An okay ice cream place but definitely not work the greater than $5 price tag for a small single scoop cup. We also had bad luck with the employee. He had a major attitude and rolled his eyes when we asked what one of the flavors of the month was. Then we waited for him to offer us a free sample but he didn't so we had to awkwardly ask. With an attitude he gave us a taste, even tho we asked for only one sample for us to share. We didn't like the flavor so we decided to try the Maple Butter Walnut and that flavor was really good! So we ordered a cup of that flavor. The employee took us over to the register and with an attitude, took our money and walked off. Not even telling us where the spoons were. Now he may have assumed we knew where they were but usually they tell you. I say we had bad luck with that employee because there was another employee who seemed much more personable. In fact, we overheard him help the people behind us and he said, and I quote "you can have as many samples as you want." You would have thought the samples came out of our employees paycheck he was so stingy with the samples. And did I mention it wasn't even crowded and there was no one in line behind us so there was no reason for him to rush through us and not offer us any samples. I ordered a small cone with strawberry rhubarb and banana cookies 'n cream. The strawberry rhubarb flavor was good, but I didn't really taste the rhubarb. The banana cookies and cream was delicious and packed with Oreo cookies. One star lost for prices (they're a little high). They were really good, but didn't have that ultra-creamy texture and flavor like some of the artisan ice cream brands do that are popping up lately. The employees are very friendly, but i don't like how you can't see the ice cream on display. It's all hidden in freezers behind the counter. This kinda takes the fun out of going to the ice cream store, so I wish they would've had it on display.
