I've been a fan and IWC owner for many years, but hadn't actually bought one of their timepieces for quite a few years until I visited this boutique. Haig gave me the most excellent service doing maintenance on two of my watches. He was so friendly and professional with such good communication that it actually tipped the scales and I picked up a nice watch that I've been enjoying ever since. I've visited Haig since and each time he is so welcoming and helpful that I now consider IWC a brand that I keep up with on the regular. I just am waiting for them to make more thinner models like the new Ingeneur and that'll give me more options to choose from. We stopped by here this last weekend just to look around, window shop if you will. We were greeted very warmly by all of the staff at the IWC boutique. My husband was interested in a couple different watches. Haig, was our assistant, and he helped my husband with the different selections. He answered all the questions and narrowed the selection down to two different Big Pilot watches, one being limited edition. He was patient, attentive, very enthusiastic about the IWC brand. Just a really great guy! Very personable! We couldn't decide about the watches and it was somewhat of a big purchase, so Haig offered to put the watches on hold for us, so that we could think about it and get back to him. No sales pressure at all. We decided that evening and the next day, we returned. The store was closing earlier than normal due to the holiday, but the staff, stayed behind and waited for us to arrive...I mean...come on...how cool is that? Upon arrival, they offered us champagne, espresso ( Zoey made them), and all in all, made us feel incredibly special. We had the whole store to ourselves to enjoy our purchase. There was no rushing. Zoey, was assisting Haig and she was so kind, and in one word, lovely. It felt like we were very important to them. Haig and my husband really seem to enjoy their conversations to do with the IWC brand. My husband is so impressed with the service, brand, and watch that we now are going to buy a second limited edition watch that they ordered for us and are having it shipped from overseas. Haig called my husband several times to keep him updated and invited us back to the private party they are hosting. I just think the service at this store are impeccable. The employees are exceptional! Other companies, would do well, to take a page out of their book. The customer is always right is truly their mantra here. I can't recommend enough. The watches are exquisite timepieces that are worth the investment. In my opinion, they way surpassed Rolex...but that's just me. Update- Haig called to check to see if we took delivery of the watch and how we were liking it. So caring. It was a real cheery spot in my day to hear from him as I had been dealing with a different business that was just awful to me. I love IWC watches and have always wanted a big pilot, but never was able to afford one. I have been fortunate, and finally able to afford such watches as a Rolex Submariner for myself, Sea Dweller for my wife, and a Milgauss for my daughter, but the Big Pilot has always called my name. As background, in 2002, when IWC brought back the Big Pilot to retail, I visited a watch shop in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, and insde that high end watch store, I fell in love with an unaffordable (for me) brand spanking new 5002 Big Pilot in stainless steel on a rugged brown buffalo strap with white stitching. Under those bright lights, the Big Pilot was large, simple, legible and commanding! As I said before, I couldn't afford the price at the time, so I sadly left without the watch. What I didn't realize until recently is that the IWC Big Pilot 5002 that John Mayer worn for years on tour was that same exact watch, which he purchased from that same Forum Shop in 2002. So, back to Beverly Hills, the IWC boutique looked so inviting, so while my wife and daughter went to another store, I went inside to see if the "new" Big Pilot was as cool as the original 5002. As soon as I went inside, I was greeted by Haig, who I asked if he could direct me to the Big Pilots. He first directed me to the titanium version (501004), which was very close to the 5002. What a beauty! Haig then asked if I wanted to see the bronze version. Bronze - how cool, yes, I'd love to see it. Haig was assisted by Zoey, who was also very professional and incredibly helpful. Haig brought the bronze version (501005), which was even nicer to me and limited to 1500 pieces. I asked the price and was told that both the titanium and bronze were the same price (hard to believe, but true). I wanted the bronze one. Though the entire process, Haig and Zoey were very helpful and knowledgable and could not have been nicer. They showed me other watches and all the strap combinations they had for the Big Pilot to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was a big decision, so I asked them to hold the watch until the next day, when I would make my decision. Next day, they stayed open for an hour past closing to take care of us to make sure we were completely satisfied. I got exactly the watch I wanted, two additional straps, clasps and buckles to match. Because the watch needed to be shipped, they remained involved the entire time after the sale including shipping two days later (due to holiday weekend), calling me with tracking numbers, and then calling me on the day it arrived to make sure I got it in perfect shape, which I did. I would highly recommend IWC, the Big Pilot and especially Haig and Zoey to anyone looking for a precision Swiss timepiece. read more

Exceptional service and value. I bought a vintage "birth year" Rolex from IWC and immediately had it assessed by a certified Rolex specialist who confirmed its authenticity and then told me the watch was worth about double what I'd paid. He offered to buy it on the spot (I declined...I like the watch too much.) IWC assisted in servicing of this watch and provided excellent support throughout. I drove 2hrs to look at watches on Rodeo and although I really liked what I was seeing at IWC the salesman there made it super obvious he didn't really want me in the store. I wasn't dressed sharp having just came from picking up supplies for the manufacturing business I own but if I decide to buy an IWC at some point it would definitely not be from this boutique. I received a gift to include an impressive historical book of the line as well as a leatherette travel box, which I find most useful. We recently purchased two watches at this store and we could not have wished for a better experience before, during and after the sale. Ours was a longer process because we were debating between different models so we visited the store several times. On each visit we were met with impeccable assistance and professionalism and this made for a great experience overall. Sometimes customer service has a name, and in this case it has several: Davide Zanella (Sales Manager), Yousef Abgoon (Boutique Manager), Calvin Chang and Chanda Son (Client Services and Sales Coordinator) went above and beyond to make sure we selected two timeless pieces. Calvin Chang helped us to make the final selection so we ended up purchasing a Portugieser Chronograph and a Pilot's Watch automatic 36- this one was even customized after a very special wish I had. We have been sporting the watches for several months and love them. I would gladly recommend this store to anybody looking to purchase one of the best watches in the world and wishing for a great store experience in Beverly Hills. They were very patient with me although I couldn't choose between several watches for an hour. I was there long enough to see Larry King walk in behind me to have his IWC watch maintenanced. I even came back to this store twice after visiting other watch dealers on Rodeo. lol. Hey, when you spend this much on a watch I'm allowed to take my time. I ended up getting the Portuguese with auto movement and I love it. It's a timeless piece with oversized face, heavy, thick and goes perfect with everything. I'll take it with me to my grave. lol. Had a great experience here and keep in mind this is the place to buy your IWC watch because it's the only IWC-owned store in North America. There are other certified dealers out there but I've also seen some unbelievable fakes from China. Can't trust anyone these days in this economy. lol. Buy legit! read more

Don't go here. I have a Portuguese which has broken (literally stopped entirely) two times. Surprise surprise it happened just a couple months after the watch went out of warranty (both times since you get a maintenance warranty when they do repairs). The first time I had to pay $400 to get it fixed. The second time I had to pay $715!! Feels like a printer cartridge scheme to keep you coming back for more. Also it was supposed to take 6 weeks to get it fixed and it ended up taking 3 months and that was only after I chased them for two weeks just to get an update. I wouldn't care that much if this were a timex but when you pay $5000+ for a watch there should be good customer service and a solid warranty behind it. After all of this when I picked up my watch they had the nerve to try and sell me a new strap for an additional $400 and give me a catalogue to buy another watch. If you are looking for a solid watch either pay a few bucks more and get a Rolex or pay a few bucks less and get an Omega which is one of the most reliable and best customer service. Unreliable watches with an up sell for "maintenance." Terrible customer service and long delays. read more

I went to this boutique to have my hubby's watch repaired. He has a pilot's watch that has a ceramic case, which is supposed to be a lot stronger than steel. Well, wouldn't you know it he cracked it somehow. Apparently this was not included in the warranty but I had no choice so I told them to go ahead and fix it. For some reason it took close to 6 months to get it back!!!. So why the 5 stars, then? Well, Gregory was profoundly apologetic and he waived the charges for the work.
