the service is "fast" but at what cost????? there have been multiple times I've been to this establishment and they forgot part of my order... missing a drink here or there or missing a large fry is somewhat annoying but when you charge me a large and give me a small and then say you heard me say a small and then get mad about it ...... This Jack in the Box is near our home, so it's been one of our places to go when we're too tired (or lazy) to do anything else. It used to be fine, a typical Jack's, but the last several months it has just gone downhill fast. First, they've been out of receipt paper for over a month, they have been out of cups or soda or both, they've been out of the sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls for a month, the last few i=times y husband has gotten the tacos, they've been cold in the middle...we've just given up. The cooks (at least on graveyard shift) couldn't make an edible taco if their life depended on it. 3 times I have ordered tacos, and 3 times they were almost inedible, and appeared to have been sitting there for hours before being inflicted upon me. Once, I specifically asked that they make tacos fresh, as the last order had been almost inedible. The ones I got had the shells saturated in grease, and while not quite as bad as the previous time, were still almost inedible. What else? I ordered a chicken sandwich, which had a small patty, very tough, which was dwarfed by the lettuce (the best part of this sandwich), and shoved off to one side. I didn't find it until I was more than halfway through the sandwich. The idiot at the drive-thru window asked me if I wanted any sauce with my order (which included tacos and chicken strips), and when I said 'mustard', she started dumping packets of yellow mustard into the bag. Excuse me? I wanted the Honey Mustard dipping sauce, not packets of yellow mustard. This is the first time I have ever had that experience in hundreds of visits to JITB all over the bay area. JITB really needs to terminate all the "employees" at this location, and start from scratch with people who have at least two brain cells. read more

If I could give this place a negative score, I would. Food takes 10-20 min regularly, and is cold 80% of the time, and overcooked 15% of the time. one star for this dump after the drive through girl asked me yesterday, " Do you want your change?" Do you really train your employees to ask that question? Why would I NOT want my change? Couple nights ago went here ordered a couple burgers and they forgot to give me 2 items from what I ordered. Went today and told the worker and she asked what was forgotten. I then explained to her what the items were which was chicken strips and a cheesecake. In my mind, jack in the box is better than McDonald's and Burger King but not as good as in and out burger. They have a little bit more variety on the menu. I usually go with the curly fries and the buttery jack burger. Very unhealthy but pretty good. read more

Absolutely disgraceful, this is by far the worst run fast food place I've ever eaten at. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you, fool me three times and I must be a an idiot for thinking you'd change. Not only have they gotten my order extremely wrong multiple times, but just recently I forgot my promise to never buy here again, but because of its perfect proximity between home and work I decided to buy a breakfast sandwich from here. I try not to waste time on here reviewing fast food joints, but tonight just got me pissed off. I was hungry coming home from a late night and just wanted a quick burger before I got home. I pull in and place my order no problem, but then when I pull forward I find the girl at the window just talking to the guy in the car in front of me. They're clearly flirting. Okay, whatever till this guy gets his food right. But it goes on for almost 5 minutes till I hear her say, "right now, let me check." She disappears for another 3 minutes. By now, another car has pulled up to order behind me. They sit there, I sit there. She finally comes back and says "no, I can't leave" and then removes her drive thru headset, leaving the car behind me still waiting to order! The guy in front of me in his crappy red Fiero has his engine off and she is jotting down his phone number. It has now been 10 minutes since I ordered. I backed up, turned the wheel and drove off. Anyone from Jack reading this, whoever the girl you had on the window on July 7th, 2011 at 10 pm was more interested in getting some than doing her job. read more

My friend and I went through the drive-thru one evening and ordered some very basic items from the menu. We were told the chicken sandwich wasn't prepared and available, so they had us pull the car forward and wait. They helped several other customers in the drive-thru while we just waited in the parking lot where they said they'd bring us the food. After 15 minutes we got tired of waiting so we knocked on the door (the dining area was closed) to get the food. They finally gave us the bag of food and we were on our way. When I unwrapped what was supposed to be my chicken sandwich I found a regular beef hamburger. And the patty was about half the size of the bun. read more

The food at Jack isn't great quality-- it's about average for fast food-- but Jack gets extra stars for having a huge menu and serving it at all hours. It's the only place I can quickly and reliably eat dinner at 7:30am. read more

Had a really bad experience at the Hoen Frontage Rd. store, We decided to get drive thru service at this store, The Staff was not at all friendly, our food was ice cold and a burger was missing from the order. When discovering this we made attempts to contact them, Every time we tried we were hung up on, And there were far too many people waiting in the dining area. The same evening, I contacted Jack In The Box main office. UPDATE: After a few days I received a phone call assuring me that they are following up with the manager of the store, And the district manager. Slowest Jack in the Box ever!! Quality is good but wait is forever... I've given them a few chances since moving to this side of town and it doesn't matter what time of day, this place is slow!! I went to jack in the box today, Thursday February 27 and I ordered a teriyaki bowl with ice coffee, I've never had a bad experience at this place except for today, I was helped in the drive tru by a guy he looked around the age of 25-27 I'm pretty sure he had a piercing somewhere in his face and a funny haircut, his service was bad when I was ordering to the window he sounded like he didn't know what he was doing. When I got my food I paid for it and he said my card was declined when my car was working just fine. He also said it in a way like that wasn't very professional, on top of that he gave me the wrong sauce and it was opened it spilled all over my food... the worst part tho was his fingernails they looked dirty and too long.... they made me uncomfortable, over all, it was a very bad experience. Educate your workers to treat people with respect and ask them to be more hygienic. The food is pretty good tho. read more

Called FOUR TIMES and no one picked up. Had to go back twice to get my stupid burger remade because it wasn't grilled or have any cheese melted on it. They just glob in the lettuce I work in fast food and the lady didn't apologize about the incident just said we have a new cook. Don't put them on the line by themselves. Was here Sunday night Sep 11. The dining area was a mess. Every table had either left over food, paper trash, or was sticky. The floor was littered with debris. the food at jack in the box was good . but it is the people that work there that are the best .my husband parked his rental car at the jack in the box on 2550 hoen and he lost his keys between the parking lot and restaurant .we asked the manager if she could keep an eye on the car . worried that whoever found the key would come back for the car. we took the cab back to the hotel my husband was so worried and we called the next day to check on the car the worker there said the manager had wrote a note to keep an eye on the car.so every one there was keeping an eye on the car. we could not get anyone to make a key for the car till sat. it was so kind of the workers and the manager to take care of our car ,I must say JACK IN THE BOX hired some VERY GOOD PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM ! thank you very much JACK IN THE BOX EMPLOYEES ! read more

This is by far the worst Jack in the Box in Santa Rosa, and I'd strongly avoid it. Half of my drive-thru order was missing, and the part they included was made from incorrect ingredients (The patty was seasoned from a different sandwich, bun was wrong, etc.) I am appalled they think this is okay, and I'd like to reiterate NOT TO GO TO THIS LOCATION. read more
