This J wings in Roswell is horrible. They have switched owners a few times, but the current employees(especially the BIG girl with glasses working up front, her demeanor is disgusting) are the WORST. Most of the women up front have very rude and condescending. They also do not allow you to place children's order over the phone so no matter what you order once you get there you have to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes for the kids meal. This is a sign that they have grown too big and I've started taking our business for granted I'll never return!!!!! read more

A misadventure with an unfamiliar food ordering app resulted in me, accidentally placing an order at this location - 11 miles away from my nearest location. My lack of familiarity with the app and it's unhelpful website. I had to drive to pick up my food from this location. When I arrived at this restaurant, I was greeted by friendly people they remembered my call and my attempts to try to get the order transferred. Despite my technological mishap, they exhibit grace and warmth and was very friendly. The people behind the counter, radiated smiles, and they graciously prepared my order to perfection. After waiting patiently in line my order was placed. An irrational customer entered the building as my number was called. She went to the pickup line and demanded that her order be redone! Meanwhile my food sat on the counter! After a 3 minute discussion and four people that came after me , received their food, I asked kindly to please bag mine so that I could leave. I looked the owner in the face and she told me, "hold on, don't you see me handling something here?" In disbelief, I said that's my food can you bag it up! She then ignored me and went in the kitchen. The young man who was the cashier kept bagging orders with the exception of mine. At this time, I was furious and demanded that my order be bagged! He ignored me and kept bagging other orders! I then demanded my money back! The older lady at the register was clueless and didn't know how to refund the money! The young lady then steps in and says, "we refunded your money, check tomorrow your bank account"! I have always had good experiences with food here but on this visit something had changed. Upon entering the business I could smell something burning. I should have taken that as a sign. Man they have some of the best wings for a local spot in this area. My order Garlic Parmesan+honey garlic pepper needs to be a staple but that's neither here nor there. The flavors are always fresh. Don't sleep on this place. I came in with low expectations since they serve such a wide range of food. Staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. I would rate their wings as one of the top 5 I've tasted in the metro Atlanta area and I consider myself a crafty wing vet who will go to great lengths to find a good wing establishment. I've since branched out and tried a few other food items and all are exceptionally good. I too had heard so much to do about this place and I thought, "can't be that fantastic?" Well it wasn't, but .... it is very clean with a courteous and friendly staff. I work in the area and this is the new hotspot nextdoor to Firehouse Subs. The menu is extremely colorful and descriptive. I dined with a co-worker and had the fish sandwich platter....uhhh not soo good. Sometimes fries are just fries and in this case so be it. The photo shows crinkles which is what I was expecting and hoping for. The fish sandwich I did not like, it was small and the tartar was too sweet. My co-worker had 10 wings, plain and teriyaki with shrimp fried rice and of course his choice tasted better. The rice was good and the wings hot, flavorful, crispy and meaty! I really wasn't feeling my best on that day so I will try J Buffalo's again sometime and maybe try one of the many other items they offer. A place that has this much variety can't be great at everything. I got the 10pc wing and fried rice special. $10 bucks for wings, load of rice, and drink is a pretty good deal for the most part. I thought the fried rice was great. The only reason why I can't give this place a 5 star is because my wings were a little small though they were cooked well - nice crispy, hot, and well sauced. But in my experience, it seems that poultry prices fluctuate all the time so I am sure they will have bigger wings when I come back another time. I will be sure to update the review then. Best thing about this place is how clean and orderly this was place as mentioned in other reviews. Being at clean and nice doesn't happen on accident. Especially at a cheap wing/cafe food place.
