BELMAR: Jacks By The Tracks is a great spot in downtown Belmar and leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor patio. The patio is covered on top and can be covered on the sides to stay open during chillier weather. There is a lot of seating and TV's to watch the game. We love that the garage doors open up, so you feel like you are part of the main restaurant. This is great for listening to live music, which is featured almost every night. We enjoyed a couple of drinks at this neighborhood restaurant and they had at least 6 local breweries on tap and a bunch more selections in bottles and cans. There is also wine, cocktails, and a full bar. An American food menu features salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood, steaks, and more. Next time we visit, we are trying their soft pretzel. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 11:30am-4:00pm. $3 domestic drafts, $5 house wines, $5 well drinks, and buy 1 get 1 half off appetizers. The staff is very friendly and shout out to our server, Gianna, for being so sweet.

Great server named Glen. Friendly, helpful and had a great personality over all. The food was very good. I had a beyond burger. Really great sports atmosphere. Comfortable and welcoming. Pub grub at its finest!

Here on a Sunday evening. Really good music by local country singer Jessica Rose. Just had apps and they were tasty.

Dang Jacks. I love to leave amazing reviews for local businesses, especially none chain businesses, as I work for one myself. I came in today for the first time after a long grueling work day, & my bartender greeted me instantly. Made me a delicious dirty martini - the right way, most places you go to you can still see through your martini glass. People who order dirty martinis love olives. So up the juice! And he did. My unfortunately sad review comes from my experience with my to go food. I ordered the drunk clams, love me some lemon butter garlic sauce for clams - and I saw on your menu you put beer into it. Honestly, they sucked. Large clams is a bonus, but not when they haven't been cleaned. I went for 4 or 5 clams before I gave up, every bite was gritty sandpaper in between my teeth. They have not been cleaned properly, and it's Belmar, so I'm hoping you get them locally. Too much sand where it shouldn't be. And the broth was so abundant, it leaked through my to go bag and got all over my passenger seat. Leave the beer out, replace it with white wine for the broth I beg of you. The beer taste was meh. Definitely willing to come back again and try other menu items.

We had a great time at Jack's by the Tracks! We tried the pierogies, wings, pretzel, and shrimp cocktail--everything was delicious. The atmosphere was laid-back and fun. However, there was a bit of confusion when we were offered (unsolicited) 10 wings for $10 after placing an order of 6 wings for $15, the offer of 10 for $10 was later rescinded when food was brought out and set onto the table because the game wasn't on, which was disappointing and in poor taste especially since we never asked about any specials!!! Despite that, the food and service was otherwise solid, and I would consider maybe going back (probably not) two stars were lost for the whole wing debacle... it sort of ruined an otherwise great experiance, makes no sense really...

First time here. Figured we Check out the live music and catch a bite. Place was jumping. Got seated quickly outside. Service was decent for a busy scene. Ordered wings and "mile high" pastrami sandwich. Asked for wings crispy, which did not come that way. Ordered a mix is buffalo and mango habanero. Both tasted good but weren't cooked as well as we asked. Mile high pastrami was seemingly mile high. But the taste wasn't. Tasted like alcohol sprayed and then warmed up in a grill. Kinda nasty. Didn't finish it. Told waitress we didn't care for it but neither did she care what we thought lol. Would've been better just to serve it boiled not pan grilled. Or the pastrami was just overall bad. Disappointing. Music was good though. Not sure If we'd come back for food too soon.

The appetizer game is strong at Jacks by the Tracks in Belmar! We shared the drunken clams and mozzarella sticks and have absolutely no regrets. They have happy hour and live music here, too! We also received great service at the bar.

We arrived and got seated the waitress was very nice, seating was great sat outdoors and there was a live band, they played so loud it was difficult to hear my partner speak, we only ordered entrees and we waited 40 minutes for our foods to arrive , we were starving and ready to leave. The fish was ok (not worth the 40 min wait), nothing out of this world but I have to say the hero of the plate was the honey ginger carrots! Overall this place felt like a loud pub, because of the live band. Food was overall alright.

I had a great experience at Jackson the tracks in Belmar easy to find parking and great location. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks first they have a good beer selection, with a few local drafts. The bartender was friendly and made good food recommendations! Super clean inside! There are 3 areas at The Columns- the bar area with seating on the right side once you enter. Dinning area to the left is cash only and grab and go foods and drinks! Sliders, fries. We were seated on the porch for dinner! Food was tasty! Enjoyed my Painkiller cocktail! After dinner, we went to the bar and listen to the band. Great night catching up with my cousins and friends. Prices were actually really reasonable for a coastal restaurant! The Columns located across the street from the boardwalk and beach of Spring Lake! My wife and I visited The Columns and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more We sat at the bar and ordered both food and drinks. While the atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the setting, the service from the bartender made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were repeatedly ignored and had to go out of our way just to get her attention and receive basic service. What was particularly troubling was watching the difference between how we were treated and how other customers were treated. Based on our experience and those interactions, my wife and I both felt that we were being treated differently because of our race. I don't make that accusation lightly, but the disparity in service was noticeable enough that we both left with the same impression. It's unfortunate because the location and atmosphere have a lot going for them. We came there expecting to have an enjoyable evening together, not to feel unwelcome or as though we had to repeatedly work to get the bartender to serve us. Management should take experiences like this seriously. Every customer should receive the same level of courtesy, attention, and professionalism regardless of their race or background.

LATE NIGHT STOP!! Work compete, hungry, need to relax…read morebefore heading back to MD. Found this spot open with a late night bar and grill. Now what I will say is make sure you have your cash ready this is a cash only establishment which is not bad at all what you saw as a price is what you paid. Plus the specials that they had were cash only as well and they were worth the bucks. Nothing was too expensive great pricing I don't think I saw anything over $20. Plenty of drink options in the best little glasses that are complimentary of Ball, if you are familiar. As we arrive we met this really nice security guy super cool even came to check in on us at some point through the night an amazing bartender super cool great conversation great tattoos. Sorry I was tired so I didn't get a name but when you see him you will know it. So we did a little late night dipping and dabbing just got something light sweet chili wings perfectly cooked perfect flavor and adjust the right amount of sauce with the freshest celery and carrots! My partner was looking for something heavy so he indulged in the burger and the sweet tater w Pico queso. Delicious .. We remember seeing this place over the summer and all we remembered was a lot of people standing outside so we didn't realize what the bar was but this weekend we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised we will definitely be back and looking forward to it!
