I really love the food from here, and it keeps me coming back. However, the delivery takes forever. Over an hour, usually an hour and 15 mins, every single time I've ordered and the restaurant is less than a 10 minute drive to my house. It doesn't take over 30 minutes for any other delivery restaurant in my area. I am usually annoyed and hangry by the time the delivery guy gets here, but hes so sweet and looks about 19 years old, so it is hard to be rude to him. They were our go-to place for Asian food. But in the last four or five months, the food has disappointed us greatly. The quality is such that the food for carry out arrives tasting old and cold as well as just not good. The last time we ate in, my soup was just greasy with no flavor, the waitstaff never came back around to the table, they got our order wrong twice and the taste of the food was just bad. We really like J.Y. Bamboo's sushi! It's also a great price for the quality you get. Have yet to try anything but sushi from here. The rainbow roll and pink lady roll are so good! We also really love this place because they deliver! . Sometimes delivery does take a while. Plan on about an hour. Since the original review we gave then two more chances. One fail. One success. Tonight was to be a third opportunity for them to really sell themselves and make us loyal customers. They failed miserably, and there absolutely will not be another chance. We placed an order for delivery nearly an hour and a half ago, paid with credit, awaited the delivery. It didn't come. Upon calling the store we were told it hadn't been made and it would be another 30 mins. We cancelled the order. Never again. Dear owner: If you cannot handle online orders with delivery then you should shut down that service and do what you already do and prioritise dine-in customers. Both dine-in and delivery customers should receive the same treatment by you. You fail to do this. And for these reasons you have permanently lost our business. read more

A nice little place surrounded by some fast food chain junk. I was a little skeptical considering they serve a bunch of different cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc.), but we ordered a wide array of things and enjoyed them all. I was here for lunch and in the absence of cashew chicken, ordered the Szechuan chicken. It's usually spicy, right? WRONG! It was covered in a thick red gooey sauce that was cloyingly sweet. It was like sweet and sour sauce that had been thickened and had an extra five pounds of sugar added. The hot and sour soup was decent. That's all I can really say that is positive. The fact that you can get sushi as a lunch special totally makes this for me. They deliver, which is a plus, too. Dine-in offers a tranquil atmosphere and gorgeous presentation of the dishes. I had asked for a Fried Rice with more veggies and a Hunan Chicken with extra spice and no corn starch- and my Fried Rice arrived with plenty of veggies, my chicken with a nice amount of spice (although a tad too sweet for me still). Years ago, when this place first opened, they immediately stole our family away from another similar restaurant. The food was fresh and freshly prepared, everything was great including the service. Over the last couple years the place has suffered. Service has taken a nosedive. the waiter that has been there seems not to care and comes off as rude sometimes. The food was still pretty good. This last visit I noticed how dirty the place had become. My shoes stuck to the floor! You could hear the carpet peeling away from my shoes as I walked. disgusting. The floors by the bathroom were worse. The floors were so sticky, that the gravel outside stuck to the bottom of my shoes when I walked outside. Manhattan roll is the most amazing roll ever. Also try the spicy tuna or chicken pad tai. This is my friend and I's favorite sushi joint in town. Service can be good or bad depending on who is working. But one thing is for sure- the food here is always delicious! Maybe update their restroom though.. Kind of like an out house feel . We've eaten here several times since the restaurant opened, and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is simple and relaxing, the staff is friendly and attentive (although not overly so), and the food is top-notch. So far, I've eaten off the thai menu, the chinese menu, and the sushi menu. All have been delicious. Their spicy foods are properly spiced - not too hot that you can't taste the food, but hot enough that you need to drink a little water with your meal. The thai food is about as good as any I've had anywhere, including some $50-per-plate restaurants. Last night I enjoyed the Basil Chicken off the thai menu and the hot and sour soup. Their soup is done well, no complaints here. My only (minor) complaint is that the sushi is priced on the high side of acceptable. Most of their specialty rolls are over $10, although the standard rolls are all reasonable. The lunch specials are very well priced and provide a good amount of food. read more
