I made an appt at the AP Boutique after a number of years of admiring the watches. I met with sales associate Christian who was kind and welcoming upon arrival. We sat and spoke openly about my interest in the brand, my background, as well as his. Turns out we both grew up in AZ and shared our experiences growing up and eventually making our way to California. Christian brought out a few models to try out so I could get a sense of their size and fit. This was really interesting and informative as I had previously had my eye on the mid size models, but came to realize that even the larger sizes look pretty good on my smaller wrist. After trying on, Christian noted which models I was potentially interested and had me fill out a customer form and exchanged his direct line. I had no expectation of leaving with a watch as I knew these models are rare with a long waitlist. But nonetheless, the experience of trying them on and getting a better sense of what I like made the trip worth while. Back in 2021, I called the Ap store asking if I could make an appointment and get possibly introduced to the brand. I was misfortune enough that EBONY COLE answered my phone. She laughed over the phone, said they have nothing to sell and hung up!! 2 years later, 2023 I decided to call again and ask for another appointment. To my unfortunate luck, I was paired with EBONY COLE again! I felt sick to my stomach that this is happening again but I tried going in with a positive attitude but it was just a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, experience each time. Ebony was VERY PUSHY for me to get a CODE or a Royal oak offshore. I explained to her that that I don't like the Code series neither the royal oak offshore line up. I explained to her that I already have a vast collection of "luxury" watches and I'd like to add AP's to my collection moving forward. Ebony did not show ANY sort of care whatsoever. When I was mentioning to her what watches I'd like, she was scrolling though her phone the whole time not paying attention. Now let's talk about the check in process. Ebony told me to check in with her "every new season" I tried checking with her last season, she didn't reply for a whole week. I called the store asking if my Sa Ebony can be changed. One of your colleagues LIED and said Ebony has had phone issues and she'll call me back. Okay fine... another week goes by and I don't hear back. In two weeks after my message to Ebony, I call AP house on sunset asking if Ebony is still working with Ap? The person answering the phone is confused when I asked if Ebony is still working or not. I explain to her that it's been two weeks since I messaged Ebony and I say "I guess I'll hear back from Ebony once I write a review" Not 5 minutes after, you can guess EBONY calls me!!! Ebony says "Oh Hi friend. Sorry I had an issue with my phone last week and I tried to call you last week but I was off by a digit!!" To anyone that's reading this, am i the only person who saves contacts information on a phone and do you guys still write down a number on a piece of paper and refer back to that for your point of contacts?? Anyways, the last straw was a couple weeks ago that I requested to make an appointment to stop by in person. I explained to Ebony that i can either come in on Saturday. Initially she said that works but they're doing a remodeling so it has to be rescheduled for another time. Sure that's fine. She calls me and leaves me a voicemail saying SEVERAL times that MONDAY, alongside Wednesday and Friday WORKS for her. I text her back within 15 minutes saying Monday works as I'll be starting a project next Tuesday. Ebony's response? Oh Monday is FULLY booked even though 15 minutes ago she said SEVERAL times that she's available. TLDR, if you're interested or passionate about Audemars PIGUET, and have ANY sense of self respect and dignity, do yourself a favor and ask for anyone EXCEPT EBONY COLE. Side note, a couple of my friends that I told them to go to the Ap house in sunset have all been able to purchase their watches but they did not go through Ebony! Last but not least, a SPECIAL THANK YOU to "EBONY COLE" as a "BRAND AMBASSADOR" for her unprofessional behavior and abhorrent behavior was so off putting that not only I won't buy a Ap watch if I was offered from her or any AP regardless. What started off great simply turned awful after a couple of thousand dollars changed hands. In short, AP Beverly Hills sent my Royal Oak 4100BA to Switzerland for repair a year or so back, the watch came back perfect albeit with a new movement and a new crown. I called and sent no less than 2 emails to AP/Kimberly inquiring about exactly what movement is now in my watch to no response which is super frustrating and unprofessional. I have the original box and papers that no longer match the watch. I was provided nothing in the way of documentation (save my payment receipt). Flash back to mid Covid-19, and I decided to go look for a nice Royal Oak Offshore 44m that I had my eye on for some time. Walking up to the door I was met by security pointing me away from the inside. I was confused, and startled at what looked to be hostile actions. I stayed by the door and the male security guard cracked the door open to say due to covid we are appointment only, and besides have no pieces for sale at this time. I had turned around and left, ready to move on with my life separate from owing anything AP, when from 10-15 feet back I heard the voice of a new friend call out to ask if I needed help. She apologized for security's cold encounter and warmly accepted me into the boutique with refreshments and a conversation about my interests. Kimberly is her name, and she absolutely fantastic. She truly cares about her clients, and also her love and appreciation for Audemars Piguet comes through as she explains each piece in extraordinary detail. Although I did not purchase a timepiece in that first encounter, I have been back a few times, and now have a one for myself and for my partner who also works in LA. Her professionalism and integrity is a hard find in watch selling circles. I was worried with the recent corporate takeover of the store that she may not still be there or the store would change for the worse. AND IT HAD CHANGED! But for the better- OMG. After the debacle of the South Coast store opening and all of the empty promises, decepcions, and straight mouth service from that store; I'm so happy to see that Beverly Hills AP is actually run properly. All of the staff work together in expert precision like swiss watchmakers executing their every move. From security (NOW) to the greeting, the drinks, the chocolates, macaroons, OMG they just don't stop catering to their customers. I am an avid watch collector and actually live on the east coast. On a trip to California where I was staying bi-weekly while my wife went to school for her subspecialty I went to get an all gold AP serviced for her. Random trip, well outside all the relationships I have on the east coast simply while on a stroll. I was greeted by Ari, who immediately embodied what the AP brand stood for. He was not only friendly and cordial, but did so while tastefully representing the exclusiveness of the brand he represents. This is a difficult task because most people are either too standoffish and that hurts the brand, or too friendly and make promises they cant keep. Ari, to the contrary, was the perfect balance. I have since become a regular customer buying a couple of watches a year. I buy watches to wear and enjoy them and he recognizes this. I honestly have lost interest in other watch brands not just because of how awesome AP is itself, but because of the relationship I have specifically developed with Ari at AP Beverly. I am used to getting what I want, and usually don't have an issue going wherever I can to get it. However, Ari is the only person that can tell you sorry nothing available but he will let me know that warrants a response of "thanks buddy." While he usually delivers, it is always on the brands timetable, he handles it so well that one never has an issue waiting because of the geniuses of his representations and the eloquent style he possess of reminding you the customer that the brand is exclusive and you can't just have what you want. That is an art. No longer going to California, I still will only deal with Ari in Beverly Hills. I could not dream of buying another watch from another dealer, even if one were available. I would rather wait and deal with Ari, that is how professional, responsive, and good he is as an ambassador for Audemars Piguet. I'm glad that Audemars Piguet finally has their own boutique in Beverly Hills. To our surprise, the salesperson who greeted us was not very helpful in providing customer service. We had inquired about a particular watch, and the first thing she had asked us was if we wanted to "buy it right now" (her exact words). She didn't even offer to open the case to have us see the watch or try it on first. Buy something without seeing it first? Where's the convincing salesman skills? I guess she didn't want commission that day.. There was another family who had just come in, and the father asked for some information on another watch. Same treatment. The salesperson didn't offer to ask the customer if he wanted too see the watch out of the case. All she did was give them the price. Usually salespeople would offer payment options to keep the customer in the store, but nope, she treated them as if she knew they wouldn't buy it; "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" kind of attitude. SO SNOOTY! The family walked away awkwardly. We weren't expecting 5 star service, but the salesperson could have been more personable or at least pretended that she wanted to be there! For the price they are charging, AP should really go and seek individuals who are actually passionate about the brand. I live out of state and only had one day to visit an Audemars Piguet boutique in California. I email for an appointment and never got a response. I called the store three times and no one answers the phone. I decided to chance it and drive down to the store. I realize that I didn't have an appointment but I was hoping they had a display model of the Royal Oak that I could try on for for two minutes just to see how it fits/wears. I pay for parking, get to the store and was greeted by security and a young gentleman that was a greeter. They have one display model of the Royal Oak. There isn't a single customer in the store so I ask the greeter if I could try the watch on. He goes back and asks the manager. He says sorry I can't try the watch on. Shortly after another sales person and the female manager come out. I don't get any greeting from them. Not having an appointment I understand that I might not be able to try on the watch, but the manager should have come out and greeted me and explained that. I would have given this location one star but the security officer and greeter had better customer service than the sales staff and manager. I called the other AP location the prior day and they answered the phone and the lady explained that appointment details and was much friendlier I should have gone to that location instead. read more

An absolute nightmare. I brought my 1 1/2-year old rose gold Royal Oak to have the clasp repaired, as well as the fact that it was not keeping time (despite a watch winder). I paid $1100 and it took them 3 months to repair. 2 months after receiving the watch, the clasp broke again and the watch fell to the ground. Upon arriving to the store, Ebony inspected the watch, listened to my story and told me that it would be covered under the warranty. Several weeks later, I received an email stating that not only would it not be covered, but that I would owe $9400 for fixing the clasp, the fact that it wasn't keeping time, and NOW a new bezel because it was dented. OF COURSE IT WAS DENTED! THE CLASP KEPT BREAKING! They refused to accept this. I'm taking my watch to another repair shop, as this is a financial raping. read more

I've been an Audemars Piguet fan for a few years. Got my first AP couple years ago in Paris and it still my all time favorite along my watch collections. Since then, I always wanted to add more pieces to my collection. However, there is no AD in my area. So I contacted the closest one, which is Audemars Piguet Beverly Hills. My sales associate was Kimberly. By the time I made my appointment, she kindly informed me that they have no watches to see or try. But the morning before our appointment, she told me that they have just received a Code 11.59 which is available for purchase. She said she can hold it until I arrive. I kindly refused, cause my heart is on the chronograph and I don't want to hold up something I'm not going to purchase. By the time I arrived, it was sold as expected. I didn't get a chance to try.
