Jackie's is such a perfect breakfast place. Their build your own omelettes are mouth watering and there are sooo many different combinations you can make. They also have a very extensive menu besides the BYOOs. The hash browns are to die for and the portion sizes are awesome! FYI they do not serve alcohol. What a hidden gem! We came for breakfast and ordered omelettes. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the crab omelette has real crab in it, not imitation crab! Their portions were great, the food was delicious, and the service was fantastic! I'll definitely been coming back. read more

At first glance this place seems average. A polite and friendly staff served my family in a timely manor. We ordered a Philly cheese steak, BBQ roast beef and chicken fajita omelet. All three excellent! All three fresh and delicious. I will say the chicken was a little dry and the onion rings were just ok. That being said this is probably the best breakfast-lunch in town. :) read more

I ordered eggs benedict it was okay. What amazed me was the thinness of the hash browns in my entire life I have never seen such thin hash browns! I took a picture because I'll probably never see it again. Very cheaply made. Obviously it was a mix they prepared it correctly but the service was horrible. He wasn't rude but he was no Hustler the table was not even cleaned I had to sit down at a dirty table and ask them to please clean it....and forget about any cooperation between the help it was obvious that they did not help each other. If I own the restaurant I would definitely have a talk with them about cooperation and helping each other there should never be a table that's not cleaned ready at rush breakfast. It was so noisy. I felt like I was in a High School cafeteria it was so noisy! I couldn't not answer my phone the one time I tried I could not hear the other person Believe It or Not There was absolutely no music in the place extremely disappointed giving them the benefit of the doubt i gave three stars, because the food was okay. read more

Seriously... best breakfast I've ever had in my life! Food is insane. Would give 6 stars if I could. It was sooooo gooooddd.

Stopped at 8:00 on Wed. Not crowded when we arrived. I ordered coffee right off the bat and got it promptly and my colleague had ordered iced tea which he already had. Placed order fairly quickly after that. Food came and things went downhill rather quickly. My colleague had ordered 2 eggs, pancake and bacon with eggs on a small separate plate. Not done. His pancakes were cool as were the eggs. When we told a server that we had to wave down about the plate he came and tossed it on the table without a word. My Chorizo and eggs were OK but could have been warmer and the toasted English muffin was rock hard. Had to wave down a server for jelly holder and again had to wave down another server for a refill on the coffee (had to do so 3 times). It's a real shame with all the good reviews on here. Should be consistently much better. read more

Great place to come and get some fluffy and yummy omelettes!! I got their trainer omelette with a side of avocado and it was a flavorful meal and relatively cheap as well. The service was great and the server was attentive. My cup of coffee never for low and the chef was fast to cook my meal. read more

Stopped here on our way back from mammoth. Cute little diner. They had A huge menu, it was so difficult to choose, there are so many things that sounded good. I had read good things about their herb potatoes so i decided to go with a meal that had eggs, cheese, herb potatoes, mushrooms, green onion, bacon and topped with hollandaise sauce.. My husband ordered a Denver style omelet and my son ordered the kids meal with a pancake shaped like a dinosaur.. I love that they had different shaped pancakes for kids. The portions are huge and a bakery item came with my meal. I got the rasberry coffee cake, which was also delicious.. The service was very friendly. We would definitely stop here again. read more

First let me begin by saying the customer service is absolutely amazing! Each person provides friendly hospitality and makes you feel so welcome. As far as the food goes, each dish we have tried is exquisitely divergent. The variety of tastes blend well and leave you wanting more. I have a teenage daughter who NEVER eats. The highest compliment you can get was her "licked-clean" plate! In addition, I have some very picky eating parents and they absolutely love Jackie's Cafe. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. read more

Disappointed Food was average, the presentation of my breakfast was sloppy. (Food was delivered on on old dish that was clearly used for years). This is a great breakfast place worthy of your breakfast dollar. It's buried in the back of the little plaza on the corner of 10th West and L, but it's definitely worth the visit. Their omelettes are fantastic. I've tried 6 or 7 different kinds and they've all been wonderful. Sandwiches, great. Salads, great. If you get there and have a difficult time deciding, just get the special. You won't be sorry. As a bonus it's a small business and you can feel good about supporting them. read more

My sister, my son and myself went here for the first time on Sunday. And I have to say, the service was wonderful. Each person. Was attentive and alway ensures that we had everything we needed. They checked back with us to see how everything tasted which was outstanding. We wanted to dine somewhere that wasn't our norm. This is a great hole in the wall diner. Had lunch with co-workers, service was fast and friendly. I had the hot sausage omlette which was excellent. The herbed potatoes were good but too much dill. Everyone who ordered breakfast type food enjoyed it. One co-worker ordered a philly cheese which was very dry and small for the amount charged. Fluffy eggs are a must, and they weren't that fluffy. Average breakfast food items. Crepe weren't really crepes, they were more like thin pancakes with a loads of butte, I mean I love butter, but it was swimming in butter. Coffee was not so bad. read more

First off on a packed Sunday we were able to get a table in 5 minutes which was awesome, our waitress did a great job, her service was impeccable for how busy the restaurant was. The food ( linguica omelette for me and special ordered omelette....so I never finished this review well,fast forward 3+months and several visits::: inconsistent food portions, mistakes on orders and overcharging IMO of $4 for a side (2 pieces) of mediocre bacon has deterred me from returning. It is sad to see quality and consistency deteriorate in an establishment that did well in the beginning like they did here. Like the old saying goes it's the little things that count the most. What a truly fantastic place for Breakfast & lunch. Everything is delicious & wonderful. Where ever this chef learned to cook is amazing! It's a corner coffee shop with gourmet comfort food that has great portions & mouth watering flavors! I went in to order a takeout late breakfast. There is a counter, but not really a station for walk-ins. Nonetheless, I reviewed the menu and ordered a spinach omelet. When asked what kind of toast, I replied no toast. It took a while. There wasn't a "waiting" area, so I hung near the counter and waited... And waited... Overhearing conversations and other daily activity. Finally the food arrived to the pass in it's Styrofoam containers. One spinach omelet and toast in another container. They did provide a fork and napkin. I am not sure what it was specifically. The omelet didn't do it for me. It wasn't well done and there were large clumps of spinach still together (frozen??) and the egg seemed to have melted cheese or something. Overall, I was not impressed. In fact, I told my wife I would not eat there again. However... I did see a chef salad on their menu and am tempted to give them a second chance. read more

I've been here quite a few times, and the food is okay. I usually get an omelet of some sort. I do like that you can chose between a bakery item (their raspberry coffee cake is delicious) or toast. The customer service here has always been mediocre. The waitress doesn't look at you when speaking to you- she seems to be looking everywhere else. We've had this waitress for most of our visits- wish I could remember her name but she wasn't wearing a name tag. The food is better than their customer service but thew customer service will prevent me from coming here again. read more

The food was good. The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection so kudos to the chef. The atmosphere is that of a crowded cafeteria. Both of the servers that helped us seemed like they did not want to be there. No smiles and no nice greeting and zero personality. So decided to have breakfast with husband on way to Kaiser. Ordered Tea to drink. They have me a cup filled with water and a carafe with water. After steeping the tea in the cup I transferred it to the carafe. The water was Luke warm abs when I was ready to drink it the water was cold. I asked for more water and a new tea bag and they said they would have to charge me for the new tea bag. Very bad. read more
