Games on every night of the week.

I really like this spot. I really want to love it. The location is super convenient, the interior is warm & welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food selection and flavors are great. But you can't always count on the best service. This is our second time in a few months since moving here, and both times my hubby & I agree that it would be an amazing neighborhood go-to for us if we could count on consistent attention from our servers. Tonight, the young lady was professional, friendly, and helpful... at first. We had to check on our appetizer order, one of our sides was incorrect, our plates weren't cleared as we finished dishes, and then I believe she forgot about my having to pay altogether. So close!! Just a little too far from a perfect evening. But we'll be back because the food and drinks were good. Some notes: the "shareable" Tots is really only good for 1 growing boy or 2 small people, but they're delicious! The Bang-Bang Shrimp can actually be a good size meal by itself, and they're tasty. The meats in the burgers and sandwiches are very generous and cooked well. The kids meals are a perfect portion, at least for my 6-year old. And the drinks are made well. Just don't be in a rush to be someplace after eating here.

Lots of good brews here! We come here maybe once every other week for date night. It is good food at a decent price with lots of good beer choices. They have deals and specials that we enjoy. However the classic burger is a favorite!

Onion Rings- this is a side order... there were four of them

Nope... The two of us stopped in for a late lunch on the holiday Monday and found the experience very underwhelming. We were handled a clipboard with some menu items on it over three laminated pages and a front and back menu- foreshadowing the lack of quality of food we were to see. I ordered wings and rings- both were previously frozen items that were warmed and served. Fortunately, it was 1/2 price Wing Monday- (a detail that we saw on one of the clipboard notices). It brought the price from $22 for 10 all flat to $11. It wasn't anywhere near an $11 entree and I would have been even more disappointed at $22. We had this nagging feeling that it would be a predictable bad East Cobb Restaurant and it lived up to it. I just don't understand why not be good and turn an amazing profit?

We came here on a Monday night to get dinner and to our surprise they had half priced wings. We first ordered 6 as an appetizer and they were so good: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We then decided to take advantage of the deal and order more, which took a while to come. And when they came out they weren't as crispy as the first round and it was all flats, I was a little bummed because I actually like drums. We also got club sandwich and Cuban and we were satisfied with both. I'll definitely be back and give their wings another try

The service is dreadful. The staff are not trained. They don't know how to make a drink or to garnish it ? they didn't clean the table at all. The garnish when i requested it was sticky and old. The toilets were so filthy that I took photos. Ill happily supply them. My cocktails were so badly made I was in shock when told that the bartender has experience, but then I saw him sitting and eating most of the time I was there and some female staff member behind the bar. Either-way these staff are not trained and the bar and bathrooms need a power hose. Disgusting.

Great service and food! Wow! I was highly impressed! For a tavern my expectations weren't too high. However, this restaurant was nicely decorated, clean, and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful! I tried the Santa Fe impossible burger and absolutely delish! They do charge a 1$ fee for the burger change to impossible (kinda of a pet peeve but okay). The burger had pepper jack, pico, fried jalapenos avocado, and chipotle aioli- super yummy! The fries were nice and crispy too! They have a robust drink menu- I tried the Blake's cider triple jam and it was great! Lots of free parking available as it's in a shopping complex!

This is not a sports restaurant and bar as it's Braves season yet they have no clue how to get it on the many tv screens. So sad.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

Lovely spot on the patio, buffered by ornamental trees. The menu had so many delightful options it was so hard to decide. I lean towards Hispanic flavors on the mornings after big nights out. I often look for some form of a huevos rancheros.... Sort of my measure of the merits of a breakfast joint. Although not a direct hit, the Chile Verde Benedict was definitely in the ballpark. The sauce was light and flavorful, and interesting how they do the tortilla stack to give the bulk of a eng muffin. I upgraded the side of potatoes for their supreme grits. Wow. No northerner that doesn't 'get grits' would deny these cheesy gooey savory mix of ground corn. Hubby got the Smashed Avocado Benny and loved it. Even the hash browns are fancy in their cylinder form. Service was friendly and prompt and did not mind all my questions and indecision...she got it...she loved the menu options and the joy the food brought. I don't know if the flavor was coming from the jalepeno cream cheese, the French toast bagel or combination of both but I highly recommend this combo. My husband got the Italian Stallion sandwich from the lunch menu which he enjoyed as well. Both of our sandwiches were big and filling. I had to save half of mines for later & it was still good a few hours later. Besides the food options from the menu there are fresh pastries, a-lot chips & drinks selection, cold meats, grab & go deli options & cheese spreads to purchase. The staff were all so friendly. The owners mother was helping out during our visit and she was very warm and friendly. I love supporting family run business. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch or if you just have a sweet tooth and want a fresh pastry.

After being seated just before 3pm, it took almost an hour to even get beignets. I had to ask for water for our table because our waitress was all over the place and forgot. Our silverware had only knives (2 in one) no forks. Our orders were the simplest thing (avocado toast, eggs, bacon, coffee) and we didn't get the beignets until almost 3:45pm. It wasn't even busy the way I've seen it be on other weekends so the delay for a such a small party seemed odd. Multiple tables around us had theirs before our waitress even remembered to bring fried bread? Wild. I asked if the egg that was part of my meal was boiled, they said it was poached and surprise -- it was boiled. So they didn't know the menu. My food was obviously put together quickly (after complaining about the wait to the manager) and was so bland, I don't see the point in coming back. I know they have better dishes, but the simple ones shouldn't be that complicated. The whole situation made no sense from the beginning to end. It's ironic that the manager said we would be in great hands as we got seated, because my experience was anything but great. Two stars because they were at least polite about it, but that was ridiculous.
