Tried a couple of their beers: Miso Smooth (Japanese rice lager - 5.5% ABV) and Soul Fire Ultra Light (American Light Lager - 3.7 ABV / 15 IBU). Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! There was also a cupcake place (Kid Kakes) that seems to get great reviews, but with Oak St Pie Company just a few doors down... well... sorry Kid Kakes! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years. All-in-all a great impulse decision after The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ line ended up being far too long to wait in!

Loaded the Jukebox (cost money-it's electronic which is my favorite and lead us here). The Jukebox was paused and we asked for bartender to unpause it. Ordered a round of drinks and I kid you not their barback ordered this headbanging crap of music. It would be different if there were paying customers then it's a free for all...paying as in buying drinks, appetizers and playing pool. Addressed it with bartender and he literally could care less. Out the door we went. We were a group of 8, 3 had arrived 5 in route. Money walked right out of the door and if I'm the owner I'd be having a conversation with that entire crew!

The Asian chili crisp flavor was really good, and my friend's lemon pepper wings were also tasty. For drinks, I tried the Purple Haze and really enjoyed it. They also have a solid selection of beers and cocktails, so there's plenty to choose from during happy hour. The service has always been friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it a nice place to relax, catch up with friends, and hang out for a while.

They have gone up almost $5 I believe and whoever's Nonna made them, overcooked or microwaved them to death. They used to be SO good! Now, they aren't. We ordered 3 pizzas - the Bianca, the Margherita and the BBQ Arezzo. The Bianca was good, the Margherita was good but a little sparse and the BBQ Arezzo was awful. Like, nobody would eat it awful and that's pretty bad. I don't know if ingredients were bad or what but there was little to no sauce and it was just...bad. So bad that I called and spoke to the manager that offered a free pizza - NO thanks - or a refund. I opted for the refund and because we still have not gotten a refund for the 1 pizza only, I decided to write a review. We have literally been going to Earl's for YEARS and it has always been amazing. She recognized me as soon as I walked in, despite being otherwise preoccupied. I appreciated that. While the inside is low-lighting, the ceilings are extremely high. There are several TVs tuned to sports. While there is a small patio out front along the street, the better one is the larger, covered patio (door found near the bar).
