[[HIGHLIGHT]]Diner type location nestled into a strip mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Selection of small tables and booths for seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good selection of breakfast items this Sunday morning. Coffee was good. Specialty coffees were interesting. Food was very good. Staff was very attentive, opening and holding the entrance doors for most everyone and providing good service. Definitely worth a visit.

Honey blueberry ciabatta- delish!
Cindy A.

I joined a group of friends here for brunch. We had a great experience. The servers were friendly and patient with us - we got so busy talking we forgot to look at the menu! Once we all ordered our food arrived pretty quickly and looked fresh and hot. I ordered the honey blueberries ciabatta breakfast with fresh fruit as my side. It was delicious! The tangy bite of the cheese mixed with the fresh blueberries made a yummy combination. Several of my friends got eggs which looked light and fluffy. Maybe I'll get that next time. If you are looking for good, fresh food in a clean and welcoming environment, head over to J. Chris!

Goddess omelette

So I was skeptical about eating here when I walked in as it was empty. I asked the hostess if it was good and she said yes. (She seemed trustworthy). Once we were seated, our waitress came right over. She was super sweet and her service was great. The kids had chocolate chip pancakes and I had a the goddess omelette with grits. We enjoyed our breakfast, no complaints. I would definitely come back to try something else.

Really good breakfast this morning with good service from a young server who was definitely hustling and learning the job. No worries. I had a veggie omelet with goat cheese and sliced tomatoes on the side instead of potatoes. With the English muffin, it was good. Nothing spectacular, but definitely good. Lots and lots of coffee as I sat with my friend and caught up. I haven't seen him in a couple of years so it was nice to not be rushed and since the restaurant didn't fill up this early, we felt comfortable taking up a table for more than two hours. Grits, biscuit, eggs and potatoes

Went on a late Saturday morning and we were seated immediately. Food tasted good. Loved the blueberry crunch pancakes. Left satisfied and plan to go back soon.

Turkey sausage, potatoes and fruit

Very attentive service with a good, eclectic menu. Portions are slightly on the small side for the money, but well prepared and presented. They have a lighter, healthier fare section on their menu as well as some really good whole grain and granola berry pancakes. I had the berry crunch pancakes which was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. They were paired with eggs which I substituted for fruit and a side of potatoes and two turkey sausage. Definitely, wouldn't get the turkey sausage again!! It had a weird taste and I love turkey, but this particular sausage made me nauseous. All in all everything seemed to be your standard run of the mill brunch/Lunch.

My second time here. I do recommend. We had great customer service and even though it was a busy day, our wait was only 15 minutes for 2 people. They are reasonably staffed. Our waitress made sure we received our food in a timely manner The eggs were bland . The pancakes were perfect . The turkey bacon was very scrumptious. I enjoyed my visit. They never fail with the Turtle latte. The potato's are on the saltier side

Avocado skillet with turkey hibiscus tea with honey

This place is not very sanitary or clean, young staff some are good some are not. Food is okay wish they had mimosas would make it excellent for brunch spot Love the avocado skillet.

A typical spot. Kinda reminds me of a village inn. Service was friendly. No real excitement to share and works for breakfast/brunch.

They have fresh squeezed juice that is a must try when you go. I received great service from the employees at this location. The establishment is very clean and seems to pass majority, if not, all health and safety requirements. The restaurant is in a plaza, so, there is plenty of parking that is convenient for you. I believe the hours are only until 2pm, and, they tend to bring in a large crowd. Therefore, I advise planning on getting here no later than 12:30, so you have an ample amount of time to be seated and enjoy your food Speaking of food, I would say, for the most part, our dishes were delicious. As I said, the food is fresh so you walk away not feeling overstuffed if you wish to indulge in a lot of food (which I recommend ) The only feedback I have is the Carne Asada tacos lacked a little flavor. Not the entire taco as a whole, but the meat itself- I was able to tell when I tried this dish. I am, shower, very particular with my Carne Asada you have to put the perfect amount of seasoning and the right kind of seasoning along with cooking it a certain way to get a good asada. My favorite course, was the bacon, along with the farmhouse bowl. It was the perfect blend of meat, potato, herbs, & fresh eggs. I added arugula to throw on some extra veggies to my dish and it definitely enhanced it in the best way Overall, First Watch is a staple and I highly recommend you take a visit!

I went with the frittata with smoked salmon, the field greens salad and added an extra protein. I only drink decaf coffee which they serve by the pot. The food came out really fast and was an average portion. There were people who lunch and older couples enjoying their food. Service was very pleasant as I asked to move to a table with an outlet. Surprisingly they only have one table in the dining room with access to an outlet. This isn't a good place to work for an extended time. Overall, lots of options for breakfast, brunch and lunch. They do serve cocktails which I'll try on another visit.

Solid 5 stars all around: ambiance, service, and food…read more They have a small parking lot behind the store, I drove past it and had to come back around but found it and easily found parking in the middle of the day. Inside is lovely and clean with earthy decor and some toys for children by the restrooms. They also have a portable changing table available on request. I sat outside on the patio and they put a fan on me since it was warm. Lovely seats on the lawn shaded by a large tree as well as some deck seating. They have a large menu loaded with goodies. I found about 5-6 things I actually wanted at once but settled not he Veggie bowl and added chicken sausage. My bowl had sweet potato hash, cheese, kale, red peppers, red onion and mushrooms sautéed, topped with two eggs and my added chicken. It was a huge portion and it was really delicious. Perfectly cooked and healthy and loaded - the hash was phenomenal. My waitress was the sweetest and I really just enjoyed a lovely quiet lunch with the patio entirely to myself on a lovely summer afternoon. Couldn't have been better.

The owner had everyone in mind when it came to the food. There's a drink menu for kids and even something for the dogs . I ordered the coconut curry salmon . It was good . It lacked flavor, but I appreciated it for not being overly salty. My favorite meal was the avocado nachos. I have thought of them since my first time eating them. It is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. Ask long as it's offered I will always order it . The parking was a bit tight behind the house . When I arrived , I was very lucky to get the last spot . However , I noticed other patrons were parking next to the Root Canal office . It was an open area that appeared to be a makeshift parking area. There was outdoor seating, by which I saw quite a few people seating there . It looked cozy and no one seemed uncomfortable. As it was my first time there. I elected to eat inside. It wasn't a bad experience, but the home is very small . I can imagine it being congested . But I was there early on a Sunday . Will I eat here again ? Yes !

From burgers to salads to poke nachos to beet salad, every single dish was exceptionally plated and prepared. The diner itself was spacious and well accommodated. Very pretty design with a modern touch. It was nice to couples on dates, families enjoying a nice meal, and then a large birthday group next to us. The weather was great for those seated outside. I would have figured it would be elevated cheeses, but who am I to say? I sounded good regardless, and it was tasty as well. I don't have any negative comments about the food, however, it didn't blow my socks off. I'd come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to drive just for this restaurant.
