Visited Its It outlet on Saturday. To the young girl at the window I requested a dozen - 2 cappuccinos, 4 strawberries and the rest mint. When the young girl handed me the dozen in the bag, I took strawberry from the top, handed it to my daughter and proceeded on our way. Today, being Monday, I went into my freezer to grab myself a cappuccino from the bag of a dozen packed by a staffer at Its It. Since I only ordered two cappuccinos, I had to pull the bag out to search for a cappuccino. To my surprise there is vanilla in the bag. NEVER BEFORE have I taken the time to check the bag to ensure my order was accurate - it always has been. The receipt circles the quantity purchased (mine is always 12) and provides the quantity of each requested next to each flavor ordered. This time on my receipt, for the first time, only 2 flavors requested had a quantity - 4 strawberry (as seen in the image), 2 cappuccino and nothing to account for the remaining 6. I would not have an issue with the mistake if it was a flavor anyone in my household ate or even enjoyed. Vanilla is the one flavor we never purchase or entertain, even if it's the only It's It flavor available we choose a different option. I am so highly disappointed. I know mistakes happen but there is a reason for the system It's It developed and practices. Staff mark the quantity of each flavor requested on the receipt provided to the customer and reviews the quantity and selection prior to moving on to grab those quantities to provide to the customer. I have gotten so spoiled that the absence of these steps was noticed but disregarded based on my prior interactions and transactions. Never again! From now on I will ensure my order is accurate prior to leaving from the order window. What a waste! We'll be back in two weeks, not sure if It's It will be a stop made per our usual routine. I had known this place was out here but had not known it was so close to Suisun. I had made it a point to stop by after lunch. It was a quick and easy process to order at a window and they had a fewer options. $15 for 12 sandwiches. I had bought 4x Cappucinos/ 4x Green Teas/ and 4x Mint sandwiches. Take note that it's window service only, so you can't actually enter the shop. You talk to an employee on the other side of a window. No biggie, but you aren't able to just waltz in and browse. The jovial, pleasant woman working the day I visited couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The store sells several flavors of the famous It's-It ice cream sandwiches, including the hard-to-find pumpkin and cappuccino flavors. (Heck, I can't even find the original ice cream flavors here in Southern Nevada). I love coming here because I can always find flavors that aren't sold in stores. My too favorite flavor is the pumpkin. I want to try the green tea flavor as well, but they never seem to have it. Whenever a heat wave hits, I make sure to stop by this location and full up for the summer. Their prices are reasonable and I can also get extra goodies such as their yummy bagel dogs! Asked our son what he wanted for his birthday and he says mint it's it's. Well we live in Indiana and they do not sell it's it's here or anywhere near us. Fast forward and few months, my husband & I are going to CA to visit family/friends and I get this wild idea to bring home some it's it's to our Son. I called the store spoke to Christina and she was so helpful and said she would help us any way she could. A few days ago while we were in town we stopped by the outlet store, Christina was there, yeah! We brought a styrofoam container with us, purchased some dry ice, packed up the it's it's taped the box up, crossed our fingers. I jumped at the chance as I've seen it in Suisun since I've lived in the area but never gone. I pulled up right before 5pm and they still have a COVID window set up. Everything is clearly priced out in the window and you walk up to a table/order window. The gentleman in front of me order a dozen It's It in all sorts of flavors. I only noticed it was $2.00 for one It's It because I was on a cookie dough mission. The cookie dough is $12/box and a box has 40 small/average sized cookies. They are NOT as big as the It's It cookies.. you can see some of their pre baked ones for sale in the window. I ended up getting 10 boxes (2 chocolate chip, 2 oatmeal raisin, 2 white chocolate chip macadamia nut, 2 peanut butter, 2 snickerdoodle) but was accidentally charged for 12 boxes. She couldn't figure out how to do the refund to my work card (and I couldn't accept cash back) so I grabbed two more of their new flavors for our employees (1 triple chocolate blonde with Hershey's Mini Kisses® and 1 toffee chocolate chip with Heath ®). The Ice Cream itself, top notch. ALL the flavors you want (plus pumpkin for the season) The strawberry and the chips-it, awesome. Easily accessible and parking right in front makes it convenient. Overall the experience was well worth it. I grabbed her and literally drug her to the car to take me there. The storefront has a black awning that says, "Family Cookie Co." on it. But thee's a huge picture of an It's It in the window. It's a small little outlet store that sells It's It, Big Daddy, Super Sundae, and other items I can't remember because I was SO fixated on the It's It! And at a buck fifty per, it's the deal of the century! But people, the real excitement is you can actually buy a case of It's It! A CASE OF IT'S IT!!!! The case price brings each one to under a buck each! I can't even begin to tell you just how freaking excited I am. The bottom line? I'm going to go back with a huge freezer chest and a ton of dry ice and buy the place out. Then I'm going to sit on the floor and eat how ever many I can before I pass out or go into a sugar coma. This is a pretty basic storefront in an industrial area that sells exclusively the ice cream products. There are a bunch of freezers out front and you can pick either an individual product or a package of many. They have boxes that you can use if you want to pick out a bunch of different ones to purchase. The day I was there, a whiteboard indicated they were running a great sampler deal if you buy a set of treats for $12. The owner explained that they make the oatmeal cookies next door, then ship them off to the peninsula where they are immersed in ice cream. I purchased a mint flavored treat and gave it a try. Wow these are really excellent! I can completely understand why these treats have such a following. Well, I was glad I stopped by. And now I know what all the fuss is about!
