the new night worker lady is not it. i pulled through the drive thru at 10:30pm on 12/26 and she refused to take any orders unless it's door dash and when i asked for an ice water she gave attitude and claimed they "don't give out ice water anymore". i've been going to this jack in the box for many years and have never been refused WATER of all things. all of the employees were also just sitting in the dining area doing nothing at all. bring back the other night worker lady! read more

Ordered a Junior bacon cheeseburger and there was ketchup slopped all over the outside of the bun and inside the wrapper (looked to me like it was done on purpose out of anger or just being disgruntled), so I tossed that shit out the window. Such a horrible experience all the way to the top! It's Saturday night and I'm with a group of friends. We all decide to order from Jack and I volunteer to pick up the food. When getting back to house, we noticed a lot of food was missing. I asked for the food we had already to be remade since it was cold at this point. Didn't get his name but the 18 year old shift leader informed me that he didn't want to remake the order because we were responsible for checking our order before leaving. I had a vape pen in my hand for nicotine and he implied that I probably forgot because I was high. I took a lot of offense to that he imply something like that. Informed him that this whole experience was bad and he just kept referring to that he was only 18 and inexperienced... maybe you shouldn't have took on the role of a shift leader if you can't handle something so simple. I finally get him to agree to redo the order... or so I thought.. waited 20 minutes, saw many cars come and go.. still no food. Informed him I would be speaking to management about this. I call and leave a couple messages for Katina Garcia (store manager) no response. Calling in again and finally was able to speak with her. Let her know we didn't get our $32 worth of food and explained the story to her. She said that I would be refunded and that she would give me 2 large combo meals for the inconvenience. I agreed. Go into the store, she's not there and they had my name written down for 2 free combo meals that I had to get there and then and no refund...wasn't hungry and still want my money back from my original order. So I didn't take the food and asked for her to call me back. Still haven't heard from her so I called again today. Of course she isn't there again. Only option is to let you know about the horrible service you'll get when coming to this location. Mr. Box, you need to reevaluate who's in charge of this location and their decisions on who they put in charge. Keep the $32 and your 2 free large combo meals. First I'll say this is my first time at this location and it will be my last. I'm familiar with too many other Jacks that are way better than this one, so won't be back. The one star is at least the employees were nice but this place just was not together today. Also I was coming from a fasting lab appointment so I wanted some food now, lol. And needed to get to work. Anyway I walk in and just one customer in front of me that appeared to be in the middle of an order. Great, another 30 seconds to process her right and I'm next. Well not the case. The employee could not figure out how to work the coupon on the register and was having serious trouble. Almost several minutes later couldn't get it to work. Then the real stumper. .....the customer wanted to know what was on the Jumbo Jack so she knew what to have removed from the sandwich. Two people were now behind me, management oblivious. Drive thru had processed 6 cars already, yes I was counting. Well the employee was frozen and said she didn't know what was on a Jumbo Jack!? and would have to ask! OMG. She asks the manager who finally comes over and sees now three people behind me , and also girl asked her about the coupon. Another ten minutes going by while all this is happening and manager takes over, then she flubbed up coupon and had to do a rering . Finally my turn and I'm just getting ready to order when the customer who was ahead of me comes back up to counter and says the soda machine isn't working. . Manager stops my ordering and has to fill this persons drink, then back to me. My order goes smooth but then she hands me a cup for my drink. I'm like what am I do to with this, the machine isn't working. She filled my drink and I went to sit down. Then I used the restroom which was out of paper towels. I go out and my food is brought to me and yes the food was very good. Meanwhile I'm watching all this commotion as orders are taking forever. The customer ahead of me walked up and asked some guy where her food was. He said I work the drive thru, I don't know. He said he'd check on it and he did and gave her the order. The drive thru guy was smooth and expertly handling all his orders, seemed to be the only one who was awake. As I sat there eating I observed the manager and the employee who had coupon trouble continue to hand out beverage cups to customers and have them walk away even though they knew soda machine wasn't working. I don't get that. Lol. Then each customer would try the non working machine and then have to approach counter again to get their drink. When I was leaving the machine was working again so I got a refill. Anyway just too much of a long wait and too much of a headache. Not fast food for sure. This is my go to Jack in the Box location for whenever I want Jack. The one in Wildomar, and the other two in Murrieta are missing something that this specific location has and that's consistency. If I could give negative stars I would, the line at night is RIDICULOUS!! I sat in the line for close to 20 minutes and had to have the guy behind me back up to let me out. I gave up after that. I went back again around 11pm to a long line again, after close to 30 minutes I finally made it to the drive threw speaker and the worker told me they were closed. This is one of my favorite stops after going out late night. Always open and always tasty. Much better going in then coming out, but great whether drunk or hungover. The tacos are always cheap and greasy (just like I like my men, j/k) and the jalapeno poppers...mmmm....I could go get some right now or anytime a day for that matter. Nothing too special, it's a Jack in the Box. But it's a very new Jack in the Box with a bathroom cleaner than even my own. There's something to be said about an establishment that cares enough to keep their restrooms clean for customers. Great location, very close to the 215 freeway, in a newer strip mall center in ever-expanding Murrieta. I don't often stop in at fast food restaurants as I like to make use of the drive thru's, but needed to make a pit stop in between appointments. It's a little irritating. Part of my doesn't really expect too much because it is a fast food restaurant. However, there are certain things that any reasonable customer would expect from any business. Tonight, went through the drive thru to place my order. The associate was friendly and pleasant. She took my order verified it back to me. So far, so good. At the window, I paid for my order and received my receipt and food/drink. I ordered the new $6 Munchie Meal with a small Dr. Pepper, no ice (since I don't like my soda to be watered down). I get home with my goodies only to find that my soda wasn't filled up to the top?! The level was about an inch from the brim of the cup. Is it me, or does this seem ridiculous? Just because I ordered my drink with no ice, I deserve less than a full cup of beverage? C'mon man! This is the worst managed place I've ever been to. I drove through tonight and ordered a number three with a large cherry Coke. I have a brain aneurysm and cannot have aspartame. When I got home I took a drink of the day at the soda and it tasted weird I took a second drink still tasted weird I called the Jack-in-the-Box to ask what they gave me because it was definitely not a cherry Coke the restaurant is less than five minutes from my house the girl could not remember what she gave me. The manager didn't seem to care. I pulled out the receipt and it said Coke zero Cherry I could die from us if I hadn't have noticed. I usually go here 2xs a week when I get off late from work. Biggest pet peeve when I go is when the drive thru totals my order before order is complete. That is rude. Second when saying, " Will that be all?" I worked fast food as a teenager, I know they train you to have some sense of customer service skills. Me and my spouse plus our two room mates came into Jack in the Box for some dinner before our movie started. Service was great and quick plus Austin the cashier was super friendly. Another cute boy who was taking out the trash was very nice as well. The managers were super nice to give us to go boxes for our food we didn't finish as well. This will be my new favorite Jack in the Box so keep that professional and polite service because we will be returning. The inside was extremely clean for a fast food restaurant as well usually Jack in the Boxes can be kinda gross but this one had clean inside and clean parking lot. read more

I have to give the Jack, 5 stars for always having fresh Ice Tea. Its a regular staple item for me and its a rare occasion that I get a old brew of Ice Tea from Jack. Also can't complain after I fill out the online Survey and to get Two free taco's for a small snack, thats not bad either. Are they as good as home made taco's, probably not but if you want fast food, then you better be prepared to sacrifice taste and quality. read more
