Today happened to be the weekly special at La Bella Pizza in Ridgewood. We got 2 pies with extra sauce for $25.50. Without extra sauce they're $20 for two large pies every Thursday. The pie crust was nicely cooked - pleasantly chewy with a nice, crispy bottom. Good amount of cheese and sauce. The sauce was very simple, tasting like straight tomato sauce without the embellishment of many herbs and spices. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6.5. Definitely worth a future visit, especially for the Thursday special. read more

This is A+ pizzeria pizza. Cheese pie: the sauce has a lot of Italian spices in it, making it way more flavorful than the average pizzeria sauce. The cheese is perfectly cooked with little brown spots in all the right places. The crust was crispy (but not burnt) with little bubbles on the bottom. Truly a great pizzeria pie. This is the true reason for the 5 stars! Grandma pie: this is what I had heard everyone comes for. The sauce is GREAT -- perfect amount of garlic and chunkiness. Awesome flavor. But, I would give this 4 stars because the crust was very crispy all the way through, and I like a little fluffiness in my square pies, even if they're not Sicilian. This was suuuper crispy. Terrific specialty slices for a great price! La Bella has been our go to spot for Friday night pizza and most are very delicious!

Tried this pizza for the first time and it was pretty good! Ut could have been cooked a little longer but the sauce was very tasty. Their Caesar salad was delicious. They were also very fast with having the food ready. read more

I was lucky to find this place as I was in the area with four coworkers this week. We were very close to just going to the same old place that they like to go for lunch. I said let's try this pizza place, old habits die hard so it was a struggle to get them to change their minds and actually try something new for once. Well, the friendly service and delicious pizza won them over. We left with a stack of menus to bring to our office and we confirmed that they would deliver to our office in Paramus. I am so happy because my Sicilian slice was absolutely delicious. In north jersey, there is only room for good pizza. I am very grateful that we found a new place. Pizza is Ok. I won't recommend the Wings, no breading, seasoning, coating, nothin. Just dropped in a fryer. Your sauce of choice served in a small cup separately, not enough for even half of the order of the 10 wings. Just not appetizing. read more

This is great pizza!! Hate to tout another app here but OneBite directed my attention to this place as it garnered really high marks there and I'm so happy it did. Got a bunch of different slices to sample the menu and every single one was great Crust was top notch, perfect crunch to soft ratio and no flop. Highest marks go to the grandma slice, the white slice, and eggplant ricotta slice, but all were good. Guy working there, who I presume was the owner, was so nice as well. La Bella has an amazing Grandma's pizza; crispy crust, super cheesy and lots of flavor! The only thing I would suggest slightly changing about it is the salt content. If it wasn't so salty it would be absolutely perfect! We also got a Bruschetta slice, Margherita slice and Veggie slice as a "sampler" to check out some of the other pizza varieties without having to order a whole pie. If you love garlic, you will love the bruschetta pizza. It was my second favorite after the Grandma's. Margherita was ok but kind of dry and veggie pizza would be excellent minus the broccoli (or if the broccoli was a little more cooked). Garlic knots from here are also a must! Life hack: dip the crispy pizza crust from the Grandma's pizza into the marinara sauce that comes with the garlic knots. Or just drink it (yes, it's that good). read more

Let me preface this by saying I've had really positive experiences here before but something was off with my lunch today. Ordered two meatball subs which were not great. Meatballs were not soft and not particularly flavorful. Marinara tased like warmed up crushed tomatoes. I suppose most people would rate these subs "ok", but for $28 this lunch was not a value. read more

Been here twice. First time, I had some sort of a thin sliced potato topped grandma slice. Tonight, I had a jalapeño/pepperoni grandma slice (outstanding!) with some serious spice. Both excellent. These guys are on the cutting edge of some high innovation outside the box specialty grandma slices. read more

We called to order delivery and there was no answer for a while. We Cale's a couple of times. But once ordered delivery came on time, maybe 10 minutes late. The chicken tenders were pretty good. They came with honey mustard sauce. The ziti was good too and the garlic bread. We also got plain pizza, sausage and pepperoni. Overall pizza was pretty plain and not crispy. We needed to add spices to it. Prices were average. read more

Tried it for the first time and absolutely delicious! Sauce was flavorful! Crust was thin but crunchy. The whole house loved it! This will become our new go to! I ordered when I arrived and while I waited for three pizzas, I was impressed with the service for myself and as others came and went. First they let me change my order after I paid with just a nod and a smile. Secondly, the gentleman making pizzas, while constantly working, remembered and acknowledged every customer. We love La Bella! The margherita and grandma pies are always good. Definitely try the eggplant sandwiches.. they're always a hit with our family. They had to close briefly at the beginning of the pandemic and we're so happy they were able to reopen. read more

I would avoid ordering from this restaurant. Their delivery takes forever and items arrive cold. Food was missing from my order (delivery) and the restaurant refused to give me a refund. They told me I needed to go to the restaurant to pick up the missing food. What's the point of ordering delivery if you need to go pick up the food? I ended up being charged for items i did not receive. read more

Horrible overall experience. Messed our order up, and then tried to tell us it was our fault. Coworkers were arguing for at least 10 minutes, made us extremely uncomfortable. We were in the restaurant for half an hour for them to make one sandwich. It got to the point where we were just about to leave because the atmosphere was so bad. read more

Our pizzas were made with so much love that we forgot to take a picture. My gluten free crust was super crunchy, unlike most gluten free crusts. The regular crust Margherita we ordered was delicious too. read more

I just tried the "grandmother's pie" which a a square pie. It is thinner than the traditional Sicilian pie you find around here and the crust was crisp on the edges. The tomato sauce was excellent - it tasted like it was made with San Marzano tomatoes. There was ample cheese, and it was of good quality that did not separate. I will be going back again. read more

Let me start off by saying that the additional star ( I was going to give a one) is simply because the delivery time wasn't too long. Okay. So I've never eaten from La Bella before and my boyfriend and I were hungry so I decided to look up their menu on Seamless.com. I saw that they had a BBQ Chicken Pizza and the description below listed it including a "tangy bbq sauce, red onion & cilantro" I was sold! That sounded delicious. So I called them up and ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza along with a chef salad with creamy Italian dressing on the side. It took them about 35 minutes to deliver my order. Not bad all all. I open up my pizza and low & behold there are NO red onions & NO cilantro. I was so disappointed!!! I called them up and requested to speak to a manager. I thought maybe they mixed my order up honestly. The manager told me that the cilantro wasn't included because "a lot of people don't like cilantro" SO WHY IS IT DESCRIBED THIS WAY?!?! he then insisted that the red onions were in there just "finely chopped" I mean cmon! I'm no idiot. There's RED onions for Christs sake no matter how finely chopped they are id still be able to see them. He apologized but didn't help me whatsoever. I honestly would've appreciated another pizza be made the way that I ordered it!! Anyway I ate my miserable pizza that had no taste of red onion!!! And guess what? They're "tangy bbq sauce" was nothing special. It was basically a bland sauceless cheese pizza with grilled chicken and a few measly droplets of mediocre bbq sauce. As for my Chef Salad goes. It was "meh" the "creamy Italian" dressing tastes as if they got store bought Italian dressing and threw some heavy cream in there and called it a day. The margarita pizza is amazing and the garlic knots incredible. The flavor is savory and the food is filling. Pizza crust is crunch but also has a smooth texture to it. All the employees are super nice I highly recommend. read more

Ordered delivery. Came at a reasonable time however the meatballs on the meatball sandwich were pink in the middle and under cooked, and the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce was extremely chewy and basically non edible. Ordered chicken tenders and fries as well and the fries were EXTREMELY salty and there were barely any in the container like someone just threw them in and didn't care.
