Great place. Luis was awesome to work with. Not only do they care about your finances they help. Also build your credit! Highly recommend! Update 5-17. As I am still pleased with Luis and him helping me. Just let it be known they won't help you at all on payments. If you are a day late they will tell you t9 then the vehicle over and funding may be pulled. The sales manager is rude in my opinion. Rude tone and feels like life lessons are needed to be given. Very controlling of what you do with your own vehicle you are making payments on. I went through a family situation and had to spend some funds elsewhere and asked for an extension and he was very unforgiving. So be careful. Don't plan on asking for extensions even after a families death. And expect a life lesson on responsibilities. He also asked me "is a roof over your families head more important than driving?" Honestly, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. JD Byrider is terrible! This place is trash and I would not recommend it to anyone. I financed a car from here a little over a year ago and it's been problematic ever since I've got the car. It broke down so many times! I had to pull over and push the car off to the side of the road with my kids in it and they don't give a shit. They just wanna get paid. Their little car lot is full of piece of shit cars that are way overpriced and have a shit ton of miles on them. They make it seem like you're great deal and that no one else is going to work with you, except for them lol. If you don't make your payment right on time, they start blowing up your phone and calling all your family and friends. They also have someone follow you around and keep track of you, which is crazy. If you want a beat up, over priced piece of junk, head over to byrider, Otherwise, just go to another more reputable dealership or just save your money and buy a car cash. Over priced vehicles was buying a van looked up the vans vin on Kelly bluebook and was $7000 priced and I was supposed to pay $22,000 for the van I was buying . Gave the van back and they really fucked my credit score. If your a first time buyer I would not recommend this company read more

My daughter and I came to this place for my daughter's first car. Everyone was so friendly until we met the owner. He was nice at first but through his mini interrogation his demeanor changed. he all of sudden got bipolar telling my daughter that cannot finance her because she has no credit and eegees was her first job. Then her started getting biased for being a female and told her she didn't looked responsible enough. The car salesman was so upset at the owner that he referred my daughter to Chapman. Chapman was great and my daughter was able to get her first car. This was 2 years ago my daughter paid off her first car early and now she just bought an SUV from Chapman for her and my grandbabies. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone. I get disgusted having to pass by this place and looking forward to the day that I no longer see that place in business anymore. read more

Where to start... Well let's start with other places. We were shopping for a suv or truck. We have great income, but we do not have good credit. We had been told by several other dealerships that they would be able to help us. Several dings to our credit later and they tried to put us in a cheap car. So our friend, who bought a car from J.D. Byrider, recommended we go talk to them. So we decided to try it, at this point we were getting frustrated. From the get go I could tell they were different. They didn't even show us cars to try and bait us. They explained that they get you approved first, so they're not wasting your time. The approval process took a bit. It's not a bad thing though, as they take the time to walk you through the process of everything and carefully explain everything to you. Then when we were not approved for the down payment we had, the company lent us the rest. Our first 4 payments are paying them back. That is 4 biweekly payments, we make our car payments biweekly, which is so much easier than one larger monthly payment. The service department stayed late to push out a suv for us so that once done with the approval process we would at least have one to choose from. We absolutely picked the suv they pushed out for us. Our salesman Manny stayed after closing hours just to be sure the deal was done. The owner Steve stayed after closing hours and walked us through each detail and page of our contract, which I might add includes a 24,000 mile or 24 month limited warranty.... On a used car! The last place we bought from had a warranty for just 30 days. The experience buying our suv from J.D. Byrider has been absolutely amazing. They're a company that cares and will do whatever it can to get and keep you driving. this company is a joke! they advertise that they give second chances to people who have bad credit for one reason or another! this may be true to a some extent but they fall to disclose that really they prey on people who need. second chance for whatever the reason. we were literally 5 days late and they repoed my car took out all my personal items and basically said we would not get it back and we had to pay 50 to get out stuff back. on top of it they stole items from the car and denied ever seeing it! hind site is 20/20 they say got me if I had to do it over,not only would I not go through this shady underhanded company, but I would have just waited a little longer and out right purchased a car,even a beater until I was I a better position to go with a reputable company that wouldn't take not only my car but my personal items in my car! beware of this place,they are preying on us! read more

I don't write reviews but this popped up on my phone after I left this place and it was such a horrendous experience I feel obligated to warn people to avoid this place at all costs. My girlfriend had financed a car at this place. She let her son take the car on a cross country road trip for a couple weeks. While the kid was gone they checked the GPS on the car and assumed wrongly that the owner had left without paying. She was told by Dane that they had tried numerous times to contact her about the car being out of state. Only none of the numbers they had on file were contact numbers for her or her kid. Not only was there no phone contact but there wasn't any attempt to contact by email either. So the kid gets back into town, and not an hour later they come and repossess the car. The payment was six days late. All their stuff was still in the car so we went over there to get it all. 50.00 storage fee to get their stuff, and they mysteriously lost some expensive items too. They won't even allow her to make the payment to get her vehicle back. She has always been on time with her payments, but instead of working with her they would rather be assholes. They are absolutely the worst car dealership in town. It's a scam to prey on people who don't have good credit. They even bragged about screwing another customer over twice and were reselling that person's vehicle. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. Tell anyone you can to not buy here either cause they are dirty rotten crooks. Snakes waiting to squeeze whatever they can out of you. read more
