My family and I LOVED the Provo location, so we were really happy to see a location in Lehi closer to where we live. Unfortunately, upon going to the Lehi location we were informed that they do not serve fries at the Lehi location like they do in Provo. First off, if you're franchising locations and posting pics on yelp with fries for your lehi locations, then why aren't you keeping things consistent? Second, your battered fries are AMAZING!!! They are what sold me the first time I ate a J dawgs. Quite frankly they are one of your BIGGEST selling points! Why on earth would you not serve one of your money makers at all of your locations? That's like going to a McDonalds that doesn't serve a Big Mac, or a Zuppas that doesn't serve a TBA sandwich. I can't imagine adding something as simple as a fryer would decrease your margins. We walked into the lehi location and left without ordering once we found out you didn't serve your AMAZING fries there. You're Lehi location owner needs to rethink their approach to the menu read more

Not much to it but it's delicious. I've been going to J Dawgs since it was a tiny shack by BYU. The bun is so good and the sauce they put on the hot dog is just the best. I don't even like hot dogs that much but I'll always say yes To a J Dawg! They grill them perfectly too and slice them so there's lots of little crispy edges. So good! read more

Sauce is pretty sweet and doesn't seem to compliment the beef Dawg as much. It's ok on the polish dawg. Friendly clean atmosphere and good Dawgs overall. More than worth the visit. Side note: do more marketing on the name. You can do some fun spinoffs. read more

I love JDawgs! It is a great choice if you want something quick, inexpensive and really good! You get a polish or beef hotdog, a bag of chips and a soda for only $7. The polish dog is my far my favorite and their special sauce is fantastic! They are constantly cooked and taste great every visit, which is really appreciated. The only thing that could make this place better is a drive-thru. read more

I honestly hate hot dogs but I love J Dawgs. If you haven't tried a JDawg, you won't understand but if you know you know. They are on a whole other level. Some people like to keep it simple and just get the special sauce but I personally believe that is a disservice to the J Dawg. You gotta get it all. Jdawgs never disappoints, it's always so good. I like onion, jalapeños and a pickle on my beef dawg. The guys here today were extremely nice and it was 2:30 we missed the rush. They recommend the polish next time. We also talked about the names of the different kinds of dogs. Ex: "The Lady" is Special Sauce and a Pickle. They also have DP, Coke and Pepsi for all of the soda lovers. My 4 year old son picks this place over any other, he loves the Cheetos. read more

I like J Dawgs. Once I came here on Sunday and found it was closed and I got upset. Served me right - as if I haven't lived in Utah long enough. Let alone Utah County. I am not sure what makes the hotdogs here so delightful. Probably the well-seasoned sausage combined with their special sauce. Well, they call it special sauce but it pretty much tastes like bbq sauce to me. Perfectly charred sausage coated with sweet and smokey bbq sauce wrapped in soft buns. Yumm. Someone should patent this combination, if it has not already. You can choose few condiments to go along with your hotdog. I like mine with onions and banana peppers. The hotdog itself costs 4 dollars, which sounds expensive for a hotdog but the size is big. One is enough to fill me up. The combo will include drinks and chips and costs 7 dollars. You order and pay at the entrance, then queue to wait while they prepare your hotdogs. At this Thanksgiving point branch, parking and the queue tend to get busy after 11.30am. There are tables outside so you can always get a seat. Plus, people don't normally linger after they finish eating, so the turnaround is fast. I love when a restaurant does one thing and does it right, I had the beef dog with just mayo and the special sauce, normally I'd be weary of putting bbq sauce on a hot dog but in this case it just works, the bun was fresh and it was a nice touch to grill it a bit, paired with some dirty chips and apple beer I'm satisfied. I've been coming to J Dawgs since they were at the little red shack close to BYU campus. I'm glad they've expanded and I don't have to go deep into Provo for this Utah treasure! A $4 polish or beef dog is a little steep (make it a meal with chips and a drink for $7) with all the toppings you'd like, but it's a meal, fo sho! One of my co-workers tipped me off about J Dawgs. I live up in SL County, he mentioned it was a Utah County business. When I saw that the nearest location was a stone throw into Utah County I made the journey. When I first walked into the restaurant the vibe was similar to a Chipotle. Stainless steel, industrial and if you have been to a Chipotle I think you might agree. The menu was even simpler than In N Out. I love a simple menu, when restaurant knows what they are good at one can appreciate their confidence. The Hotdogs were about $4 as I remember them. You can pick the toppings, similar to "5 Guys." Sorry for the comparisons, but if I opened a restaurant why not take a few tips from other successes! That being said, this location is newer, but i'm not sure how long the J Dawgs franchise has been around. I had my family in tow on this visit, we each ordered a dog and customized our dogs to each of our preferences. The one thing I absolutely will come back for is the sweet sauce they put on the hot dog. That sauce was delicious! Before you think of this place as a high end hot dog restaurant, I challenge you to think of this as a hot dog mastered restaurant. Very simple menu and the simplicity is refreshing. They do one thing and they do that one thing well. I've been to several different locations and this one doesn't disappoint. When I went they were still working out some kinks with the ventilation system but I'm sure it will be corrected. I always enjoy their polish dogs, onions, jalapeños and of course their sauce. I'm not sure what it is, but I find myself craving these dogs at random times and have to feed that craving. I'm glad that they put in this location! read more

I absolutely love this place! I live in Lehi and had heard about the Provo location but had never eaten there. As soon as the place opened my buddy took me to try one of their famous polish dogs and I instantly fell in love. I eat there between 3-5 times a week and can't get enough. One of my favorite things to do there is to buy their sauce and take it home to put on nachos. Weird right? This specific location has an amazing group of employees. One of them literally turned my day around simply by being kind. Today I was also fortunate enough to meet the owner who treated me to a free jdawg and thanked me for my support in eating there so much. I headed to J Dawgs for a pick me up - it was definitely a two-dawg night. This is my go-to quick bite place. By that, I mean I come here when I plan on eating something in 5 minutes or less. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes, but I usually pop in at random times so I probably miss that crazy lunch rush that happens in this area and locks everything down. I've been eating J-Dawgs for years (used to live down the street from the one on the south side of BYU campus) and I rarely get sick of them. The only times I've had to take a break were when my company used them for catering and I ate at least 10 in a few days. Yeah, that'll do it. I usually go polish, but I'll switch it up for a beef now and then. I honestly can't tell the difference because I have such a dull sense of taste, but also all the toppings I put on tend to mask the flavor a bit.
