For food, we just wanted to share a couple items so we got their classic deviled eggs topped with crispy salami, the butter candle served with two croissants for dipping, and a side of crispy hash browns. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.

When I asked about the pricing and tried to get some clarification, I felt that the staff was not willing to help. Their attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of the way the situation was handled, I ultimately decided to return everything and leave. I understand that restaurants set their own prices, but I believe customers should be treated respectfully and given a reasonable explanation when they have questions or concerns. I'm Not saying that I was mistreated but i didn't get a reasonable explanation they way they explained to me was like the bread is $2.50 the cheese is $2.50 and the ham is $2.50 it just doesn't make sense a Cuban has pork cheese ham salami lettuce tomato pickles it just doesn't make sense.
