The service is spot on. Fantastic menu that takes several visits to work your way around it.

First time at Jack's Taps and I'll definitely be back. Service was great, friendly and fast. We had the French Dip and the Reuben sandwich and both were amazing. The sweet potato fries were hands down the best I've ever had. Food came out quick, and everything was hot and delicious. It wasn't too busy, which made for a chill vibe. Good music, sports on the TVs, and 20 local beers on tap. Street and lot parking available. Solid spot all around.

Service was great. Came in right before 6pm. There was a wait. But it sure didn't feel like it. And it was busy on a Tuesday. Sat down, ordered waiter was nice and helpful. We got our food so quick. We were in and out in about an hour. We ordered calamari, coconut shrimp and the lamb meatballs. All were good. Also received some bread and butter. Our son got the kids tenders and fries, I ordered the meatloaf, but I was torn between the salmon orzo and fish and chips. My hubs got the lamb. This was our anniversary dinner and it was great. Thanks

Great place for a bite and some brew. Many tvs at the bar to catch your sports team too. The vibe is casual and service is prompt. I ordered a burger that came with sourdough bread as the bun, which sounded good at first, but about halfway through I wish I went with a brioche bun instead. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken filet was HUGE! I do prefer a fried chicken sandwich with a lot more sauce or slaw inside the sandwich. It looked more like fried chicken than a sandwich. It was a quick bite, but satisfying. I'd come here again for sure!

The Calamari was excellent. Seasoned well, tarter sauce was yummy. Garlic oregano fries were not too over powering. Love them. The margarita was okay.

What can I say? Good food, good beer. Came in to watch the game with a little bite to eat for the night. Ordered the garlic fries, calamari and half chicken. Everything was perfect and complemented our drinks very nicely. Ambiance is chill and located in the downtown area. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a change from all the other corporate breweries in the area. Our server was great and was consistent. Thanks for a good dine in experience.

Definitely a happenin' spot! This taproom is an extension of Jack's Restaurant & Bar right next door. The taproom is way more laid back compared to the actual restaurant itself. It's a great spot to catch a game or to have dinner when the restaurant is busy and overcrowded. You can enjoy the same happy hour bites menu from the restaurant here as well as the rest of their menu. They have three large big screen TV's at the bar and over 20 different beers on tap! The best part about their tap beers is that they actually offer variety! Yes, they have their standard IPA's, but they also usually keep several ales, sours, ciders, and guest beers too. They rotate their tap list pretty often, but it's easy to find something that you like. If you're with someone who isn't really a fan of beer, they have wine options too (they get it from next door). The bartenders are awesome! They will check in on you and chat you up if you're up for it. All in all, Jack's taps is a solid option for great beer and a fun time.

Service was slow tonight but they are very knowledgeable about their beer selection and super friendly. I'd normally give them a free pass if it was busy and they were the only server but the bar top had 2 people and 2 tables of 2. I ordered the gyro pizza which came out quickly and was delicious.

The food is so tasty! There's so much to choose from. Anything you want they have. I'm obsessed with their pomodoro pasta. Everything is wonderfully made! Their pot roast is amazing!

Good for a lively night out, not for a quiet conversation. Would I return? Not sure. Food: Good for what it is, but definitely on the pricier side. The steak frites were the highlight. Fries were abundant and heavily truffled, and the hangar steak was a delight. The mussels, on the other hand, were average and served not very hot, with a pretty plain sauce. The two pieces of bread that came with it weren't nearly enough to handle the whole dish. The short rib was tender but slightly dry, though the polenta and carrots underneath were a nice touch. Drinks: The tea thyme was a bit too fragrant, almost perfume-like. Tasted fine, but next time I'd probably go boozier instead. The lemonade was plain, but that's to be expected. Ambiance: Quite noisy, with a few TVs going and the bar packed. Understandable for a Friday, but we had to raise our voices to hold a conversation, even at a 5:30 reservation. Things really picked up around 6-6:15pm. Service: Our server did her job and gave solid suggestions when asked, though I don't recall her introducing herself. She kept us stocked with extra plates and silverware and took good care of us overall.

I will be thinking about the texture of this pasta + the pistachio pesto for a long time. They kept the corn pudding of the original dish at the bottom and it was such a good combination of flavors. I got chicken added on top. I got an espresso martini with gin; pretty good, just wished there was a bit more espresso flavor. Probably would order one of their house cocktails instead next time. Lastly we had the stone fruit cobbler with ice cream and a pine nut/pistachio brittle. Unlike any other cobbler I've ever had. Perfection of different textures. I ate the 1/2 chicken. Airline cut. It was a little pullet, maybe 6 ounces. Cooked well. The spicy red sauce that was under the bird was outstanding. I'd be perfectly happy to have a plate of spaghetti with this sauce. The crunchy fingerling potatoes were fun at first, but as the meal went on I couldn't finish them. They were too oily and too salty. Dessert was the recommended cheesecake. Righteous. The exterior of the big slice had a mild Crème brûlée texture and the cake itself was a heavenly cloud. The poached strawberries were the perfect accompaniment. So, is this a 5 star meal & experience? No. i put it in the casual sort'a fine dining box. Last night I ate at The Girl and the Fig on the Sonoma town square. That meal was much more delicious for significantly less money.
