Veggie sandwich and black beans soup.

Wow! My first time here and am impressed with the quality of the food. Friendly people, comfortable space, easy parking, and great food. I'll be back!

Beef tamale platter
Sofie D.

Their tamales are Americanized but absolutely delicious. The cheese dip that comes with the beef tamale platter is some of my favorite cheese dip in the state. I would remark on the rest of the food (that my friends rave about) but tamales are all I ever get since they're that solid. The service is always great and the ambiance is... well, it's family friendly. Lots of quirky paintings for sale hanging up.

Service was good but the vegan options didn't live up to what was advertised on the menu. I had the veggie burger and fries and it was delicious. And there was some pretty neat artwork on the walls and tables.

Shrimp pesto garden pasta

What a wonderful experience. The place reminds me of Lord of the Flies (in a good way) since the entire team from there servers to the cashier all appear to be High school kids! Rustic, family owned, unique home made feel to the food are key features. I've tried the Asian salad which is not bad and is fresh and aromatic. The vegetable Tamales are my favorite snack. The Pesto shrimp past is also delicious and filling (even the lunch portion) They have souvenirs you can buy I clouding honey pots, T shirts etc. Closed on Sunday evenings.

The service was good and the early dinner was also. I had the burger and chips, she had the salmon and we enjoyed, the cheese slice was expensive at $1.75. Over all nice. Not to busy. Thank you Amy for the great service.

Izzy's is a great place to go and eat. You can't beat a milk shake, pizza, and lemon ice box pie from here.

I was apart of a birthday celebration and coming in we had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes …read more When finally seated we had an additional wait time of about 25 min to even get drink orders and appetizers. At this time we just decided to ordered everything at once . Drink I ordered was the Play De Do which consisted of light and dark rum and a combination of orange and pineapple juices. Very watery. Food we ordered was Caesar Salad which was good. Shrimp and crawfish etoufee, was good but lukewarm , if it was hot it would have been delicious and seasoned well. Crispy catfish and buttermilk shrimp entrees , good as well just lukewarm. I attached the description of entrees below. The waitress we had I can say she worked and was professional, in her defense she can't do it all. She needed help and it showed. You cannot have a party of 20 and one waitress and expect food and drinks to come out hot and strong. This review was not for any negative purpose this should be a learning opportunity to get managers to roll up sleeves and pitch in more if staffing is on shortage for that day. For pricing of food and drinks and the ambiance supposed to be of high scale, I was not impressed. Coming from out of time I probably won't be back to see if changes were made .

This should probably be a 3.5. We went for late lunch on a Saturday, and the service was great!…read moreFirst, they have Pepsi instead of Coke products so that was an immediate bummer. We started with the beef carpaccio which was a very generous portion and great...probably the best value I've ever seen for that dish! Next time we'd order without the tomatoes on top (kinda seemed like canned, crushed tomatoes and not a traditional part of the dish), but it was a great start to the meal! Then my husband got the pappardelle bolognese, and I ordered the pork chop. We probably should have known not to order pasta after seeing their version of "carbonara"...penne instead of spaghetti, peas, cream, AND chicken on top...my Italian husband was getting hives just reading it. The bolognese had huge chunks of undercooked onions and just wasn't a traditional bolognese at all. The pork chop was fine, but kind of dry even though I ordered medium and with no char on the outside. The Brussels sprouts as the side veggie were good. If we go back, we'll just get a bunch of carpaccio!

This establishment really likes to pretend to be gourmet, but it's a pretentious farce. Paying the amount we did for what is hospital quality eggs and biscuits, overcooked bacon, dry sausage patties, and Jimmy Dean Sausage Links is bizarre. Ordered an eggs Benedict and whoever poached the egg failed to drain it properly and I 'enjoyed' watered down hollandaise sauce with very little flavor. If you want a similar experience head over to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and enjoy the cafeteria's breakfast for $29 dollars less! :) They did have a very nice band playing, I would've preferred just giving them all of the money. A pretty terrible experience overall! :)))) Service was polite and helpful at least.
