We enjoyed them for a couple days.

You can't go wrong with its Greek to me. A good spot if you're looking to have lunch, dinner or go on a date. As a pescatarian I found menu options easy which can be hard at Greek restaurants. I ordered a salmon dish that came with rice. Salmon was fresh and they weren't skimping on the fish. The food was good but I'm also not dying to go back. It's reliable, you can't go wrong.

Burnt Spanakopita, 54 dollars went to garbage can

Burnt spanakopita, they refused to refund Uber eats. I called the manager, he was rude. In other words, too bad. Never again. The worst Greek food ever. I had to post one star just to write the review.

Well protected and ready for takeouts or eat in options Gracias Orlando

Love the rice pudding, a fave of Dad. Great dips, pita, mousaka, grilled octopus and more. Sat on terrace but the greenhouses look great and are cozy. Thanks. Paul & crew at IGTM! How is the Imam Baldi ? Is it only (from too much olive oil) or is it "baked-baked" with just tomato sauce?

We came shortly after they opened at 11:30 and there was only one other family dining there the entire time we were there. We had: -Assortment of three spreads - hummus, tzatziki, and skordalia (potato, garlic, olive oil). We originally wanted to get the roasted eggplant but they said they hadn't made it yet. All the spreads were fine - nothing special about it. It comes with some pita bread for dipping. Next, we had some grilled halloumi -Avgolemono Soup - comforting on a cloudy day. Even my toddler enjoyed it and she doesn't usually like meat but ate a few chunks of the chicken -Grilled Halloumi (with fig jam) - this was a little oily and very salty. I did like the fig jam with it but $17.95 for a chunk of cheese is pretty pricey -Gyro Combo Platter (pork, chicken, and lamb gyro served with fries, pita, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki) - I missed where the menu said it's served with tzatziki because then I probably wouldn't have ordered the assortment of spreads. The pork was chewy, and the chicken was dry, but the lamb was good. They did have a nice flavor though. Again, my daughter who doesn't like meat even ate some of the chicken and the lamb. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, especially since there were really only two things we really liked. But if you do visit, I'd recommend just getting the lamb gyro. Tip - BYOB

We placed a $330 takeout order and were given a pickup time. When I arrived, the place was about 70% full and completely chaotic. You could feel it right away. A young server, clearly his first day, was trying his best, but there wasn't enough support. The owner was yelling at him and another waitress instead of managing the situation. Customers were getting up and leaving, others were frustrated and waiting with no direction. This wasn't a staffing issue alone, it was a leadership issue. No organization, no control of the front end, and blame being pushed onto employees instead of stepping in and running the room. We ended up waiting an hour and a half past the promised pickup time. When the food finally came out, I asked if everything was there, and got a quick, dismissive "yes." Got home and realized nearly half the order was missing. Called multiple times, no answer. I don't write reviews like this, but this was easily the worst takeout experience we've had anywhere. And judging by what I saw, we weren't the only ones. It's a shame, because the food has been good. But if they don't fix how this place is run, they're going to lose customers fast.

The gentleman asked me if I wanted "white sauce" on my Gyro. Ok wait... It's tzatziki sauce!!! How can you be a Gyro place and call it white sauce??? Ok... I'm watching him put it together and a guy from the back brings this skillet out and instead of the traditional long strips of Gyro meat, they were crumbled up almost like ground beef or ground sausage. I'm not sure what the thinking was on preparing it that way but it makes for a big, hot mess when you were trying to eat it. Pieces of crumbled meat EVERYWHERE. They put the tzatziki sauce on from a squeeze tube. Now, I've had some good gyros and real tzatziki sauce is thicker in consistency. This was like mayonnaise. The flavor all around was below average at best. The workers in there were polite and really were trying, parking is plentiful and the establishment is clean.
