First time here! The sandwiches and Doritos were very fresh, savory, crunchy, flavorful, and delicious. Also, there was good service, nice atmosphere, and I had an excellent experience today.

Definitely a no frills sandwich place. Sometimes you just want a classic sandwich, nothing bougie, no fancy sauces or bread...just a good ol fashion sandwich. That's what you get here. The ingredients were fresh and my squaw bread was so soft! I also like that they carry the "dirty" brand of potato chips. Service is also incredibly friendly. Parking in this plaza sucks.

Saw all the amazing reviews so decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered online for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes (maybe even less) before 12pm. Short line inside to pick up and the woman working was so nice to everyone. It was very small inside with a couple tables so I'll most likely be ordering to go all the time. I got the turkey pesto wrap and a strawberry banana smoothie. The banana smoothie was delicious! I'd definitely order that again. I will probably skip the turkey pesto wrap next time as it just had a kind of off-putting flavor. It said it came with Swiss cheese but there was like cheddar or fiesta blend or something, but not Swiss and it kind of ruined it for me? Either way it was okay and I'd love to come back to try something different. The flavors all tasted fresh so I'm sure other things are more delicious. Definitely worth trying!

Amazing food and deli! Fresh, healthy ingredients and everything is so good here! Highly recommend and found my new favorite breakfast/lunch spot!

This was so delicious!! The veggies were fresh, the honey mustard sauce was good, and the service was wonderful. I've never had a chicken sandwich on a croissant before and I will be back for more! Very good spot for a solid sandwich.

Sue is such a wonderful light in the morning!!! She has a wonderful smile and always greets you with such positive energy!!! It'z-A-Deli should be your go to breakfast hub because Sue and the gentleman who works in the kitchen bring love to the breakfast table. Anything I've ordered here has never disappointed my palette!!! I always enjoy the music here as I enjoy my meal and get hyped up for the day!!! Thank you Sue for your kindness to your customers...I feel like I am home every time I walk in and nothing beats the comfort of home!!!

Tried this deli out for the first time & service was fast & friendly. The chicken cordon blue sandwich was way better than I could've hoped for. Definitely will eat here again.

We originally found it through Yelp and saw people raving about the homemade food and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Denver omelet and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly airy and creamy without being runny. The flavor was simple but spot on and the avocado paired really well with it. Nothing felt off or overdone. We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion. Huge props to Forest Cafe. I would absolutely recommend it. A great little brunch and breakfast spot and definitely a place we will be coming back to.

5 stars for the goma matcha latte and milk bread with crunchy pearls!…read more The goma matcha latte 5/5 had a black sesame paste that was like the black sesame version of smooth peanut butter! One could probably eat it by the spoonful! Such a complex flavor complement to the matcha latte. The matcha latte (4/5) felt fairly strong (I estimate 4g at least), and the mango puree tasted real/ fresh but was nothing special. However, I did like that it was not too sweet. Caveat: I am partial to mango/coconut milk or mango sticky rice matcha lattes. The goma matcha was worth the $8 pricetag. Tip: Matcha Mondays=10% off matcha drinks! The mango one maybe was worth it due to the amount of matcha, but I do feel like I could make it at home. The milk bread ($5.50) was soft, with a delightful bursting sweet cream filling topped with those shite pearly crunchies-- unique and delicious. I also loved the kinako an pan (sweet bread with red bean filling, $5.50) because of the nostalgic flavors, but also because the azuki bean had a nice crunchy sugar quality. It was on the drier side the day after purchase, but I enjoyed it. Service was cheerful and speedy. The space is pretty large with probably as much outdoor seating as indoor, and there were a few open spots at 1:30 on a Monday. Parking was plentiful in the shared plaza lot with some shady spots. I would drive back just for that goma matcha latte!! Also to try a few other breads or for a nice friend date spot to sit outside.

The mango cream bread had a good amount of cream and the filling was delicious. The chocolate cookie was good but so hefty. I ordered the matcha cheesecake and original cheesecake thinking it was the soft and fluffy texture but it had a thick consistency. The matcha was good with a very strong matcha flavor and the original had a slight lemon flavor. I enjoyed all the food and sweets here, but a bit disappointed with their drink portion.

I also had it with a side of toasted sourdough. It had hit the spot for a breakfast plate and the price was very reasonable compared to other breakfast spots. The portions I feel were perfect. I took leftovers home (hash browns wise). I can't wait to come back with more family and friends and be able to just indulge in the yummy items of their menu. 11/10 for me.
