For only being remodeled a couple years ago, this is one of the worst Jack-in-the-Box locations anywhere. Food quality is horrible. They never get the order right and they take forever. Today I ordered two tacos and got home to two tacos with no lettuce and one was so badly stuck to the wrapper that when I tried to slide it tore apart in several pieces. These two tacos had obviously been sitting there for long enough that the taco had completely adhered itself to the wrapper. My burger tasted like Doodoo. Chocolate cake well it was OK. They made the drive-through so long just for a milkshake but they gave me a chocolate cake for free. I think they should answer more fast to drive-through orders. The service was OK the ambiance was ok. read more

They must have new people because the guy who took our order and delivered food at the drive up was awesome. They're always forgetting an item that you ordered or making it wrong. They take forever in the drive thru. Their sodas are awful! They don't taste good at all, always very flat. The restrooms inside are very disgusting, the floors are sticky, writing all over the walls and floors. The toilets are scary to even get close to! Out of town and went to this Jacks because it was close to where we staying. Went thru drive thru and screen was blank and wondered if they were open. After about 2 minutes I get a "what's up? How can I help you? Then laughing. Caught me by surprise. Ordered saucy popcorn chicken combo with curly fries. When we got the order it was non sauced chicken with regular fries and cold. Like exactly the opposite what we ordered. Seeing other recent reviews seem like the present employees and their service is subpar. Drive thru was going quick and the food was coming out fresh! Shoutout to Kimberly, Jose, and Lalo for putting up with all the orders and still trying their best!! I asked for extra lettuce on my tacos and everything was better than I expected. Too many reviews bashing on these workers but they forget that Jackinthebox gets so many cars all at once during their rush and not everyone is nice so i can see why they appear "rude". If I could give them a no star, I would the ladies that took my order was nice ,but that was it..They took forever to get our food and there was only two of us in the drive thru and there was no one inside the restaurant either. She made us wait by the front door and all of a sudden a big rig truck came in, I'm guessing to deliver your guys stuff and instead of driving safety he almost crashed into my car with my kids in it we were stuck between the building and big rig I told him to move he eventually did and I drove around him.. he seemed in a rush because he got out and started pounding on the door..very disappointed with this location. We ordered 5 meals and they gave us the wrong meal and we were missing a burger at the drive thru. They asked for our bags back and they proceeded to give us a hard time. They were very defensive. They asked us what other bags we had in the car. (It was a gas station bag with snacks in it) My husband and I knew then that if we continue we were going to have an argument with them and risk something happening to the food since they took it back. So we just said everything was fine. And they gave us back the food. Sure enough a bug was in one of the burgers. And we did not eat any of it. I don't know who the manager or owner to this jack in the box is but it has gone downhill big time!! They never have lemonade or ranch anymore then they ran out of napkins, so they gave napkins from the bathroom and the fajita pita had only two pieces of chicken in it!! The only saving grace is the drive thru worker who is always nice bc I'm sure she feels bad that they are out of everything all the time. When we arrived to dine in, shortly after 4:00, there was no other customers in the walk in dining room. After a few minutes, one of the female employees came up to take our order. She never put it in the computer and states I will be right back. She completely disappeared to the back. Nobody else acknowledged us.. We waited for another 10 minutes and she finally reappeared from the back. So we finally gave our order. A few minutes later, we got our food. It was awful. There was so much mayonnaise and mustard on my hamburger, it was dripping everywhere. French fries and curly fries were ice cold.!It was the nastiest food ever. Waited in drive thru over 30 minutes with only one car in front of me at 9:30 AM!? When your customer is waiting that long, have them pull to the side so others can decide whether to wait that long as well or leave. Not everyone wants to wait in a drive thru line in the morning for over 30 minutes. Luckily McDonald's breakfast was still open and it literally had double the amount of cars in line; still got food quick, hot and made right. Do better. This place has gone down hill so bad. The monster tacos are a good buy. They are large. They taste good and a good buy. Special sauce's are available.

Food service has gotten better I've seen that they brought the 2 kids with the glasses back I think one of them is named Gabriel always getting my food ready I ask what changed and said that the old manager quit that's why the service is getting better because she didn't know what she was doing. I walked into Jack in the Box today and I didn't know what to get and there was this worker who was wearing glasses and also had an Apple Watch. She recommended for me to get popcorn chicken with the sauces on them with the curly fries in the box as well and I have to say it was very good. Can you give a negative star? If I could I would. I was hopeful it would change with the remodel but it hasn't. The training or lack of is VERY apparent for this establishment. The staff, the service, the pace and the correctness... to name a few are horrible. They are all issues. I don't know what it is eXactly but I can tell you they are slow, you will repeat yourself 3 times, they will hand you the bags open and ready to rip, you may or may not get all you ordered, and even if you do, you will wait the same for a chicken nugget meal as you will for an order for 20. Super clean and great/attentive service. Just traveling through and our food was given fresh and hot! Employees were very friendly and greeted us as we walked in. Bathrooms were extremely clean as well. Note that there is a sign that claims that they check the bathrooms hourly and if there is an issue, let an employee know. It definitely shows. read more

This place is a disgrace. Food was ok but the Staff could not have been worse. She practically "threw" my change at me (coins dropped on the concrete) and then practically "threw" the bag of food at me. No smile (yes, we can tell behind the masks). Please teach your Employees that without Customers there would be no business and how Customers should be treated. Never an issue at the other Jack in the Box Restaurants but only this one. I use the Drive Thru and have never been inside, though when driving around on my way to the Big Lighted Menu Board, it seems pretty clean and well manicured inside the store. I enjoy using JIB's Drive Thru's because they do something Awesome. They put two, I say TWO Big Lighted Menu Boards out there. So you can check out the menu before getting assaulted with the "Welcome to Jackimbox, Wanna try the new blah blah whatever?" pitter patter. You can get your head straight before ignoring their Corporate Edict. And their TV commercials featuring "Jack", the big headed "President" of JIB are pretty funny too. And they're open 24 hours! From their expensive-ish sirloin burgers to "small" cheeseburgers, they make some of the tastiest fast food chain burgers out there. I even place one of them, the Sourdough Jack, as the 3rd best burger on my List of Best Burgers. They have Fries, Curly Fries, Onion Rings, Jalapeno Poppers, Mozzarella Sticks, etc. All delish. They have tacos that are legendary. No, not because they contain sardine, as is the Urban Legend but just because they are awesome. They serve great breakfast items that are available All Day Long! What a concept! None of this "It's 10:35am and we can no longer serve you French Toast Sticks, you dummy. Order a hamburger." bullsh*t. I really enjoy the Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges. Against my better judgement, I went out for a midnight burger run this past Friday night. Only thing one at that hour was Jack in the Box. The Jack on S Broadway had 12 cars in line ahead of me at the drive-thru so I went to the Orcutt Jack instead since it was on my way home anyway. Huge mistake! Ordered 2 combos, the Quad Bonus Jack combo and the Deluxe Fish Sandwich combo. Both sandwiches were disgusting and basically inedible. Neither was made to order as requested and both tasted like they'd been in the trash for days. The curly fries were lukewarm and overcooked, stale and I essentially threw away over $14 on the worst meal I've ever received from that location, most of which went in the garbage can. Not to mention, when I got to the window to pay, I only received one of the two as a combo and the quad they said I ordered by itself, which I didn't. Not sure what happened to the place after their big remodel, but I guarantee you, I will never go there again. Not ever. The store on S. Broadway is far superior in every way.
