The combo is a better value - each dish is too expensive by itself - even though it might be smaller portion than ordering it by itself; I still think it had a decent amount. I ordered the #34 Combo of the Short Rib + Tofu Soup (Seafood) $33.95. If you order the beef by itself, though, it's $33.95! The soup was good too. #32 Spicy Buckwheat Noodle $18.95 I liked how super cold chilled the noodles were. It's refreshing with a little kick. #27 Bulgogi Stone Pot Bibimbop $21.95 I should NOT have ordered this one. The bibimbop was honestly whatever and not worth that price. The service wasn't that great, though. They never checked on our table. The banchan (side dishes) were just okay. Not all side dishes are refillable. You have to order one order per person to refill side dishes (so if you have 4 people, you need to order at least 4 dishes). Personally, we shouldn't have forced ourselves to order another plate to get the refill. I can see why this place gets busy/popular, though. Despite the menu stating there's one refill per minimum order, they didn't allow any refills. The tofu soup was alright but I like the flavor and quality of BCD's tofu soup more. Prices here are also $1-$3 more expensive than BCD. I came here to avoid the wait at BCD, but now I realize the wait is worth it. Even though BCD is super busy, they always provide excellent service.
