I saw a truck of theirs advertised on craigslist and cars.com that they have a 2005 chevy colorado ZQ8 available in red, which I want. so I message them on their site and get a text back from "kyle" that tells me "I see you are interested in the red chevy colorado, it will be here to look at tomorrow morning when you come". So he even calls me as well the next morning of 12/3 at 8:49am and even asks me if I am coming in to look at it still. I said "yes I will be there at or around 10:30". He goes "ok it will be waiting for you" no issues. Was ready to go. So I get there at 10:34 and there is another person looking at it. I already think to myself "oh boy..here we go" but it couldn't possibly be somebody that bought it. right? right? Wrong! As you all know I messaged quality auto sales' saleperson "kyle" and we even talked about me coming. Said it would be on hold, so I'm wondering why another person was looking at it. I go in and introduce myself and say I'm Brian to talk to Kyle. Kyle tells me that somebody else is looking at it. I ask him "why? why is somebody else looking at it if I reserved it on the phone and you told me you would hold it until I came?" he said this guy just came in right now off the street and is probably going to buy it. So anyway, I ask if I could take it to my mechanic that I take ALL my cars to to get checked out before I buy them and they tell me that's too far to take it because of "liability reasons", which is understandable but I even said one of them can drive with me there so they can SEE I'm taking it there. They wouldn't budge and every single other place that I wound up buying my vehicles from let me take it to my mechanic so I can have it checked out. If all was well? Then I bought the vehicle. If they let me do that at quality auto sales, and they had nothing to hide, and the truck passed an inspection as it did on carfax? all would have been well and I would have most likely gotten it. But I didn't have the chance to test drive it! I didn't even have the chance to go over anything or even see. He said he would hold it for me, I messaged him FIRST, the guy who "came in off the street" did NOT. and they "sold" it to him probably so they could pull an impulse/panic buy thing where the "guy is looking at it you better hurry up!!" instead of being straight up and negotiating a deal with me. The most unethical, immoral, low life and sleezeball moves ever! Do NOT go here to buy a car, go somewhere else. They will not be straight up with you and play games. I don't play games, I get stuff done. If they don't want my money? They don't get it. btw, I told them all of this as I'm saying it to you, straight to their faces. I even told them what's the point of having a message and "holding" if you don't even hold it for another person? I told them all this and they didn't know what to say and kept telling me "stories" hoping I would stick around. Really laid into them and chewed them out, which is exactly what these types of people need. to be told off to their faces hardcore. I hope it was that game where the other guy wasn't really a "buyer" and was just pulling the old "oh he bought it for this price" hoping I would impulse and panic buy it for more. why do I hope? so they lose out on a good honest person giving them thousands of dollars of hard earned money to buy a truck from them. I hope no good people go there and they get nothing but sleezeballs because that's what they deserve. Completely pathetic and the lowest thing to happen when buying a car in a while. This is my first time ever feeling the need to give a business a review. I took my car in to get…read morethe power steering lines replaced. I picked up my car right before closing. The next morning I noticed a bracket sticking out the top of my hood. To my surprise it was a bracket that holds down the power steering lines. After realizing they forgot to reinstall it, I took a closer look around where the work was performed. The front right wheel well/bumper was missing a clip and flapping in the wind. There is also a splash bracket missing. All these items are parts that had to be removed in order to put the new power steering lines in. I fixed the rest of the issues myself. When I called to ask the manager if they had the missing bracket his response was "we have master mechanics here and any bracket that we take off we put back on." Well attached are the photos... I sent an email as well to see if they had the missing bracket but no response. My power steering does work fine, but everything else being wrong/missing doesn't give me peace of mind. Based on other reviews this family business, with a good reputation, was sold and a lot of the good mechanics left. I wish I had read that before taking my car there. Edited based on owners response below: You can see the two circled bolts where the missing bracket was. About 1 inch above where the bracket was is the power steering lines that were replaced. By saying "You emailed pictures of the bracket and it is not in the area we worked on" is clearly not true. It 100% needs to be removed to access the lines. It just goes to show this place will not take any blame for anything and is dishonest. I never received a call/email back after I emailed the photos. Take my car back to get looked at? No thank you. I fixed all the incorrect work myself. It's not even about the missing bracket, I already replaced it. The company's response and how they handled this situation goes to show how they are unapologetic and constantly deny something possibly could have gone missing.
