My visit last week with Piper was great and just what I needed! I got the farmhouse pedi ($75) with regular polish. She was the sweetest and one of the most gentlest techs I've worked with. I mentioned how I've been getting calf cramps/charley horses this trimester and she took her time massaging my calves by hand and with a mini hypervolt. I looked on Yelp and this one was about 11 mins away from my home. So I booked a same day appointment online and it got approved right away, thankfully! The place was busy but they had enough nail techs to serve everyone. It wasn't a long wait either after checking in. I got an acrylic full set and a pedicure. There was 2 ladies working on me which killed time of course. But I loved it. I felt relaxed and pampered. They did an awesome job with my nails even though it's soooo simple. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, and the quality of the nail work was below what I have come to expect. After I got home and took a closer look, I noticed that my toenails were trimmed unevenly and lacked a consistent shape. My manicure had similar issues, with uneven nails and less attention to detail than I would expect from a professional salon. The massage portion of the pedicure was enjoyable and well done, but the nail care itself was not up to the level I was hoping for, which was the main reason for my visit. With so many excellent nail salons to choose from in Las Vegas, I do not think I will be returning. Spending over $70 plus a tip for this level of service did not feel worthwhile. I hope they place more emphasis on consistency and quality in their nail services going forward.
