I can confirm that J Butlers is back! This was one of the best burgers I've had here in years. Nicely done.

Oh, J. Butler... where do I start? I've worked about 3 miles away for the past 26 years, and during that time there have been months on end where they would earn my weekly loyalty with cleanliness, quality zzz food, and attentive service, only to drive me away when attention to these things slip. When the folks in the kitchen are on top of it, the burgers and sides are very good. When they aren't, my medium rare burger is likely to be closer to well done. no, I'm not going to send it back. I'm going to finish it, or not, and just add a checkmark in the negative column of my mental assessment. As of this week, it looks like they might be on an up swing, and I sure hope that they maintain it. I'm pulling for you folks!

Another successful evening at J Butlers. ordered my favorite which is the French Dip. Come with none other than the Au Jus on the side. One cannot exist without the other. Very delicious and the service is always great!

I stopped in with work crew, ordered a beer and the shrimp and grits. Everything about this place is just OK. The outside, the inside, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, the service. If you are looking for mediocre, look no further. It's not that it was bad, it was just average in every way which begs the question, why bother in the first place.

The fajitas came with a horrible plastic glove at the bottom of the plate. This shouldn't happen!!! Manager didn't handle situation well.

Horrible place. Found a PLASTIC GLOVE in the fajitas!! Manager didn't handle it well. She seemed amused and gave excuses of why a glove had fallen on a plate... took time to give a poor apology... :-(

On a trip and stayed in Archdale. Looked for an open restaurant with TVs to catch the game on ACC Network. YELP reviews were bad but decided to give it a try. The place was amazing. Sports bar, excellent chips, fries, good salads, really good burgers, and amazing chicken salad. Service was SPOT on, even during Covid. Our waitress took great care of us, was attentive, and they worked with my daughter's food allergies. Will definitely definitely come back here again. The Carolina Burger is boss!!!!! My recommendation, ignore past review, DEFINITELY not deserved.

It feels welcoming, relaxed, and unlike your typical burger place. You can tell this isn't a chain restaurant, it's a place with character. Our server, Hannah, was absolutely fantastic. She greeted us with a smile, knew the menu inside and out, made great recommendations, checked on us throughout the meal, and somehow managed to be attentive without hovering. Great service can make or break an experience, and she absolutely made ours even better. We started with the Brisket Tots, and wow...these are a MUST order. Crispy tater tots covered with tender smoked brisket, creamy beer cheese, scallions, parmesan, and chipotle lime aioli. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and honestly, this appetizer could have been a meal all by itself. The drinks were just as impressive. I started with a perfectly made Manhattan, then switched to a Long Island Iced Tea that was properly strong without tasting overpowering. My husband ordered an Apple Tini, and we even had a funny moment when our drinks almost got switched at the table. We topped it all off by sharing a tequila shot together, making it the perfect way to kick off our date night. For dinner, I ordered the Jam Session Burger, and hubby ordered the Black & Blue Burger. Both burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy, and piled high with fresh toppings. My burger had incredible flavor with bacon, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. Hubby loved the Black & Blue! The portions were incredibly generous. Between the Brisket Tots and our burgers, we were completely stuffed and ended up taking nearly half of our food home. That's always a bonus because lunch the next day was just as good. Before we left, Hannah recommended the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, and I'm so glad I listened. Rich, creamy, decadent, and the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. Everything about this place was on point. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented. The cocktails were excellent. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was fun, and the service never slowed down even though they were busy. My husband even ran into an old coworker while we were there, which made the evening even more memorable. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. You can tell they put pride into what they serve, and it shows. Whether you're looking for an amazing burger, smoked brisket, handcrafted cocktails, a casual date night, or just a fun place to unwind after work, Frady's absolutely delivers. We'll definitely be back, and next time we're bringing friends.

We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise!

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.

The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.
