Plenty of seating for small and large parties. As you can see from the menu pictures below they have many food options depending on what you in the mood for. We stopped in during lunch to test out their wings, we heard they were very good, they did not disappoint. The lunch special is a great way to sample their food, we each had our own wing lunch special, I had the 10 piece, you can get two choices of sauce with the 10pc only, my brother had the 8 piece, each order comes with a drink and your choice of fries or onion rings, great price for the wings. The wings had great flavor and were fair sized, I was very impressed with the "hot" buffalo sauce, very tasty with a small kick, I would recommend a try, I also ordered the spicy teriyaki,it was ok but my brother ordered the spicy lemon pepper that is also a hit and a must try. The french frys were criss cut and good sized portion as well. The staff was friendly, we had a great interaction with the bartender (Ash) who brought over our drinks. We ordered one dozen wings. We asked for the six flats of the order to be "mild" and the six drums to be the spiciest they have (which is not spicy at all). We asked for them to be extra wet. My wife likes ranch with hers, while I like blue cheese. When the ticket is presented, there are up-charges for ALL FLATS and ALL DRUMS, a charge for the blue cheese, a charge for ordering the wings wet. Seriously?! First of all, I had spoken to a manager at this location previously about the up-charges for separating the flats and drums to different flavor profiles. The manager agreed that I should not be charged for this and removed those charges. In discussion with the manager at the NEW Coach's, earlier today, the same consensus was relayed. STOP CHARGING FOR THIS! Look, I could understand if I was ordering six or twelve wings and asking for all of them to be drums or flats. When one orders twelve wings, which is generally equal amounts of drums and flats, why am I attempting to be up-charged twice for having one sauce on all the flats in my order and another sauce on all the drums? Why are you charging me for another dipping sauce on an order of twelve wings? You give one dipping sauce for an order of six wings. You think one dipping sauce is compatible for an order of twelve? You charge me for asking for our wings extra wet? The only reason we ask for them that way is because the wings are nearly dry if you don't. And, the little dollop of sauce that came with the wings was hardly worthy of being called "wet". I had to ask for more sauce because there was not enough to even consider them being viewed as wet when they arrived to the table. This place is going downhill; quick, fast, and in a hurry since the transition to new ownership. Coach's used to be a place we could enjoy going to and count on their menu staples being available (if they weren't sold out!). The fried green beans were in high demand. So much so that they were sold out when we went, a few times. Their pretzels were also a huge hit! The new owners removed them from the menu. I know they have had numerous requests to bring them back, but they couldn't care less. The food has gone downhill, the wait staff is not as lively and personable as they used to be, the extra charges are ridiculous, and the new owners don't give a rat's a$$ about their customers; they only care about trying to make money (while removing a couple of the best selling items on the original Coach's menu). Make that make sense! Remove sell-out items when your only focus is about making money. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the waitress was halfway attentive. Good luck with your future, as you continue to lose previously loyal customers!

The stone facade of this nearly 100-year old tavern implies major staying power, and the dark wood, very old-style interior design backs that up in spades. This place has seen many days and nights, and the staff seems to have seen every customer many times before. My server, Terry, immediately pegged me as a newbie, greeting me with a big hello and making suggestions about the food. They've got most of the usual roadside tavern options on the menu (burgers and club sandwiches, eggs and omelets, etc.), but the top draw here is the Tri-Tip and Pork Shoulder, both of which are smoked on site, and served as BBQ plates or 2 sizes of sandwiches. I ordered the small Tri-Tip Sandwich, paired with fries (though they have several other side options you can upgrade to). The meat is thinly shaved, moist and tender despite not being pink. It's glazed with teriyaki sauce and resembles the kind of roast beef sandwich you'd get in Buffalo, NY (beef on weck) or at a place like Brennan & Carr in Brooklyn. They also put mayo on the bun, and I could have lived without that (it's not necessary, as the meat is very flavorful, and the smoky accents do stand out nicely). Fries were standard issue, but very properly cooked and salted, arriving hot and crispy. They were great when dipped into the house-made BBQ sauce or the house-made Ranch, both of which came on the side. Over all, the sandwich and fries were a very generous portion, and the larger size (served to someone else nearby) was quite hefty for just $3 more. Now, I didn't see any desserts on display, but I had a feeling this was the kind of place where there might be some homemade sweetness, and I was right -- they had 4 house-baked pies available: Apple, Peach, Cherry, and a mixed berry pie called Fruits Of The Forest, which is what I chose. I could detect cherries, blackberries and rhubarb, but there may have been others in this sweet & sour filling that worked perfectly with the scratch-made crust that was buttery and savory and pretty much a perfect bite from the past. There's also a full bar with a nice selection of liquors and beers. If I didn't have to drive off the mountain and home on I-5, I would have happily spent the afternoon knocking back a few and chatting with the locals, who I'm sure gather here most days after work.
