Had this for lunch. They have great lunch specials. The portions are huge. The food tasted great. I had plenty to take home. The atmosphere is nice. There was light music playing... it was relaxing. The waitress was nice and quick.

Great. A little pricey, but comparable. It is great to get a couple of sushi rolls for lunch. The sushi has always been good and the Chinese entrees I've had had also been good. I want to keep trying other things on the menu! It is a great local spot that I will continued going to and supporting!

We came here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. Although we were late for lunch specials (I think they end at 3 and we arrived at 3:30) they made those offers available to us and we had two great choices!! The Mr. had "one of the best" plates of General Tso chicken he's had in a while, and I had a three roll sushi special. My sushi was ok/not bad, but I had a bit of "diner's regret" and was wishing I had gotten one of their Thai or Vietnamese specialties instead... We don't make it over to Fairborn's "Asian Alley" nearly often enough, and I really SHOULD have taken them up on one of their interesting curry options, or one of their many more adventurous (at least more adventurous than you can find in Springfield...) options!! NEXT time!!! Great service (this is really a "dine in" kind of place, I think, rather than a delivery spot, and reviews of their delivery service might agree...) and reasonable prices. Pan-Asian means something for just about everyone. We'll be back!!

This restaurant is pretty good. 90% of what I've ordered from J.Y. has been pretty great. At least.. the sushi is good. That's mostly what I order here. I've ordered their dim sum appetizer before, and I would not recommend that. The dim sum pieces were super brown when they came out. And they were small and dried out. Like, it's not something they serve often so it was on its last life. Most of your dishes comes out with your choice of either, egg drop, won ton, or the hot & sour soup. Between the egg drop and the won ton soup, I would recommend the egg drop soup. Only because you only get one piece of won ton and the rest of the soup is broth for the won ton soup. There wasn't anything else in it.

Looked up this place before going on our little trip to Dayton and sooooo glad I went! It's a small…read morespot that's connected to an Asian mart and bubble tea shop. There was plenty of parking and signage. They have a varied and very authentic menu to choose from! We ordered a broth based lo mein noodle bowl and a hand pulled cold dry noodle bowl. BF added on a braised egg and I ordered a Taiwanese sausage on a stick. Yum on all accounts! Chili oil was automatically brought to us and the waitress was super friendly as well as bilingual. Food was brought out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. YES!! presentation and taste were perfect. Their prices and portions are reasonable and I love everything about this place, down to their cat portraits adorning the walls! Wish this place opened a location in Cleveland! I saw that they have spots in Cincy and Cbus!!

A hidden gem in Dayton, of all places. I haven't had many Asian restaurants of any kind that tasted…read moreauthentic in Dayton, but this is one of the few. The noodles are actually made in-house and have a lovely texture. I got the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and was definitely not disappointed. The broth is light, but full of flavor at the same time. It is truly very comforting on a cold winter night. I think the beef slices on there are a bit tough, but it's not too big of an issue. The portion sizes are actually crazy. I got the regular size and could finish maybe just half to 2/3 of the noodles, along with a majority of the beef. I can't imagine how massive the large bowl would be... For health, I also ordered some stir-fried bok choy. This was stir fried well, but I'm not really sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be. Is it garlic? Is it spicy? I couldn't really place it. The prices are very fair for the quality of food they provide, and service throughout the night was decent. I will probably be back again, if I visit Dayton! Look, this is probably one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Is it totally authentic?…read moreNo. But, for this style of Chinese it's really good. We ordered take out twice recently because we're busy and it's close to where my son has practice these days. We went in to pick up and it is nice inside. I used the bathroom and it was clean, which I appreciate. Our last order was crab rangoon, siu mai, wonton soup, pepper steak with onions, shrimp with broccoli, general t's chicken and fresh garlic chicken. I'll start with the crab rangoon, it is a little sweeter than other places, but it also has more flavor since they actually use scallions in theirs. It was really good, although one of the kids didn't like the sweetness of it. The siu mai though? Everyone loved it and we will definitely order those again! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and plump, so good! The family fought over the leftover wonton soup, I ordered two quarts because there's never enough for our crew. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the fresh garlic chicken, it was a LOT of green peppers which isn't our favorite. Someone did go in and eat all the leftover chicken though...lol I noticed when ordering the last time that they also have Thai food, which I really want to try.
