Their candies/chocolates/cookies/breads are all very good in selections and prices. Amazing. Affordable. Some items are much cheaper than other places. It's very convenient and successful in the area on Broadway. Fruits and vegetables do stand out. It felt like I'm not in the U.S. for a moment after browsing the aisles. Fresh fresh fresh! All items looked good. Not sure if owner is Russian or European, but it's a unique place for visitors. These markets are more popular in streets of Paris, France and other parts of Europe. I loved the fruit prices and wide selections/so clean and organized with passionate employees enjoying their jobs. Cashier was quick and experienced. Box of $6.99 Russian coconut almond candy was very strong in flavor and coconut/nice! The box itself was beautiful too. Tempting. Chocolates were all outstanding from the box covers. Most quality goodies can be found for under $10 per box/pack. Under $15 range is pretty decent for larger items. Not bad for a good find on Valentine's Day. I'll revisit next time. Great impression so far.

Inside the market is a modestly lit establishment, but it works well for what they are trying to achieve. The market sells a wide variety of commodities and fresh produce; as well as items from other countries. The service was nice and friendly. I will always continue to come back to this outstanding fresh produce market.

They also have a good selection of different varieties of rice and grains, Indian, Thai, etc. and other pantry items. Nice variety of Indian, Asian, South Pacific snacks. They also offer a few Hawaiian shirts and knickknacks but what caught my eye was a small table laden with colorful Indian SILK SCARVES!!!! I came away with a bag of GARLIC PEAS (IT WAS GARLIC!) to snack on, bag of BULGUR WHEAT to try cooking at home, and a beautify lavender/gray SILK SCARF! The scarf was 100% silk and priced at $14.95. Yes, baby, it WAS coming home with me!!!!!! FIJI MARKET is an eclectic market where Indian, Fijian, Thai, Polynesian food products that may be hard to find. Again, you have got to check out the spices if you do a lot of Indian, Southeast Asian or South Pacific cooking. Parking is metered on the street where you pay at a standing kiosk. Mind your time parked there and you'll be fine. Apparently, though not by personal experience, their ticketing can be aggressive. See you there!

We ended up going to Burlingame that same day so I could try it out for myself. Metered street parking at and located in downtown Burlingame, Del' Oliva is quaint and offers gourmet olive oils and vinegars. Their products are fresh and their customer service is top tier. Immediately welcomed upon entering by the owners and shared with us a few samples and combinations of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars on tap. You can taste the fruits in their vinegars. Fantastic variations that would elevate your dishes. I picked up a lime infused olive oil and pear white balsamic vinegar. Overall, would recommend checking out for all foodies and home cooks!

The owner took his time to ask about our needs and preferences and gave us a few tastings of things he thought we would like and everything he gave us was spot on. I came in wanting to get one bottle of olive oil but ended up with 3 olive oils and 1 balsamic and I have no regrets. I had my two kids with me as well and he was very kind to them, giving them cookie samples and making them an olive/balsamic blend that tasted just like raspberry chocolate which they loved. Definitely a place to come to for your olive oil needs!

Sad to see Morning Wood closed down in Burlingame shortly after we discovered it - very unique…read morebrunch options with a fun Hawaiian flare. Fast forward we stumbled upon Diamond Head General Store -saw the comment that it is related to Morning Wood! Set our GPS and my girls and I were on our way this past Sunday afternoon. SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE! In a small nondescript building off El Camino Real in San Bruno. Has an authentic vibe as you walk in to the store..the temperature inside also reflected the warmth. 60s outdoors but felt like upper 70s indoors. You walk into a spread of musubi and onigiris on the right side; on the left - shelves of Hawaiian spices, ingredients, snacks, and other specialty items with a row of fridges along the back wall carrying all kinds of Hawaiian and Japanese drinks and other delights. These visual delights lead you right up to the counter. IMPORTANT TO CHECK YOUR HEALTH AT THE DOOR! Not for the faint of heart or those with medical considerations. The dishes are loaded with flavor and that means a generous helping of salt and fried options. What we ordered and shared family style: CRACK fries: we LOOOOVED the CRACK fries - not only the taste but the fries stay uniquely cripsy even after rit cools a bit. 5/5 Moco Loco with Mochiko Chicken: the gravy was requested on the side - glad I opted for this as it was more saltier than I expected; drizzled a fraction of it on the rice for flavor. Generous helping of rice. The HAWAIIAN FIRE WATER (squeez bottle sitting on the table) paired AMAZINGLY with the Mochiko chicken. I enjoyed this pairing more so than the Moco Loco gravy with the rice and eggs. 4/5 CRUNCHY CHILI GARLIC CHICKEN - tasty but boy oh boy is it filling since it's batter held the oil. Comes with a side of MAC salad. A bit too rich for our bellies but no complaints on the taste. 4/5 MEAT JUN - entree available the day we came but don't see it up on the other Yelpers photos. Beef pan fried with a side of soy based dipping sauce. Comes with a side of MAC salad. 4/5 SHAVED ICE - ooh wee! This was a great end to the meal for my girls. They enjoyed the three flavors of mango, guava, ramune - a ring of sweet kazuki beans and a wooden stick of Mochis at the peak of the frozen ice. 5/5 Salmon/Avocado/Eel/Spam Musubi: 10/10 - rice was nicely seasoned and all the flavors just went together so well. Took it for snack later in the day - so very satisfying! Definitely plan to return for the Kayla pork, and try out some other musubis!

Overall: 4/5 Ordered the kalua pork plate and a side of fries. The fries were thick cut seasoned with furikake. Excellent crunch and good flavor but thicker cut fries are just not my preference. Kalua pork was plate was good. Very large portions with a ton of pork. Pork had good flavor and wasn't dry like kalua pork can get sometimes. Cabbage was fine and Mac salad was good, very mayo heavy. A bit too wet for my personal taste. Will definitely come back to try the other plates, and shave ice. Would also love to try their musubis, but they were sold out for the most part by the time we showed up.
