    Cherry rice in the back.

The grilled meat dishes are delicious. Their cherry rice is addictive. Even though their entrees come with rice, I have to order it separately every time I am there. Super friendly services.

I had a pretty nice experience here despite the pricey check I paid haha. I ordered the beef and chicken kabob with rice, cucumber yogurt starter, lentil soup, and some bread. btw the bread they serve is seriously.... WOW we ordered another side of it because it was so good. I loved how fresh everything tasted except the beef kabob was a bit chewy and dry. The rice was also decent, it felt like it was left out though and not heated up enough. Im glad I tried a new spot and recommend it for anyone wanting to try new flavors.

Ordered takeout lunch for a client. Decent food but you don't get much to eat other than rice! Now the rice is good, but I don't see much value for the money. Prices are way too high for what you get. Salmon "kabob" is a total ripoff! Maybe prices are high because it's in Ridgewood, but whatever the reason, I'll look elsewhere before coming back.

Good stuff for a healthy and filling meal right here! I had a to go lunch special: chicken kebab that came with rice and a roasted tomato. The chicken and the rice were pretty good, and I'm always happy when there's a decent amount of non chewy chicken. However, the white and hot sauce are supposed to make a world of difference, and they don't. Both were very bland, and the hot sauce had no kick. Personally, this is what would stop me from coming back because both sauces should be adding another level of flavor. Staff was extremely friendly, and there was plenty of distanced seating for small or large groups. The lunch special was about $12, and it came with a drink, so it's a bargain for the area.

We found this place randomly on our way home. We thought it was a small place but when we walked in and noticed how nice it is and the lady was so nice so we decided to dine in. Food was great! I have ate Persian food and it's dry but this was just WOW so darn good. The service was just a icy on cake and quick and nice and helpful. Thank you. Will be back!

The food was okay, i liked their chicken but it was not worth the money(3 starts) The service very nice and the server was amazing before we got our check. Me and my boyfriend were recommended this place by a friend. Went got a table right away, due to the place being empty. Perfect! This place is BYOB and we brought 4 beers with us, we asked the server if that okay and he said it was no problem at all. Perfect! We were eating and enjoyed our time. I had to use the restroom that's when everything went off the cliff. My boyfriend went to pay the bill at the front desk, paid in cash, received around 20$ all in 1's, went back to the table waiting for me, then the server comes up to the table harassing him and asking where is his tip. Mind you that we did not finish eating or packed the left overs, so obviously we were not leaving right away. He brought up how hard he works for 6$ an hour with a PhD at a restaurant and that he must tip him and that he's generous that he did not charge us for bringing alcohol or made the gratuity mandatory. As he's at the table i come back and I did not know any of this humiliation happened and i ask for a container to pack my food, my boyfriend is quiet and tells we have to go and i see him leave 2 dollars on the table. I was outraged because we both work in restaurants and that was odd for him, he tells me he'll explain later and i trusted the process bc the service was great even he said it before i left so there must of been something that ticked him off. As we walk out the restaurant the server FOLLOWED us, grabbed by arm, giving and holding onto me trying to talk and then give the money back and saying he has a PhD and that he doesn't deserve how my boyfriend treated him. My bf went instantly into protective mode and told the guy to f off. The guy kept yelling things at me while i went to the car. This is outrageous this guy is crazy and needs to get checked.

The service is very attentive. Right when we sat down the host gave us water which was nice. The waiter was a little too attentive, kept coming up to us to ask if we were ready to order when we were not, and just kept coming and coming every two minutes. They give complimentary flat bread which is tasty. Our Persian friend mentioned usually Persian restaurants give the bread with herbs and feta rather than just plain. We did find on the menu the herbs and feta was an extra cost. We had the kebab combo and subbed cherry rice and salad (which is cucumbers and tomatoes) and also exchanged the ground chicken kebab for a chicken breast kebab. The standout was the steak kebab and the cherry rice. There were so many cherries in the rice, and it was both sweet and savory. I couldn't stop eating it. The steak was super juicy and well seasoned. I also really like the roasted tomato on the side, basil and pickled cabbage. We ordered a stew, think it was Ghormeh sabzi. It had a bunch of herbs in it, and beans and a dried lime. Was told not to eat the lime. It was a very strong and rich stew, I took a couple of bites. Don't think I could have eaten the whole thing. It's very strong. It's our friend's favorite Persian dish and she loved it. There was one dish we wanted that they ran out of but they gave us a couple of dollars off the bill which was nice. I do wish the servers were Persian so I could order in farsi but there was no communication issues so it's fine. We ordered a couple things so we could try a bit of every thing. The kebab platter came with koobideh, barg and chicken with subbed the white rice for cherry rice which turned out to be the star of the show. Even as a Persian, I have never had that rice before.Somehow, and it quickly became delicious. And I immediately text my mom and asked her why she had never made it for me lol We also got ghormeh sabzi which as I told my friends can be hit or miss in flavor and if they would actually like a stew like this. They both actually enjoyed it, and I thought it was pretty close to my mom's recipe. The only sad thing was that we ordered tahdig but the table next to us had ordered 2 large plates and they had no more, which was odd given it was only 1pm and the restaurant opens at 11am. Overall good experience, love that they played Persian music to give it a real deal feel. Will be back!

One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Tino's Artichoke is a tasty start - an artichoke dip with feta and sun-dried tomatoes served with pita chips. We'll usually get the mixed grill (but subbing lamb in for the beef, way more flavor). Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.

We placed a $330 takeout order and were given a pickup time. When I arrived, the place was about 70% full and completely chaotic. You could feel it right away. A young server, clearly his first day, was trying his best, but there wasn't enough support. The owner was yelling at him and another waitress instead of managing the situation. Customers were getting up and leaving, others were frustrated and waiting with no direction. This wasn't a staffing issue alone, it was a leadership issue. No organization, no control of the front end, and blame being pushed onto employees instead of stepping in and running the room. We ended up waiting an hour and a half past the promised pickup time. When the food finally came out, I asked if everything was there, and got a quick, dismissive "yes." Got home and realized nearly half the order was missing. Called multiple times, no answer. I don't write reviews like this, but this was easily the worst takeout experience we've had anywhere. And judging by what I saw, we weren't the only ones. It's a shame, because the food has been good. But if they don't fix how this place is run, they're going to lose customers fast.
