    Supposedly a 12 ounce churrasco.
    Juan R.

My fiance and I went to order food, and I ordered the more expensive 12 oz churrasco (skirt steak). I got it and it looked very small so I went back in and they actually said that that was the 12 oz churrasco. I know that steak shrinks, but I've ordered churrasco in restaurants and cooked plenty of them myself. Churrasco doesn't shrink that much. In the aluminum tin, it was 6 oz, and the pan was 0.7 oz, so the steak was 5.3 oz cooked.

    Really disgusting flan
    Gabby H.

I received this vomitous piece of flan in my order tonight. When I called to get a refund they first tried to tell me it was the caramelized sugar. I then told them it looked spoiled and I got a half of a slice. If was packed over hot food.Told them I wanted a refund and was told the manager wasn't in.... I asked them to send me a new piece and they said they didn't do that. Then they offered me a credit but not my credit card but to their restaurant. Which they didn't bother to tell me it was a store credit. I had to get an email from them to find that out. When I called back the girl told me that her boss won't give me a credit to my card. Are they that hard up for money that they have to keep my $3.49? Skip this place as they obviously don't care about their customers.

Bistec encebollado, arroz com grandules, mogongo con pollo
    C L.

Based on reviews expected a tastier experience.. Alcapurria was hard, the mofongo was good however the chicken in it was bland & when they gave you sauce it was scarce... chicken stew sauce had too Much pepper.. The bistec encebollado had a top coat of what tasted like an entire lime.. onions weren't even cooked with any vinegar or taste.. The only good thing was the mojo sauce.. I rated them higher due to cleanliness & food presentation..

Love it! I recommend the Pernil, Cubans, skirt steak, and shrimp. Don't forget the garlic sauce!

Inside was nice with plenty of seating for groups and AC to keep you cool on hot summer days. Acoustics were great we were able to enjoy our conversation without having to yell over loud music. Bathrooms were clean with a touch of Puerto Rico as ambient coquí frogs sing in the background. The staff were amazing, friendly attentive and helpful. Our waitress was top notch took care of our coffee and food orders with a smile on a rainy cloudy day. Ordered the Coquito latte, delicious- paired with the sweet and spicy chicken and Coquito batter waffle!! Wow the flavor was great didn't even need syrup. Loved the contrast of sweet and salty. Great portion sizes for the price. My wife got the Coquito French toast with scrambled eggs hash brown potatoes and bacon served on a charcuterie board. Eggs were fluffy and delicious the French toast was soft and buttery.

Order catering at this restaurant and picked up food on a Saturday in August 2021. Wow, this restaurant is extremely busy with all walks of life customers from business, bikers, customers from afar, etc. Their presentation of the food displayed fresh, and so appealing. The scent of the food- wow- delish! The owner & staff prompt & attentive to their customers. As we briefly waited to pick up our cater order for a party of 15, customers kept coming and going. As more food was being brought out to be displayed and sold $$$. As soon as we placed our order in the vehicle with the assistance of the owner bringing the food out to us, the delish aroma that we continued to smell the food was mouth watering. Once back home with our guest and displayed our cater order bountiful of each yellow rice, beans, pork, chicken, pork chops, yucca, sweet banana, alcapuria of yuca, alcapuria of beef, stuff potato ball, corn fritters and shrimp salad. Our guest enjoyed every bite of it and by the end of the day all gone. We will definitely be coming back as a regular customer and order catering at this location more often. We give applauds to the owner and his staff for excellent fresh food and service!

We received our order pretty quickly and everything was warm (not super hot). We ordered beef and cheese empanadas - they were very fresh and crunchy but bland. We ordered a large maduro - fantastic - large pieces of banana perfectly cooked - soft and sweet. I ordered the pernil combo with rice and gondules and yuca fries - the pernil while soft was pretty salty. The rice was very good - good portion - needed some hot sauce. The yuca fries were very good - the sauce it came with was too spicy for me. Hubby had a pastele which he said was very good. He also had the pork chunks with rice and gondules which was also a bit salty. We decided next time to try some other items. We will be back.

Their chimichuri sauce was really good and helped elevate the steaks flavor. The tostones were soggy and packed with the garlic drip dip. It was oily and spilled inside so a lot of the tostones and the garlic on it, which my kid didn't like. The black beans look as if they were poured out of a can with the clear liquid and they were super salty. The potato salad was also too salty and not edible. Not sure why there were apples in there. Spent too much money.
