This was my favorite dish, by far. I'd come back just for that. I also tried their cheese grits, which was better than usual at a diner style restaurant. The customer service was awesome, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in general. Worth noting it backs up quickly. I got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they opened, and there was already a line at the door. It comes with 2 very large, thick pancakes. I needed extra syrup for the pancakes. My toddler loved them. I prefer thinner pancakes. The Special also comes with eggs, grits and a choice of meat. I ordered scrambled cheese eggs and they were really good!! I was quite surprised. The grits were good. Gritty and not watery. Didn't need a lot of extra salt and pepper. Also ordered the sausage and it was pretty good. The employees were super busy! But still very attentive and took good care of us! We'll be back!!
