For a late night spot in Woodstock, I'm entertained! Lol We came to Fat Shack around 1 am and tried to keep it light, lol. The Fiancé ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, I ordered fries & fried oreos. At first glance, the philly looked disappointing, but the flavor was there & the bread was fresh, but not greasy like the philly's I'm used to and love! The fries were good, hot and fresh (always a plus). The fried oreos were good, but the dough was a bit thicker and on the pale side, but still good nonetheless! I would revisit Fat Shack! Especially since the only good things open late around here are literally just waffle house lol! read more

Great 1st experience here at Fat Shack. Ordered just the chicken fingers and fries to try it out with a side of honey mustard and buffalo ranch. The sauces were delicious. Everything was made fresh by the staff member working today and it was all very tasty. She was incredibly friendly and was taking orders + making the food. Everything was made quickly and efficiently. Would definitely be back to try more off the menu. read more

I actually downloaded Yelp to make a review on this place. I don't know what they're expecting but, I'm surprised they're still in business. I decided to get their most popular sandwich, the cow and it was by far the most soggy, inedible, sloppy bs I've ever seen. I am by far no means a picky eater. So my hopes weren't too high based on previous reviews but decided to give them a try as I was craving a Philly and the mentions about their Phillies were pretty good. Needless to say, I was not impressed with what I ordered. The philly did not have much meat in it and the taste wasn't there. The cheese fries came as a glob I guess from the cheese not being melty and warm/hot. Not really sure if I would give them another try. read more

20 mins from Pine Mountain is this super cool eatery called Fat Shack. It's been on shark tank and they make 8" sandwich's with odd combinations. I got the "Fat Doobie" and it had mozzarella sticks, french fries, and chicken tenders all in one! Lol it was actually a lot better tasting than what I originally thought it would. I also got the fired cheesecake bites with strawberry sauce and it was amazing! The service was friendly and fast. Fat Shack serves the best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had! They also serve my favorite french fries. If you have a craving for something sweet the fried Oreos are a must have. The environment is very casual. They have sports on their televisions. The staff is also really friendly. I haven't tried the wings yet, but I'll do that next time I go. Truly a spot to eat after a rough night out on the town. They fry everything and put it on a bun. For me, all of the flavors just drowned each other out and it just tasted like grease. The fried cookies were sweet and melted in your mouth, I did enjoy those. read more

It is very convenient to have a place open late in Woodstock, which is why I have two stars instead of one, but I think such a business must be difficult to stay staffed and cleaned. Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this place as I was excited about the menu. I took my 2 daughters this evening and as we walk in every table is dirty and the dining room is a mess. No one on staff making any effort to clean anything. The young gentleman behind the counter was very sweet and helpful, he was honestly the best part of the entire visit. We ordered about $55 worth of food and we sat amd waited....and waited...and waited.....the table across from us got our appetiters and the young lady took them off their table and tried to toss them to us, I politely said no thank you and requested new ones. She walked off with an attitude about it. We wait a little bit longer and my daughters burgers come out, completely wrong and missing items. The fries were hot and descent but that's all I got to try as the rest of our order never came out and never got the appetizers ordered. I asked the young man from before if we could get a refund and he politely helped us. Again I truly wanted to give this a try and it be amazingly good. Got the fat shack sandwich. Pretty darn good, my only complaint is there's a ton of fries on the sandwich that kind of tone down the other flavors a little too much. Chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks still had a little crunch, Philly cheese on there stood out, and the honey mustard was a good touch. The fries on the side were great so I think next time, just get the fries off the sandwich but otherwise pretty great. Be prepared to wait if you're going late but don't let it deter you. read more
