Our party of four visited Camps Kitchen and Bar for their Easter Sunday brunch. We were visiting the Atlanta area for a short trip. I was pleased to secure a reservation with Camps, and I was very happy with the price of the buffet compared to other restaurants in the area. I came here for a date and while I did not take pictures this place is great! I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was delicious. They have alcohol free beer as well and their mozzarella sticks are on point. The service was great and attentive. The restaurant is very spacious and the booth was very comfortable. I came here on a Thursday night for dinner with a friend. I did make a reservation but didn't need it. There was a good crowd of people in the restaurant but there was still plenty of seating. The hostess and server were very nice. I started with the calamari and it was perfect. Fried and seasoned excellently and paired perfectly with the green sauce that came with the dish. I loved it. The meatatarian 8" pizza was pretty tasty. I only ate half of it because I ate the calamari and there's plenty left for lunch tomorrow. The bread pudding was so delicious. It was so soft and tasty. I don't even like raisins but I did tonight. The caramel drizzle and the ice cream on time just made my entire night. So good! So glad I found this restaurant. read more

We went to Camps on a spontaneous date night. I knew it was a pizza/pasta place and was impressed by the menu upon arriving. We enjoyed a fig & mushroom pizza (from the September specials), a GOAT pizza (regular menu), and a glass or two of wine. The side salad was really nice. The fig pizza too. The GOAT pizza needed to be salted. And no complaints about the wine. Solid 4*. I would go again and try something else the next time. read more

Our visit to Camps unfortunately left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend and I visited for dinner and left disappointed. The inside of the restaurant does have a good ambiance, but the service was lackluster. The waitress seemed uninterested and bored when she talked to us and took our order, which didn't make for a great experience. The food was hit and miss. In total we had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer, and then split the fish and chips, smash burger, and Caesar salad. We both enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and the burger was solid as well. We both found the fish and chips to be very bland and the Caesar salad had a really off-putting taste, so neither of us ate it. Overall, Camps wasn't exactly what we were looking for that night, it may have just been a bad night for the kitchen and crew, but given our experience I don't think either of us are planning on returning. read more

What a cozy, homey spot this place turned out to be! It's hidden behind a shopping center and adjacent to a cantina (which we'll be checking out soon as well), & not very visible from the main roads nearby. Unassuming from the outside, it's like walking into a country store that's dressed up for a dance on the inside. The barn facade and seating sets up nicely for families in the booths, cozy corners and convo in the bar, and open spaces for larger groups. We wanted to sit outside in the beautiful patio overlooking the water, but it had just rained and the tables and chairs were all still wet. We were still able to sit near the window. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was phenomenal! She was welcoming, friendly, efficient, attentive, and really accommodating. When I asked to adjust one of the specials, she had no problem asking the chef and made it happen. ALL our food was DELICIOUS! From the Brussel sprouts and melt-in-your-mouth Garlic knots, to the salmon plate and deconstructed Hot Chicken Sandwich, to the peach cobbler "bite." I didn't want the bread in the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, so that was I asked to have served with a house salad instead... holy cow it was amazing!! The salmon dish looked small but was a perfect serving and tasted just as amazing. My only surprise was how tiny the peach cobbler was, so I'm calling it "a cobbler bite"! We have been wanting to eat here for a long time and we finally went a couple of weeks ago. I loved their outdoor seating area. It's really big and dog friendly, which is nice! Our server was super nice and checked on us frequently. The menu is large and looked really good. I wanted to love this place because it's so close to where we live, but we sadly didn't enjoy our food. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was okay. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken, which comes with Alfredo pasta, and I did not care for the chicken at all (though it was a large portion!). The pasta was good. The search is over! I have found the best pizza in Marietta! My husband and I met for dinner at Camp'a Kitchen and Bar. I was undecided on what to order until I looked at the specials for July. The Roost pizza called out to me loud and clear! It has chicken, caramelized onion, spinach, pizza cheese, parmesan and olive oil. I ordered a small (8 inches) and side salad. I sent my compliments to the kitchen for such a delicious pizza. I was so thrilled there were pizza leftovers, which I enjoyed for lunch the next day. The Roost is being offered throughout July. Service is an issue. The past three times we had terrible service. Absolutely abandoned in the booth with no service to speak of each time.

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for a quick dinner. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. But what about the food? I had the Tavern burger and my wife had the smash burger. Mine was cooked medium rare, just as I like. Very good. Based on her comments and empty plate, her smash burger was, too. Fries were super. Crispy on the outside and hot- tender inside. Dined here for Mother's Day with the family. I saw an on FB for the buffet on the patio and immediately made a reservation. We wanted something off the beaten path with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. This fit the ask! The buffet was $25 that included brunch favorites like pastries, croissants, chicken salad, hash browns, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, fried chicken tenders, waffles, bacon, chicken sausage, shrimp & Gouda grits, biscuits and gravy, French toast, Canadian ham, bagel & lox, fruit and warm cinnamon buns. Non-alcoholic beverages were included. They had breakfast cocktails like mimosas, Bloody Mary's and more. The only thing I dinged them on was nothing green on the buffet. Mixed greens, spinach, cucumbers, green tomatoes, beans or kale - nada.That was a let down since I'm eating low carb these days! Overall, loved the service and variety of the food. I've come to Camps on two occasions. On the first to dine in and the second to carry order out a pizza order, but we had a couple drinks the second time while we waited. On both occasions it was me and my discriminating girl. Camps made a great impression on us, and is an upscale casual dinning experience with a fun eclectic menu and super friendly hosts and staff. There is a nice lounge area to distress in front of a fire place behind the front and center bar. Surrounding the bar are both booths, tables for seated dinning and a open kitchen with views of the pizzeria which they manage to crank out quickly. My dinning in experience was equally pleasant. My little one got to color on crayons and paper while we dined on very fancy food. My carry out order consisted of a pepperoni pie and a pie hysterically called Momma Eat your Veggies. Both were wonderful. We had a Shirley temple and Spicy skinny margarita while we waited. Yum! I highly recommend Camps. You just can't go wrong either way. read more

The food at Camps is great! ... However, be very careful on takeout orders, as the employees, bartenders, and/or management is running a double tip scam - where you pay online, then they ask you to re-sign a paper receipt asking for an additional tip. This is the only restaurant where I have been asked to resign a receipt from an online order. My wife made an online order and included the tip with the online order. Then I picked up the order from the restaurant who presented me with a bill - which I paid (not knowing) and included a tip at the restaurant. Later realized that the restaurant reran the tip from the paper receipt resulting in a double tip. Unfortunately, we will not be going to Camps again - and so sad as they have such an amazing selection of delicious dinners. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for a few years and was very disappointed. Our waitress and cocktails were incredible but the food was sub par. A medium burger was raw inside and wasn't fixed when they brought it back. The smash burger was definitely not a smash burger. Truffle fries were cold regular fries with a side of aioli. May wife has Celiac and there was a definite miscommunication with the kitchen. Most disappointing part was the manager knew it was our first time and didn't try to rectify the situation. Moreover, the service was fantastic and our server, Manny, was the top notch part of the evening. I have a toxic on-off relationship with this restaurant. I never know whether the night is going to go amazingly or leave me disappointed. Tonight left me speechless. Really, I'm not sure what to say. Our waiter, Ted, killed it. Deadpan humor to the max. I ordered the Korean food truck steak tacos and some parmesan fries (don't have a picture, I inhaled them, sorry!), and my mother got country fried steak. Mine was amazing, the aioli and spicy sauce played off each other. Leaves a strong taste, but it's worth enduring. Parmesan fries are amazing as always. My mother's...I have a tale to recount. I have attached a picture of the devil meal she first got. It was dried up meat with sauteed onion on it, no gravy. It tasted like "Oktoberfest gone wrong". The waiter quite literally said, first to her, then to the cooks: "What the Hell is this?" The redo was quick, second time around was better. Still not white gravy, but she'd given up fighting at this point and acquiesced. S'mores in a cup was good. Very thick and extremely sweet if you're looking for a visit to the dentist in the near future. Was very excited to try this neighborhood eatery, sadly the food left me extremely disappointed. I ordered the fish and chips because, who doesn't like fish and chips?! I'll tell you who, a customer who gets extremely breaded fish that has no flavor. After the first bite, I tore through the breading in hopes that at least the fish itself was tasty. All I ended up with were extremely oily fingers and fish that tasted like cardboard. My sister got the salmon meal and I had a bite - the salmon itself was pretty tasty, but the rice as extremely undercooked and even soggy once you actually got into eating it; vegetables were lackluster and uninspiring. This place is amazing. The bar is fantastic with several signature drinks that are worth visiting for alone. Their bar atmosphere is very cool if you want to come hang out with friends and not even eat. Their Caesar was one of the best and we are choosy Caesar salad eaters. And I mean very choosy. The truffle fries are awesome. My husband orders the salmon and says it's high quality. And he's snobby about his salmon. My son and I got the fettuccini Alfredo with sausage added. This was amazing too. The only pasta to beat this would be il giallo. I almost hate to brag on Camps Bc we hate when our favorite restaurants get too crowded. But we don't want them to go out of business during the pandemic. And their restaurant atmosphere is very nice with lots of big booths. Their service is also amazing. Five star. Decent neighborhood casual restaurant located in East Cobb. Met my sister here for dinner and we had a great time. Our server was fantastic and the manager was awesome as well. The menu is rather limited, mostly pizzas and sandwiches. They offer seasonal specials and we both opted for the Reuben special on our server's recommendation. It was really good . . . Lean corned beef served on perfectly griddled marble rye. Fries were great, too. I ordered the prime rib sandwich to take home to my husband and he said the beef was tasty and the au jus was quite good, too. We love this place! It does get busy sometimes but there's always been plenty of tables available. I would highly recommend the Bread Pudding, it's literally the best we've ever tried here. Camps had a beautiful interior and exterior. The nice inside you will find a full service bar and a magnificent wood burning stove and kitchen. We were Immediately greeted and seated for our reservation. We ordered wings as an appetizer for $11 we got 7 not so throughly cooked wing dings, not a good value. The burger special was called 'The Kiss of Death' the so called half pound of angus beef arrived with male porn star cold movie set shrinkage. Although the burger was flavorful a McDonald's 1/4 with cheese ranks better in size. Another miss! The Camps beer $3 was a good value and choice. Desert, I shared bread pudding with ice cream with my sister, it was TOTALLY AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!! The service was good. It would have been excellent if I didn't have to ask for a bag for out two to go containers. I communicated days ago asking if they were showing the Super Bowl the response was, 'yes'. After the national anthem the manager came over to invite us in the lounge/bar area to watch the game. There is a nice lounge area to watch the game. read more
