Having had a few less than mediocre car cleanings here, I paid in advance to have some more detailed work done. I was promised it would take an hour and told all I needed to do was make an appointment in advance. The first time I showed up for my appointment they told me they were backlogged and that it would take 3+ hours so I had to leave and reschedule. The second time, I confirmed it would only be an hour to 1.5 prior to starting anything. They whisked my car away and 1.5 hours later when I went to check I was told it was going to take AT LEAST another 2 hours but that they'd START right away because they hadn't even started yet. It's a Wednesday afternoon. They are not at all busy. Insane. The manager was curt and essentially said I could just take my car and go if I didn't like how long it was going to take. No apologies for the inconvenience or ownership of how ludicrous it is to have someone waiting for over 3 hours for a simple dash and seat detail. I'm watching from the store room and it's been 20 minutes and no one has even started the work. Do NOT waste your time spending any money here!! I can almost guarantee based on this horrible degree of customer service that even the detailing will be insufficient. read more

I just learned my Yelp lesson. Complete up sale/hard sale on items to accompany my oil change. And, they completely drove over the alignment bars going into the wash lane. They didn't scratch the paint but I probably need a front end alignment. The VIP detail is absolutely useless, they didn't bother to vacuum the back seat nor wipe the interior. What a waste of time and money. Next time I will go to a car wash where I drive through the wash myself and use their vacuums. I will NEVER go to this carwash again. I've heard of inflation but this establishment is ridiculously expensive and pushy! They started with $150 for a car wash and then dropped to $79. I was about to through my car in reverse and Spencer showed me the $20 car wash to which I agreed. Turns out the $20 is actually $39.99. Very deceiving! Since I already paid I will get my car washed, but Jackson's has lost a customer for life!!!! My car had better be as clean as when I bought it for your prices. This location has deteriorated so much from the past. There are no instructions on what to do when you get there. You have to guess what the next steps are and where to go. We paid for the VIP wash which included inside and outside. There was only one person to wipe down the car immediately as we exited the automatic wash and he barely wiped down the windows and left the rest of the car to dry itself while we waited in line for the next step in the process. The one person who "cleaned" the car was so proud of himself when he told us he wiped down the entire car and cleaned the windows. When we go in the car, I immediately saw the windshield was so streaked and filmy you could barely see out of it. He grumpily wiped the windshield down again and then told me that was as good as he could get it. (NOT!) We decided it wasn't worth fighting over so we left. We immediately noticed the inside was as dusty as before we got there. The windows still had bug spots and there was tar still on the sides of the car. Their regular price is $32 for this wash and we got it for $16 on their 50% off deal but it's barely worth that. Unfortunately, they just lost another customer. My stepdad had gone to this car wash and came home with damages on the right side of his car next to the wheel. When the manager was contacted about the car he took a look and instantly denied that his car wash had done it. However I know it was the car wash because I had seen his car that morning and there was NO mark. I would not go to this car wash unless your car to have a rough and damaged look. read more

I would have selected zero stars if I could have. This was my second attempt to find anything positive to say about this location. Last time I went the person checking me in for a wash was too busy trying to up- sell me other services that I ended up not getting the car wash service I paid for. A real bad wash and detail. Today I pull in and the person directing me to one of the three check- in lanes comes up to let me know he doesn't take car wash orders, he only does wind shields and tinting. Okay, i open my door and start my wait for someone to come up and see what I wanted. Mind you, I was the first car in line but, the attractive lady who pulled in behind me was waited on instead. She exits and heads in to the editing room. So then the car wash guy decides to have a conversation with two of the service guys who walked up to him and totally ignore me still waiting for service. Over time the Full Carwash have been become a thing of the past. I guess now I know why. I have been going to this car was since it was once a Danny's Car Wash. Service has been slipping for years and now I will never go back. Two weeks ago the took my Jeep in to get cleaned. I purchased the VIP wash for $24.99. I took 45 minutes just to get it out of the vacaume area. When you arrive the time is stamped on the receipt. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, he apologised and explained that there was a line of $5 monthly self service pass users that had gone ahead of me and and offer to sell me a monthly pass for $49.99. I asked if that would make getting my car washed faster. No but I could save $2 if I wash my jeep there twice a month. Today I left before they washed my Jeep. The service helped me as soon as I drove up. Another employee came over and said that he could fix the chip in my windshield. I said no thank you. Evidently he did not understand the work no. This word has the same meaning in many languages. I'm guessing he works on commission because he would not take no for an answer. He asked if I had insurance and glass coverage. He proceeding in telling me that if i did that they would cover it. I once again said no thank you. This made him more aggressive and he was determined to replace my windshield. At this point I decided that washing my Jeep at this location is not worth the money and the aggravation. Now I understand why the $5 self service car washes are so successful. Jacksons Car Wash needs to rework their business plan before they are gone as well and remember that the public wants value for the service that you provide. read more

I pay for two cars to have the unlimited package. Every time I go it gets longer and longer, they blame low staffing yet the staff they have moves slower than slow. Currently sitting here waiting for my car and I'm the only one wearing a mask. When you pull up the employees are not wearing masks...if they are it's just around their neck. They also proceed to get very close to you to talk. Not cool in a pandemic. One of the managers hunted me down to try to get me to purchase a $40 chip sealant which I KNOW my windshield has a baby chip. I come here every week. As I was sitting he stood over me without a mask, talking loudly down at me trying to get me to by it. Although he was respectful as I had to turn him down repeatedly, NOT COOL to stand over me and I swear spit rained down on me. If I get covid I'm blaming this place lol. I purchased the VIP a couple of months ago and usually wait 45 min for my car. Just come prepared to be busy doing something while you wait. Besides the constant nagging to upgrade and get a detail, I'll keep coming back because it's on the way home and I need a clean car. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money! Let the 2 stars out of 5 speak for its self. I spent over 30 minuets pointing out simple things on my exterior than they had to go around and simply wipe off dust and leaves when I paid for a WAX and POLISH. The inside looks nice, I think they poured oil over everything and called it a day. They will sell you on deals that are not deals. For 120 we'll shampoo seats and wash mats and floors, polish the inside and throw a wax in for free. If I'm being honest, It's all a scam and they know that. I had a horrible and expensive car wash experience 3 years ago and promised I'd never go back. Well, I decided to give it another try today and will definitely not return. Paid for the Works $25 wash. Expected them to at least wipe down the interior of the car. I have kids and have fingers on windows and seats. Safe to say no one touched the seats with the exception of vacuuming the floors. Trying to figure out why I'd pay $25 when I can vacuum and dry through the wash myself for $8. I did show up at 445pm and they close at 530pm. Seems like it was clear that they were all ready to close up shop instead of clean my car. They also closed early before 530pm. Another reason my car as well as those of the other customers were not cleaned properly. Stick to the drive through wash here and vacuum yourself. Will save you time and $. read more

Horrible experience here at Jackson's, I would not recommend taking your car here to be washed. I recently took my car here to be washed and my rim was damaged. I spoke to management who said it wasn't their fault because their equipment wouldn't do that. They are refusing to accept fault for the damage. They then tell you to call corporate to file a claim; just so corporate can have the managers at the location call you and tell you they still aren't accepting fault and there's nothing they can do. I requested video footage from them and they said I would have to call corporate to get it. Once again just getting the run around on everything. The only thing they offered me was a free car was so I can take it back so it can be damaged some more. I don't think so. STAY FAR AWAY from this place. read more

Stopped in to wash my car and the guy at the entrance convinced me to pay for a one month unlimited option. He failed to tell me that it auto renewed every month!!! When the charge hit my card (out of the blue) this month I called and spoke to the manager who told me he couldn't refund the charge as they require 15 days cancellation. Reported this scam to my credit card company and will NEVER return to ANY Jacksons wash again. I was lead to believe that the "agreement" I signed was just my credit card charge receipt, not a GD contract you scammers! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! read more

This place has gone so downhill and in fact hit bottom. Just do yourself a favor and save 30 on their VIP and get a 7.00 car wash at Costco and get some rags and dust the interior yourself. They don't. Their intaker had the audacity to tell me (after he agreed that it wasn't touched and sent me back) to say after the fact "well it was so white from dust (it wasn't just a regular months worth and wasn't that bad) that hI nobly took the first layer off." I keep giving this car wash so many chances and I guess I'm done now, this location WAS great back when it was Danny's! I took my car here to get a replacement windshield, the company they hire out ordered and installed the wrong windshield- it was a hassle and a half to navigate with the insurance to get the correct replacement. Recently the cashier kept "accidentally" ringing me up for the wrong service and wash, took about 3 times to get it right. This one was the last straw- my sister got her oil change there a couple days ago, and the maintenance tech forgot secure the oil hose and it leaked out oil until it was almost empty! She had to bring it to the car dealer to get it fixed because the location wouldn't pick up the phone or return her messages, I mean, what else are you going to do when the car is leaking oil and nobody picked up the phone! Jackson's refused to pay for the additional services and said "you should have called us" (nobody was answering the phone). There are a couple of other instances that I won't name, but there are a couple more. So either I have high standards, or they have low standards. But one thing is certain, this location does NOT have high standards! PS if you have a coupon, they won't honor it unless it's printed, and they'll try to give you the run around with it, like "oh our computer isn't scanning correctly at the moment" so just be patient and be ready for those excuses. If you're persistent they'll honor it. But then again, I recommend literally anywhere else for wash/service read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I wished I would've read reviews before agreeing to a detail. I came for a $15 car wash and was talked into a $200 detail that would "leave my car looking brand new in two hours" I dropped it off at 1:30 and didn't leave until almost 5:30. And my car looked like they just put in a a little more effort than normal. However, it was NOT detailed. To me, a detail would include paying attention to detail. They should remarked their "details" to "extensive cleans" instead. Otherwise, you end up with more people that refuse to return and more bad reviews. Please stop taking people's time and money!!!! Dear consumers, I would like to send this warning to whoever is going to Jackson Car Wash located at 1954 E Highland Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85016for a car wash service. My son took my car there for a service on 10/25/2020, at least 5 items were stolen from my glove compartment by the server(s), since I was on vacation, did not find out the facts till 10/29. I called to report the incident to the manager on 10/30/2020, he requested to report in person on 10/31/2020, and I did. The manager promised to give me an answer by 11/03/2020 but no response was received. I have visited this car wash a number of times. They have always gone above and beyond and let you take a lap around your vehicle to make sure it's 100% the way you like it. My last visit left me in a mood of discontent and I will not be returning to this car wash anytime soon. I was in the process of selling my vehicle so needed it detailed thru and thru. One of the Assistant Managers up-sold me from an Ultimate ($39.99) to getting an Inside Detail and the Wheels/Tires for $9.99 more. Not a problem. My problem lies where when he said he was going to take tape off of the roof of my truck, he did not, making the tape stick even more. Not only that, when they waved their towel in the air, they only partially had the floor mats vacuumed and did not go over the dashboard or inside panels with a towel. NOT ACCEPTABLE! One of the main managers came over and offered to put the car thru the wash again (to try and get the tape off the top) and go over the inside again. I was already 40 minutes into this wash when he approached me. When the "job" was finished, it was 1 Hour and 15 Minutes, and there was still residual spots on the windshield and light dirt and spots on my backseat floor and mats.. There's a reason this place only has overall two stars. The prices are pretty much double what they used to be. I paid for my mats to be cleaned. They didn't do it till I told him to do it. Outside of car left with lots of streaks I had to tell them to take care of it. And for a VIP cleaning, you think they would be putting armor all protectant on the tires. That didn't happen either. The only reason I'm giving an extra star here is because the young woman that was taking care of The outside of the car took extra care to clean all the streaks on the car not just the ones I pointed out. There are plenty of other choices for car washes in this town. And....you should promote that young woman to lead the charge there. I've never seen guys put the kind of effort into a hand car wash as I've experienced at Jackson's. I live up north up on dirt roads and my truck is a ranch vehicle so it gets dirty! Once I paid the exhorbitant new fee and therefore expected better service, I encountered chaos after the wash cycle. There was quite a pile up of cars being dried. My car was placed in a line behind two vehicles. For 15 minutes my car just sat untouched, drying on its own, while the three other lines had cars that arrived after mine, yet were being serviced by the attendants. I realized that the vehicles in front of mine were receiving extra detailing/attention, one car was even dried twice by two different employees. I went in to get my truck cleaned after a fishing trip and somehow the damage you see in the pic is what I ended up with. Talked to Ivan the manager and he told it was like that and I was trying to get free work or it was after market and the blower did it. Then he said he had to look at the cameras to see and would get back to me on 2,3,4,5 days. He told me he washes a 100 cars a day and this has never happen before when I told him well it just did he called me a lier. I'm in small business and sometimes things happen but you take care of it not call your client a lier and do nothing. read more
