As a retired customer service manager, it's common these days to see poor service from younger…read morestaff that just don't get it. Miles at this location just knocked my socks off with GREAT customer service! I was shopping at this location for the "buy 2, get 2 for free" deal on the 4 pack of my favorite beverage. There were only 3 on the shelf. I asked Miles if there were any in back-stock, and he promptly checked for me, but sadly there were none left. Privately I was prepared for the usual "sorry, can't do it" at that point, but he wasn't done helping me yet- So this amazing fellow gets 4 (cold!) individual cans to "make" a four pack, completing the deal and I happily left with what I sought, in a clever roundabout way. Happy not only that your great ad price was honored, but that a younger person totally "gets" what customer service is all about! I'll always visit this location loyally, remembering Miles and his thoughtful service. How many others like him are there, anxious to find out!

All I got was a shrug from the customer service saying "sorry this area is sketchy". She totally blew me off. Came back again to the self service check out person and told her I thought I saw the male outside with my wallet. No offers to review security footage. Nothing. 3 hours later my credit card company has fraudulent charges being tried on Amazon. Thanks for nothing guys. I won't be back and I know you could have done better. Deeply disappointed.

We have attended their Meryenda Cafe pop up and other food events as well as just going into the store to grab groceries. Those events should not be missed as they always deliver on delicious flavors. They always have great updates on their social media of what they have in stock as well as their weekly hauls of fresh produce, noodles, and more. I love that they always try to get popular, viral products too as it can be hard to find those in more mainstream Asian markets. The staff here are always friendly, patient and helpful. I have never had a negative experience and even when they are packed, they always provide excellent and friendly service. The store itself is well organized and stocked. Happy that they got a new place as the space is definitely being used well and allows them to do so much more!

The selection at the store is pretty good! I don't think they have everything everything but pretty darn close! I originally came here to get dashi powder and they had it but didn't have the dried seaweed I was looking for but had the regular snacking kind. (Can you guess what I was trying to make at home? Miso soup lol) Overall great experience and if I'm in the area again I will return here if I'm in need of anything.

I only go here for THE COOKIE and the hot bar! It's enough to give it my 5 star rating. The quality…read moreof the hot bar/ salad bar and food made to order is outstanding. The store is vibrant and inviting. Before you even enter, you are welcomed by a color array of flowers and fruits. It makes me happy. Kind of like walking into Trader Joe's! Have you seen the WF hot bar? So sad compared to this one. I've had the poke bowls, pork sandwich, Okonomiyaki and of course the ooey gooey Cookie. You've got to try it for yourself. It wasn't too busy midday on a Monday to go browsing around inside. The parking lot was easy to enter and exit without any issues. It's a bit small, but it's doable. Stopped by the cafe inside the market and ordered an Iced Lavender Matcha and the famous chocolate chip cookie 'The Cookie'. The Iced Lavender Matcha was good. However, it was VERY SWEET. You could definitely taste the lavender syrup that they used in the drink. The lavender flavor overpowered whatever amount of matcha was in the drink. The Cookie was great! Love eating them warm!

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

I love being able to reserve a Bubble outside with a group of friends for a Ladies Coffee date. It can get really busy, but it never ruins our experience. Let me start by saying I genuinely love this place. I stop by fairly often during the work week…read morearound lunchtime because it's so easy to grab a quick meal from their hot food section. The cabbage rolls are delicious, the meatballs are fantastic, and their fresh-baked breads and pastries are some of my favorites in the area. That being said... I made the mistake of coming here on a Saturday afternoon. First, the parking lot. Wow. It took me probably 10-15 minutes just to find a parking spot. There simply isn't enough parking for the number of people that come here on weekends, so everyone is circling the lot waiting for someone to leave. Then, once you finally find a space, people don't leave enough room to get in or out because traffic is coming from every direction. If driving stresses you out, I'd honestly recommend visiting during the week instead. Monday through Friday around lunchtime has always been a much easier experience for me. Inside was just as busy. The deli counter had a huge line, and the store was packed with people. It was difficult to move around because shoppers were constantly walking in front of each other without much awareness of those around them. None of that is really the store's fault--it just speaks to how popular they are--but it definitely made for a stressful visit. The reason I stopped in this time was to finally try some of the desserts, and I'm so glad I did. The honey cake was absolutely incredible and easily my favorite. I'll definitely be buying that again. I also tried the Spartak cake, which was good, but the honey cake stole the show for me. I couldn't decide on one of the mousse cakes because they all looked amazing, so I asked the employee behind the counter to pick her favorite. She recommended the mango mousse cake, and she was right--it was delicious. The white chocolate shell gives way to a light, tangy mango mousse with actual pieces of mango inside. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The only downside is the price. The mousse cakes are roughly palm-sized and around $10 each. While they were very good, I finished mine in one sitting, whereas the honey cake and Spartak lasted me much longer and cost less. Overall, I absolutely recommend this market. The food, bakery, and hot deli are excellent, and I'll definitely keep coming back. My only advice is simple: avoid Saturday afternoons if you can. You'll probably enjoy the experience a whole lot more.
