Been going here for years, when it was Danny's until about a year ago. ALWAYS been an excellent clean for an affordable price. Even had the guys in the garage work out some dings in the past. My boyfriends car needed a good clean and i remembered my favorite place course told him this is where we had to go. Got the VIP clean. Well we get back into the car and the first thing i notice is the windshield wasn't touched. I mean people makes mistakes but how do you miss the windshield? I thought that was it and they were super busy so i didn't want to complain so we just left. After that , i look into the back and it was pretty clear that hadn't been vacuumed or touched either. After getting home i have the car a good look and the coffee that was spilt on the passenger door was still there. I'm not even convinced the car went through the wash at all. They were doing a promo that day where you get a second wash for free same day, and we have it to a gentleman on his way in to pay it forward. Looking back we should have just used it ourselves in hope the second spin the car might actually get clean. Brought in my car for a wash and paint sealant. Heavy attempt to upsale me, had to decline the salesman approach 3 times before i even dropped off the car. Two and a half hours later the car is not yet ready, it has been sitting off to the side for the last 90 minutes unattended. When i brought it to the manager's attention he drove it to the detail line and let me know they'd get started right away. I guess 15 minutes is right away? Manager didn't offer any perk to an obviously upset customer. I cant help to think this place doesn't really care about customers. Terrible customer service. This location really is lacking a lot. First of all, if you're a monthly wash pass customer, there are NO VACUUMS for you to use after your wash. The other locations have them right as you exit the wash, but not this one. Sucks because this is the closest location to my home, so if I want a wash and a vacuum, I have to drive all the way over to the Tatum and Cactus one. Would make sense if they offered a discounted wash pass for this location only since it doesn't include vacuums. Other issues; the car wash itself is legit anxiety inducing- take a Xanax in advance and make sure your car insurance is paid up! To enter the wash you need to make this weird tight turn where you swing out allllll the way to the right, nearly scraping up against a block barrier wall, just to be able to steer straight into the wash. Once in the wash, it's sometimes a carnival of horrors- Last week while I was making my way through the wash as the leading vehicle, the wash suddenly shut down!! That's right, my car stopped moving, the water turned off and I just sat there with an employee shrugging her shoulders at me. This lasted a few minutes before another employee came by, did something to the wash and it started up again...then slammed to another halt... then started and then stopped again. Finally the towel guy waved to me to drive forward off the track with my dripping wet car. A few weeks prior to this fun time, there was another incident where they put a car in the wash ahead of me and hopped out before it entered the wash, which is normal for the cars getting a full-service wash. What wasn't normal though, is that when the driverless car reached the end of the wash, there was NO ONE TO DRIVE IT OFF! So here's my car, being rolled along and about to rear end this car sitting ahead of me, with another car going through the wash behind me! I wasn't sure what would happen if I hit my brakes because, uh, I've never had to use them in a damn car wash before. I waited in a nervous sweat as I crept towards the stopped car ahead, hoping that someone would come over and get in it. No one did so I had no other option than to apply my brakes, which resulted in my car feeling like it popped sideways off the track. Now I'm just chillin there as the car behind me is rolling up. Finally someone hops into the car ahead and peels off. I was having a bloody heart attack at this point. I pulled up and went in to speak with a manager because I figured my car had to be messed up after popping off the track. Manager reviews camera footage and says my vehicle did not slip off the track so it should be fine- no apology for the nerve wracking experience I just had. He offered to have an oil change tech look at the undercarriage to check for damage and I took him up on that. No damage. This wasted 45 minutes of my day right after getting off work, great evening for me. Again, no apology. I'd recommend going to another location or perhaps even a different business all together. read more

Well after yet another 3-4 hour sit in at Jackson's my SUV was still dirty. In my close to 4 hour wait time, I watched car after car come out with dirt still all over the outside. I also watched the cheesy salesmen try to upsell "chipped window repair" to every client. Making themselves relatable and ripping people off. The repair doesn't work and they claim that insurance in AZ will not cover it, when in fact, it will 100% cover. Now you ask, why did I sit for 4 hours? Because they don't tell you that's how long it will take. So after 4 hours, I am ready to go, so I ask them to please just give me it how it is. They say it will take another 40 minutes. So at this point I'm just done, so I ask again for my car, all of a sudden after pointing out that I've been sitting watching 4 other cars be done before mine, while mine was in the bay the whole time, they tried to make up some elaborate story about how those cars were waiting already. Then why has my car been in the bay for 4 hours? Anyway, fast forward, I'm ready to go and start complaining, all of a sudden everything starts moving into warp speed. 4 hours, both sets of my mats have not been washed yet. You'd think, that those would be the first to be washed to give drying time. Nope. Now I have wet mats, wet seats and a dash board still full of dog hair. Avoid this place at all costs please. They are over priced. Everyone is trying to get your number. Everyone is trying to upsell you on something. The optimum of cheesy sales people. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but when I do, they're either gushing with praise, or to report an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Unfortunately, this review is of the latter. Avoid this car was at all costs! They didn't even wipe down my dash and cup holders after I specifically asked them to do so. They also didn't bother vacuuming the back of my suv. My wheels still had water spots on them, and my foot boards were still showing dirt. When I pointed it out, they acted like they were doing something, but I got so fed up, I just left. Horrible service on the front and back end. The first person I talked to when I drove up even tried to sell me on getting my arm rests cleaned. If I'm paying $35 for a car wash, that should COME WITH IT! Do not give this place the satisfaction of your business. read more

I am not sure why Jackson's has SO many low reviews! Every time I have been here, it is quick, easy, and I leave with a sparkling clean car! They also reminded me about a crack in my windshield (that I had been putting off) and said that they would be happy to take care of it for me. The process was very smooth! They got my insurance approval, gave me a free car wash that day, came to my house within a few days, and even replaced my after-market tint! If you get your windshield replaced by them, you will get free car washes for a month. Not too shabby! I also love their 72 hour rain policy. The employees are always very friendly which makes the experience a good one! The only negative is that they DO try to sell you on car wash packages, oil changes, etc. but if you can look past that and just say 'NO' if you're not interested, then you're golden! Well here we are my original complaint was on 5/25/2019 Haven't been here in years, kind of disappointed got sold on the wonderful detail package and that today's car was going to be free. Mind you I was already going to get the Ultimate package. I assumed that I would have gotten a better clean up. I have been to other car washes and expected same service when you get the highest wash package. I just hope there detail when I do get it done is a lot better. I previously made an appointment for today because they recommend making one. TBH I didn't see the purpose if they where just going to treat your car like a walk in customer and put my car at the end of the line. I was going to leave but I ended up staying the whole process. I am glad I made that decision. I arrive for my appointment. My bundle that I Originally got was Premium Wax, Wheel Polish, Seat Cleaning, Carpets and Mats, Door, Dash and Console Cleaning, Complete Interior Detail Package. I added Engine Cleaning and Odor Removal. I check in for my appointment, it takes about 1 hr before they pull it in for detail. Mind you I am sitting there responding to work emails. I glance over at the detail area and the guy putting my items in a bag that I left in a door. He was rummaging through my personal items. I left a (New) Condom in my door, I saw them passing around like it was a funny joke and I don't know what else they were snooping through. I spoke with a manager, he apologized that they were making comments how I left my trunk full of items. Said to me that they said my car would be done in 25 min ! I said B.S they just pulled my car in the bay they haven't even done anything on it. If they could get through the list of things they needed to do in 25 min I would have been impressed. Of course I waited and almost 1.5 hrs later my car was ready. When I did my walk through of my car of course a hand of areas that needed to be touched up. They put a checklist on my windshield of items that they did to my car nothing has been checked off. So whats the point of having a checklist? My opinion they could have done better and the Oder Deodorizer i feel didn't work. I wont keep going on with the details. One thing i did want to note! The Condom that I left in my door that crew was passing around is gone. Its not in the bag they put my door items in and its not in my trunk and everywhere else is clean "" Riddle me this if seen by a Manager I would like a copy of your camera video from detail area on 1/8 between 11:30-3pm. Avoid this Jackson's at all costs, and ANY Jackson's "Fast Pass" deals. I made the mistake of signing up for the $30/month Big Shot Fast Pass (assuming it was for car washes and not a financial screwing, silly me), and it's a total rip off. I didn't realize "Big Shot" referred to what they'd be bending me over for. On my last (and I do mean last) visit to the E Highland location the pass wouldn't scan so someone finally came over and did it by hand. He said the tag was too high on the windshield (now they put it there, not me). I asked him how we get this corrected and he said someone would be waiting at the other end to move it down. Well apparently the unicorn that guy was riding was a wild one and ran him right past the other end, because he never showed up. I did, however, get treated to a very old man applying tire shine to about 90% of my tires (the poor guy couldn't bend over all the way to reach the bottom part of the tires) - AND THAT'S IT. Dirt on the bumpers, running boards, grille, bottoms of the doors, and tailgate of the truck, along with water drops everywhere. I grabbed a rag and started to dry/clean my truck when some scrawny bald dude comes over and says "what's the problem" like what I'm doing shouldn't make that a stupid question. I tell him I'm trying to clean/dry the rest of my truck and he informs me that this is what you get with the Express Pass - and to get my truck out of the way because I'm holding things up! I tell him I'm waiting for the guy on the unicorn to come fix my pass like I was told and he tells me to drive around to that end of the line and get it taken care of, which I refuse to do - after all, I still have to finish doing their job that I'm paying them for. He starts yelling at me to move my truck, and I'm just about done so I tell him this is effing bs and he starts muttering under his breath. I drive around to the other end (where there's nowhere to park), dump my truck in front of a service bay, walk in and tell the girl I want to cancel my fast pass to carwash raping. She gives me a sheet to fill out, which includes a section where you add your email to get a confirmation of the cancellation from them. Apparently a unicorn must be working on that as well because I still have nothing. Unless you enjoy paying for nothing but indifference, verbal abuse, and a car wash that's worse than the cheerleaders on the corner, avoid Jackson's like the plague. Got a $18 wash and the car looked horrible. Cup holders were not vacuumed. Interior dash was not whipped down. Side mirrors were left with water marks. After leaving I turned around and asked them to do the car again pointing out everything they had missed. A guy helped me but used a single wet rag and did a quick once over. Car still not clean. NEVER!! Just went to Jackson's car wash on 20th St./Camelback to get a basic car wash and was sold on an entire detail (prioritizing the interior) of my car. I was told it would take an hour but TWO HOURS later..... I spent almost $150 and have had a better job from a $25 car wash *My windshield is streaked inside and out. *Trash and crumbs were left inside both cubbies on the front doors. They even left a crumbled straw wrapper inside the door * The outside which they promised an exceptional wax still had scratches that I easily removed with a damp cloth * There was your typical debris, hair & dirt under both front car seats which once you scooted the seat back could clearly see. Vacuum broke?! * The fronts and headrest were clearly wiped down but the sides and back we're obviously still dull and not wiped down at all * Both passenger windows were smeared so bad it looked like they cleaned it with motor oil. It also had water spots dripping down on the inside which I don't know how you do after smearing it so bad. * The sideview mirrors were covered in water spots * Not sure why they put all the floor mats in the trunk but once I pulled them out my jacket and work clothes were completely soaked. Now I have to dry out the mats so my car doesn't smell musty * There were still some crumbs in the middle Consol * The backseat had been sprayed with armor all but never wiped down I don't have kids or an animal so my car is normally kept fairly clean anyway. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPT!!!! My oil change was supposed to be 69.00. I expect it to be 69.00 when I go check out. That amount was agreed upon when the ticket writer gave me the cost for oil change and wash. I go to pay and notice my bill is 75.00 without tax. I look closely and notice they charge me 3.00 for the car wash and 3.00 for an oil plug. So I contested it not because of the cost but out of principle. The girl behind the counter quickly took off the car wash fee but didn't want to take off the plug fee. I stood my ground explaining that fee should be included in the oil change. She then called the automotive guy who quickly said oh I am sorry the computer just does that and told the girl to just take it off. First of all, if your automatic car washing machine is down, TELL THE CUSTOMERS BEFORE YOU TAKE THEIR CAR AROUND THE CORNER and still CHARGE FULL PRICE!!!!!!!!!!! Just came back to my office after taking my car to get washed at lunch and NOTHING was said about the machine being down. I discovered this only after I had left my car at the vacuum bay and walked inside only to witness the machine was off and they were hand washing all the cars that came in. Not only did this slow the entire process down (I was at lunch so limited on time) but it is a sneaky way to keep business. Had I known, I would have driven away as I didn't have 50 minutes to wait for my car to be hand washed, etc... BAD BUSINESS JACKSONS !!!!! In addition to the above , I would have requested a basic wash, not a works since all you can get with people hand washing your car, is...... a basic wash! ! ! ! ! ! Total rip off, scam artists and I don't do business with unethical people or businesses. I told everyone back at my office so we will go to another car wash up the road another coworker suggested. The only reason I went here was because I had a coupon for a free full wash ($19.99 price) due to a bad experience I had the previous time. (Too long to get into here - it was just sooo bad!) It wasn't worth it - even free. My car wasn't cleaned well and even when I inspected and pointed things out, they didn't correct it well. The guy offered to let me go back through but I had already been there 50 minutes and I needed to get to an appointment. He suggested I come back afterwards and he would "remember me". This place is the WORST! I drive a lot for work, so inevitably my windshield has small chips and an occasional crack. The Glass guys here practically assault you with their pitch and are relentless to the point of having to nearly yell at them that "NO I AM NOT INTERESTED!" I went to Jackson's to get a VIP car wash; I am getting ready to drive across country and wanted a clean car. I foster dogs so there is a abnormal amount of dog hair in my car. However I do not expect miracles and I am okay with the appearance of clean. When I got there a person came up trying to upgrade the sale. I usually say no right away but they were going to do a mini-detail on my car. I explained that my main concern was the dog hair as cleaning the console is useless if there is dog hair in the back seat; it will just make its way to the console again. I then explained that I did not want to do the min-detail if it was going to take a long time. They assured me only 45 minutes and that the backseat would be cleaned! This mini-detail took 3 hours! They when I got in the back seat; there was dog hair everywhere. I don't think they even touched my back seat! What did they even do for 3 hours. They certainly were not cleaning my car. I will never go back again. I literally could have thrown my 50 dollars in the trash and that would have been a better use of my money and time! read more

This is my 1st time using their detailed service. Normally I just run it through their car wash and vacuum service. I spent $250 for an oil change, flush, interior detail, car wash and wax. This rate was a discounted by $10 because I pointed out I have a tiny car. They told me it would take an hr and half. They asked if I was waiting or dropping the car off. I told them I was waiting. THREE hours later I had to tell them to stop. I had an appointment to be at. They said only 15min more min. I could not wait any more. So I took the car. I figured 15min would mean a few things would be left. After getting into my car; 1. the seats were still wet 2. Some dust 3. visible stains 4. Polish spots 5. And pet hair I am extremely disappointed by their work. More so their lack of communication. Don't tell someone it will take an hour and a half if it's going to take much longer. I honestly don't know why I bother but every couple of years I want to torture myself so I come to a Jackson's a.k.a. Danny's car wash. My car looks about the same as it did when it went in there still dirt on the floor that they didn't wipe off you can see were my dog slobbered (and which I've cleaned up after my own dog before and it's really not that hard to clean up). My favorite part is how my car entered without gum on it and exited with gum on it and when I asked them to clean it they said no. They told me it's road tar and while I scratched it off in front of him he told me it would need a detail. Well, no detail was necessary I was definitely able to get it off on my own -- it's gum don't be lazy. The apathy displayed by employees is just incredulous. don't come here and waste your time and money. read more

I will never go here again. Here are just some of the reasons: -The "intake" area is completely disorganized with random employees milling around. There is no rhyme or reason to how they greet you and move you along the process, resulting in having to wait for 5 minutes for the one guy who's "allowed to pump the gas" to come back so you can stop holding up the line of cars behind you. Then more time wasted because I had to speak with 4 different men about the complex services I needed (gas, car wash, oil change) before I even got out of my car and each one relentlessly tried to upsell me on my carwash, my oil change, and getting the cracks on my windshield fixed. I repeatedly said no, but they just wouldn't let up. I HATE having to go through this song and dance...it's a waste of my time and makes me totally uncomfortable having to say "no" over and over. I should've bailed right then and there. -It took FOREEEEVVVVVER. I was there about an hour for those 3 things and there was no one else waiting on an oil change. -Streaks on the windshield and they didn't even wipe off all the wax crayon stuff they wrote. -No paper towels in the bathroom Generally, it's full of employees who are super inefficient and just sort of seem to be screwing around and must get lots of perks for upselling because that's all they seem to care about. Stopped to get a carwash and came out with a broken windshield,no cracked but broke. When i asked the manager he said it was like that when it went into the wash. Of coarse it was i drive every day with a broken windshield. He was very unprofessional and rude. He has no business being in management. Great car wash and friendly service. I've been coming here for years and truth be told, I used to get frustrated with the checkin process and overly-persistent up sell process. Since the rebrand to Jackson's, things seem to be vastly improved in terms of service, employees and the overall feeling here. The wash is great, the early bird discount is awesome, the frequent customer freebies are sweet, and the raincheck policy is very generous. I saw something disturbing at Jackson's today and I will not be returning. An elderly black man, who did not look homeless by any sorts but not wealthy, came into the car wash asking for a manager. Apparently the man who works the gas station was rude and possibly acted racist towards the man, if not, that is how he felt. The man asked to see a manager about the gas station attendants behavior. They lady at the car wash counter said they were not part of the gas station. They are both Jackson owned and on the same property with the name Jackson. The man knew this and again asked to see a manager. He was very upset and most likely rightly so. When a manager came they tried the same tactic claiming not to be part of the Jackson gas station. They did not treat him well and did everything they could not to deal with what his actual complaint was. Another man looked like he had been waiting to speak to a manager as well. Another lady had to wait an extra hour almost from what she said to me for her car because they didn't tell her it was ready. And then when leaving I saw some other customer who looked unhappy. About what I do not know but he was mad. I will not be returning and I suggest you do not bother coming here. On top of that my car was not cleaned inside or outside as well as I would have liked for the nearly 100$ I gave them. Seems like too many employees for not enough product. Bad business model. Jackson's did a fine job on the car but it was the upsell effort of the guy when I checked in that really bugged me. After several no thank you's on my part he persisted. This place is the worst. I've brought my Mercedes here twice and both times their equipment has pulled the side marker light out of my Mercedes. At least I took a video of it to show it was their equipment. I'm going to let my insurance company deal with getting them to repaint my bumper. My experiences here have always been terrible but today was the worst. I purchased a car wash while getting gas at the Shell right next to it. The guys working at the wash are like vultures creeping around everyone telling them their windshields have tiny microscopic holes that cause them to shatter more easily in an accident. I chose the wash above basic, no prices were listed next to it. They charged me $19 and said it would take 30 minutes. I told them I wanted to cancel and they were extremely unhelpful. When I pulled through for the $3 wash advertised the guy drying my car off told me I could not get a refund.. long story short. Don't go. I could barely pull around to get into the gas station to get my refund, which they did easily and were very understanding. I feel for the employees at that place. read more

This is the WORST CAR WASH CHAIN IN THE VALLEY. They have purposely broken parts that didn't have any relation to why I came in and then told me that if a light comes on to come back...obviously they knew of a problem they caused and didn't want to fix it, instead they tried to force to me to come back to charge me more and waste more of my time. Worst customer service. Also I can get free vacuums at any other car wash but these chains which defeats the point of coming to the car wash. I will never come here again.
