PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPT!!!! My oil change was supposed to be 69.00. I expect it to be 69.00 when I go check out. That amount was agreed upon when the ticket writer gave me the cost for oil change and wash. I go to pay and notice my bill is 75.00 without tax. I look closely and notice they charge me 3.00 for the car wash and 3.00 for an oil plug. So I contested it not because of the cost but out of principle. The girl behind the counter quickly took off the car wash fee but didn't want to take off the plug fee. I stood my ground explaining that fee should be included in the oil change. She then called the automotive guy who quickly said oh I am sorry the computer just does that and told the girl to just take it off. Now I appreciate them fixing my bill but how many others do they do this to in hopes of not noticing it. Buyer beware!! read more

Jacksons Car Wash - Pay attention to your receipt - Car Wash Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

20+ years of car washes at this former Danny's location, now Jackson's. I asked Brian up front which package I could purchase to make sure the crumbs and debris were removed from the carpets and seats. He suggested a full detail. I only asked how much for what I was asking for minus the detail. He could not advise me, and asked me to review my choices on the sign. I said "which one will make sure there are no crumbs on the carpet or seats. He suggested full detail again. And his next suggestion was to shampoo the carpets. (They are 100% clean just need vacuuming). The attached photo is how my car was delivered for $18. Ernesto and Eric took it upon themselves to remedy the situation when I explained to them that I was told to detail twice but refused a price on just ensuring the carpets and seats were crumb free. I really want to keep coming and update this to a 5 star, but things have to change. I hear this is a common problem for others also waiting for their cars. Stop the high pressure up sells and just listen to what the customer is asking for and then issue a price based on need. The entire interior was like this, only had tone to take one pic before they brought it back up front. read more

First of all, if your automatic car washing machine is down, TELL THE CUSTOMERS BEFORE YOU TAKE THEIR CAR AROUND THE CORNER and still CHARGE FULL PRICE!!!!!!!!!!! Just came back to my office after taking my car to get washed at lunch and NOTHING was said about the machine being down. I discovered this only after I had left my car at the vacuum bay and walked inside only to witness the machine was off and they were hand washing all the cars that came in. Not only did this slow the entire process down (I was at lunch so limited on time) but it is a sneaky way to keep business. Had I known, I would have driven away as I didn't have 50 minutes to wait for my car to be hand washed, etc... BAD BUSINESS JACKSONS !!!!! In addition to the above , I would have requested a basic wash, not a works since all you can get with people hand washing your car, is...... a basic wash! ! ! ! ! ! Total rip off, scam artists and I don't do business with unethical people or businesses. I told everyone back at my office so we will go to another car wash up the road another coworker suggested. Jacksons just lost my business as well as the business of 15 other people here. I also see another person posted a review on here right after they left. I saw him there ahead of me and he too was not a satisfied customer. Jacksons, you need to hire a new Manager and get some ethics training - seriously!!! read more

The first time I came here, there was an aggressive upsell by one of the employees who actually jokingly tired to guilt me because I didn't help him meet his quota for sales. On top of that, multiple cars who came in after me left ahead. I gave this place a second try and AGAIN, while in line for the express wash, an employee was extremely pushy about buying multiple washes. A car in front of us was having trouble operating the machine, holding up the line. Instead of assisting and expediting the process, an employee was vaping and the other was upselling. Finally, the gate was opened and we just opted to leave rather than getting a wash. The upselling is uncomfortable and off putting and has turned me off of this business for good. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but when I do, they're either gushing with praise, or to report an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Unfortunately, this review is of the latter. Avoid this car was at all costs! They didn't even wipe down my dash and cup holders after I specifically asked them to do so. They also didn't bother vacuuming the back of my suv. My wheels still had water spots on them, and my foot boards were still showing dirt. When I pointed it out, they acted like they were doing something, but I got so fed up, I just left. Horrible service on the front and back end. The first person I talked to when I drove up even tried to sell me on getting my arm rests cleaned. If I'm paying $35 for a car wash, that should COME WITH IT! Do not give this place the satisfaction of your business. read more

Quick car was that's a always good. They give free air freshener when you revieW too!

What happened to this car wash? I used to get my car washed here and it was nice and clean the windows were clean everything was good. The last two times I got my car washed my windows are all streaky the dash wasn't wiped off properly my car is still a mess. I won't be returning. Thanks for the memories! read more

The location has always worked well for me on camelback. The staff is friendly and I'm usually back out running errands in less than an hour. read more

I find myself repeatedly getting services here because the location is convenient, the car wash is very busy (which implies customers are sufficiently satisfied that they return), and the location next to grocery stores and a shopping plaza allow quick errands as I wait for my car. I regret my choice every time! First, the most irritating aspect of my experience is always the aggressively high pressure up-sell on car wash services. After 3 "no-thank-yous", I get pissed and feel hassled. Secondly, the car wash service is always poor to mediocre. My car is never fully vacuumed, there are always water sports on the exterior, the wheels are never fully wiped down, and the trim is never cleaned. This is true regardless of which "version" of the car wash I have purchased, including expensive detail packages. Additionally, the wait time often exceeds the time quoted and seems unnecessarily long. Additionally, this car wash sprays ArmorAll on the tires, but doesn't wipe them down. The result is that the spray spatters onto the body of my car after a couple days, leaving a greasy residue. Finally, on more than one occasion when I have had services in conjunction with my car wash, there has been a problem with my car when returned, like the caps not being replaced on my tire valves or once, my electronic key fob was broken and a piece lost (it was eventually found in the trash after the car wash first wrongly blamed me and I had to go home to get a back up key). I felt motivated enough to post a review after getting my car washed with an oil change and finding it necessary to take my car to my subscription car wash (Quick and Clean) to properly vacuum it out. Wish I could like this place! Edited to add: Oh my gosh! Even on the apology for bad service, you guys are trying to sell me a subscription! This is exactly what is so annoying dealing with your business! read more

The car wash was $27. There were still coffee stains on my passenger door. They didn't bother to vacuum around over or under the car seat. They didn't wipe down the seats. They wrote on my car door in white marker and it is still on there a week later. They never washed/cleaned it off. The exterior wash was basic. The best thing going was an air conditioned space to sit while they took 40 mins to "wash" the car. Got me once. Won't be getting me again. read more

I went to Jackson's to get a VIP car wash; I am getting ready to drive across country and wanted a clean car. I foster dogs so there is a abnormal amount of dog hair in my car. However I do not expect miracles and I am okay with the appearance of clean. When I got there a person came up trying to upgrade the sale. I usually say no right away but they were going to do a mini-detail on my car. I explained that my main concern was the dog hair as cleaning the console is useless if there is dog hair in the back seat; it will just make its way to the console again. I then explained that I did not want to do the min-detail if it was going to take a long time. They assured me only 45 minutes and that the backseat would be cleaned! This mini-detail took 3 hours! They when I got in the back seat; there was dog hair everywhere. I don't think they even touched my back seat! What did they even do for 3 hours. They certainly were not cleaning my car. I will never go back again. I literally could have thrown my 50 dollars in the trash and that would have been a better use of my money and time! read more

Been going here for years, when it was Danny's until about a year ago. ALWAYS been an excellent clean for an affordable price. Even had the guys in the garage work out some dings in the past. My boyfriends car needed a good clean and i remembered my favorite place course told him this is where we had to go. Got the VIP clean. Well we get back into the car and the first thing i notice is the windshield wasn't touched. I mean people makes mistakes but how do you miss the windshield? I thought that was it and they were super busy so i didn't want to complain so we just left. After that , i look into the back and it was pretty clear that hadn't been vacuumed or touched either. After getting home i have the car a good look and the coffee that was spilt on the passenger door was still there. I'm not even convinced the car went through the wash at all. They were doing a promo that day where you get a second wash for free same day, and we have it to a gentleman on his way in to pay it forward. Looking back we should have just used it ourselves in hope the second spin the car might actually get clean. I don't know if it's the new name or them just being busy , but definitely disappointed we had to pay 21$ to go home and clean our own car . read more

Brought in my car for a wash and paint sealant. Heavy attempt to upsale me, had to decline the salesman approach 3 times before i even dropped off the car. Two and a half hours later the car is not yet ready, it has been sitting off to the side for the last 90 minutes unattended. When i brought it to the manager's attention he drove it to the detail line and let me know they'd get started right away. I guess 15 minutes is right away? Manager didn't offer any perk to an obviously upset customer. I cant help to think this place doesn't really care about customers. Terrible customer service. Waited 3 hours for a job that my friend had done yesterday for half the time. Jacksons at Camelback and 20th street, will never come back. read more

This location really is lacking a lot. First of all, if you're a monthly wash pass customer, there are NO VACUUMS for you to use after your wash. The other locations have them right as you exit the wash, but not this one. Sucks because this is the closest location to my home, so if I want a wash and a vacuum, I have to drive all the way over to the Tatum and Cactus one. Would make sense if they offered a discounted wash pass for this location only since it doesn't include vacuums. Other issues; the car wash itself is legit anxiety inducing- take a Xanax in advance and make sure your car insurance is paid up! To enter the wash you need to make this weird tight turn where you swing out allllll the way to the right, nearly scraping up against a block barrier wall, just to be able to steer straight into the wash. Once in the wash, it's sometimes a carnival of horrors- Last week while I was making my way through the wash as the leading vehicle, the wash suddenly shut down!! That's right, my car stopped moving, the water turned off and I just sat there with an employee shrugging her shoulders at me. This lasted a few minutes before another employee came by, did something to the wash and it started up again...then slammed to another halt... then started and then stopped again. Finally the towel guy waved to me to drive forward off the track with my dripping wet car. A few weeks prior to this fun time, there was another incident where they put a car in the wash ahead of me and hopped out before it entered the wash, which is normal for the cars getting a full-service wash. What wasn't normal though, is that when the driverless car reached the end of the wash, there was NO ONE TO DRIVE IT OFF! So here's my car, being rolled along and about to rear end this car sitting ahead of me, with another car going through the wash behind me! I wasn't sure what would happen if I hit my brakes because, uh, I've never had to use them in a damn car wash before. I waited in a nervous sweat as I crept towards the stopped car ahead, hoping that someone would come over and get in it. No one did so I had no other option than to apply my brakes, which resulted in my car feeling like it popped sideways off the track. Now I'm just chillin there as the car behind me is rolling up. Finally someone hops into the car ahead and peels off. I was having a bloody heart attack at this point. I pulled up and went in to speak with a manager because I figured my car had to be messed up after popping off the track. Manager reviews camera footage and says my vehicle did not slip off the track so it should be fine- no apology for the nerve wracking experience I just had. He offered to have an oil change tech look at the undercarriage to check for damage and I took him up on that. No damage. This wasted 45 minutes of my day right after getting off work, great evening for me. Again, no apology. I'd recommend going to another location or perhaps even a different business all together. read more

Well after yet another 3-4 hour sit in at Jackson's my SUV was still dirty. In my close to 4 hour wait time, I watched car after car come out with dirt still all over the outside. I also watched the cheesy salesmen try to upsell "chipped window repair" to every client. Making themselves relatable and ripping people off. The repair doesn't work and they claim that insurance in AZ will not cover it, when in fact, it will 100% cover. Now you ask, why did I sit for 4 hours? Because they don't tell you that's how long it will take. So after 4 hours, I am ready to go, so I ask them to please just give me it how it is. They say it will take another 40 minutes. So at this point I'm just done, so I ask again for my car, all of a sudden after pointing out that I've been sitting watching 4 other cars be done before mine, while mine was in the bay the whole time, they tried to make up some elaborate story about how those cars were waiting already. Then why has my car been in the bay for 4 hours? Anyway, fast forward, I'm ready to go and start complaining, all of a sudden everything starts moving into warp speed. 4 hours, both sets of my mats have not been washed yet. You'd think, that those would be the first to be washed to give drying time. Nope. Now I have wet mats, wet seats and a dash board still full of dog hair. Avoid this place at all costs please. They are over priced. Everyone is trying to get your number. Everyone is trying to upsell you on something. The optimum of cheesy sales people. read more

Brought both of my cars there this week, second time was a second chance. They did not come through, both times. I am not expecting a detail job at all for a car wash, but vacuum the car out, wipe the dash down, clean the windshield, and wipe the yellow marking of my window as well. Deliver the service you are selling, and take care of business. Second time there, I watched the employees actually fight each other with fist, at the end of the line. Train your management and manage your business please. Readers, STAY AWAY and save your money. Maybe they will actually take control of their business, and do the right thing by managing it, and deliver the service they are selling. read more

Well here we are my original complaint was on 5/25/2019 Haven't been here in years, kind of disappointed got sold on the wonderful detail package and that today's car was going to be free. Mind you I was already going to get the Ultimate package. I assumed that I would have gotten a better clean up. I have been to other car washes and expected same service when you get the highest wash package. I just hope there detail when I do get it done is a lot better. The rep told me my car would look like brand new. This was the response from Jacksons: 5/28/2019 Damian, we are not happy unless you are. If something is missed, or not completed to expectations, please let us know right away! Our team will gladly address any concerns to your complete satisfaction. We know you are going to love your detail service, but also want you to know that we are here to help if there are any concerns Now lets fast forward to present day Today 1/8/2020 I come in to redeem my purchase back in may of last year. I previously made an appointment for today because they recommend making one. TBH I didn't see the purpose if they where just going to treat your car like a walk in customer and put my car at the end of the line. I was going to leave but I ended up staying the whole process. I am glad I made that decision. I arrive for my appointment. My bundle that I Originally got was Premium Wax, Wheel Polish, Seat Cleaning, Carpets and Mats, Door, Dash and Console Cleaning, Complete Interior Detail Package. I added Engine Cleaning and Odor Removal. I check in for my appointment, it takes about 1 hr before they pull it in for detail. Mind you I am sitting there responding to work emails. I glance over at the detail area and the guy putting my items in a bag that I left in a door. He was rummaging through my personal items. I left a (New) Condom in my door, I saw them passing around like it was a funny joke and I don't know what else they were snooping through. I spoke with a manager, he apologized that they were making comments how I left my trunk full of items. Said to me that they said my car would be done in 25 min ! I said B.S they just pulled my car in the bay they haven't even done anything on it. If they could get through the list of things they needed to do in 25 min I would have been impressed. Of course I waited and almost 1.5 hrs later my car was ready. When I did my walk through of my car of course a hand of areas that needed to be touched up. They put a checklist on my windshield of items that they did to my car nothing has been checked off. So whats the point of having a checklist? My opinion they could have done better and the Oder Deodorizer i feel didn't work. I wont keep going on with the details. One thing i did want to note! The Condom that I left in my door that crew was passing around is gone. Its not in the bag they put my door items in and its not in my trunk and everywhere else is clean "" Riddle me this if seen by a Manager I would like a copy of your camera video from detail area on 1/8 between 11:30-3pm. One thing I know went missing is my torch lighter it never leaves my car. It's all with different shades. read more

NEVER!! Just went to Jackson's car wash on 20th St./Camelback to get a basic car wash and was sold on an entire detail (prioritizing the interior) of my car. I was told it would take an hour but TWO HOURS later..... I spent almost $150 and have had a better job from a $25 car wash *My windshield is streaked inside and out. *Trash and crumbs were left inside both cubbies on the front doors. They even left a crumbled straw wrapper inside the door * The outside which they promised an exceptional wax still had scratches that I easily removed with a damp cloth * There was your typical debris, hair & dirt under both front car seats which once you scooted the seat back could clearly see. Vacuum broke?! * The fronts and headrest were clearly wiped down but the sides and back we're obviously still dull and not wiped down at all * Both passenger windows were smeared so bad it looked like they cleaned it with motor oil. It also had water spots dripping down on the inside which I don't know how you do after smearing it so bad. * The sideview mirrors were covered in water spots * Not sure why they put all the floor mats in the trunk but once I pulled them out my jacket and work clothes were completely soaked. Now I have to dry out the mats so my car doesn't smell musty * There were still some crumbs in the middle Consol * The backseat had been sprayed with armor all but never wiped down I don't have kids or an animal so my car is normally kept fairly clean anyway. Never going back read more

What a train wreck. Constant attempts to up sell. Borderline trickery. You have to pay attention to avoid getting scammed. Lack of attention to detail. My rims were not even wiped. There is no management watching these shortcomings. read more

I'm so confused how this place is still in business. All I can think its some sort of money washing business. They will intentionally damage your vehicle and ignore your complaint. The only reason I went here was because I had a coupon for a free full wash ($19.99 price) due to a bad experience I had the previous time. (Too long to get into here - it was just sooo bad!) Great car wash and friendly service. I've been coming here for years and truth be told, I used to get frustrated with the checkin process and overly-persistent up sell process. Since the rebrand to Jackson's, things seem to be vastly improved in terms of service, employees and the overall feeling here. The wash is great, the early bird discount is awesome, the frequent customer freebies are sweet, and the raincheck policy is very generous. Thank you and I'll continue getting my car washed here for some time to come. read more

This is my 1st time using their detailed service. Normally I just run it through their car wash and vacuum service. I spent $250 for an oil change, flush, interior detail, car wash and wax. This rate was a discounted by $10 because I pointed out I have a tiny car. They told me it would take an hr and half. They asked if I was waiting or dropping the car off. I told them I was waiting. THREE hours later I had to tell them to stop. I had an appointment to be at. They said only 15min more min. I could not wait any more. So I took the car. I figured 15min would mean a few things would be left. After getting into my car; 1. the seats were still wet 2. Some dust 3. visible stains 4. Polish spots 5. And pet hair I am extremely disappointed by their work. More so their lack of communication. Don't tell someone it will take an hour and a half if it's going to take much longer. Or at less let the customer know it's taking longer. Here are a few pictures. Make sure you can drop the car of. Don't expect for them to finish on time. Advice to management. You should only take drop off's or let customers know it's going to take longer than 3 hours. read more

I honestly don't know why I bother but every couple of years I want to torture myself so I come to a Jackson's a.k.a. Danny's car wash. My car looks about the same as it did when it went in there still dirt on the floor that they didn't wipe off you can see were my dog slobbered (and which I've cleaned up after my own dog before and it's really not that hard to clean up). My favorite part is how my car entered without gum on it and exited with gum on it and when I asked them to clean it they said no. They told me it's road tar and while I scratched it off in front of him he told me it would need a detail. I remember when this was Danny's and, although the former owner is a felon, the place ran like a good business. Going to Jackson's for the first time for an oil and lube, which took 30 minutes on the busiest days at Danny's, left me standing at the window over the garage for 45. What was worse was that for the entire time there were four cars in the bays that didn't move and the only thing the staff accomplished was to turn headlights on and off on an old Ford Taurus. What I presume was the Supervisor stood over a computer screen and did nothing while four or five mechanics wandered around the cars in the bay doing nothing. Now I know you will say that the work was going on under the car to drain the oil first, but clearly no mechanics were underneath there. I am back to Purcell's for all automotive needs. read more

I will never go here again. Here are just some of the reasons: -The "intake" area is completely disorganized with random employees milling around. There is no rhyme or reason to how they greet you and move you along the process, resulting in having to wait for 5 minutes for the one guy who's "allowed to pump the gas" to come back so you can stop holding up the line of cars behind you. Then more time wasted because I had to speak with 4 different men about the complex services I needed (gas, car wash, oil change) before I even got out of my car and each one relentlessly tried to upsell me on my carwash, my oil change, and getting the cracks on my windshield fixed. I repeatedly said no, but they just wouldn't let up. I HATE having to go through this song and dance...it's a waste of my time and makes me totally uncomfortable having to say "no" over and over. I should've bailed right then and there. -It took FOREEEEVVVVVER. I was there about an hour for those 3 things and there was no one else waiting on an oil change. -Streaks on the windshield and they didn't even wipe off all the wax crayon stuff they wrote. -No paper towels in the bathroom Generally, it's full of employees who are super inefficient and just sort of seem to be screwing around and must get lots of perks for upselling because that's all they seem to care about. I'll not be back. read more

If you're looking for great honest service, this is definitely not your spot. I went in on my lunch against my better judgment which told me to go to my mechanic for an oil change but I was in the area and needed a wash too. I was sold on a higher quality of oil and $10.00 extra for inside wash. The wash was pretty decent and they got me in and out fairly quickly. My biggest complaint would have to be the fact that the guy told me my transmission fluid was really bad and needed a flush and both my air filters were gunky. Being that I just bought my car used with 30,000 miles on it, I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and agreed. It wasn't until reading the reviews that this is common practice and seeing for myself when I was on my way out the door that this is indeed, one of their tricks to get you to spend more money. They take out a little fluid sample box and show you this is what "your fluid" looks like, and this is what it should look like. It wasn't until I was leaving that I decided I had seen enough. A woman who was getting an oil change like myself was called up to the counter where the same "tech" that had talked me into a transmission flush, saw that I was nearby and proceeded to explain in a hushed voice to this unsuspecting woman that her oil was bad. He even used the exact same sample box as he did in scaring me into spending an extra $80.00 on a transmission fluid flush telling her word for word what he told me. Now, maybe I should have done my research beforehand, but I also do not think that it was fair to take advantage of someone in this way. I am glad to purchase service where it is due and even happier to reward a business for doing a great job. That said, I do not believe anything about this place was honest. From the shady double name or alias of "Jackson's" and their salesmen technicians, I can say I will never be returning to this place. I hope that no one else falls victim to this pitiful scam. read more

Called ahead to make sure they had my air filter in stock, and was assured that they did. After leaving my car for an oil change and air filter, I got a call to say that they didn't have the air filter after all. When I pressed them on pulling a bait and switch to get me in the door, I was told that someone else got the last one. It had been 90 minutes since I called to check, and it's an uncommon vehicle. I suggested he go to AutoZone and pick one up at no cost to me to make up for it, and suddenly he decided my current air filter "still l [had] some life in it." Also, before redirecting the call, he said "Hang on, let me transfer you back to the up-sell guy." These people are scum. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!!! Ever since they lost their old staff this place has gone to crap!!! I have had many experiences with this place but today was the final straw that broke the camels back. In the past they have stolen , broken items and many other things. I u see stand that things happen so I just lived with what happened. Today I dropped my car off at about 1140 and told them that I needed To have it ready by 1:30 so I could pick up my children. The employee told me that he would have it done. I double checked with him and even offered to just get a basic wash to make sure it would be done. Fast forward to 130 and my car is not done. I ask them employees about how long it will take and they said at least another hour. I explained my situation and they said the employee should not have made that promise (even though it was written on my ticket). Since they already missed the deadline and I already had to pay to make other arrangements with my children I told them not to sacrifice quality for time. Around 230 I was told my car was finished. When I inspected my car It looked as if it had a very very basic interior wipe down which is a far cry from the complete interior detail ($100) that I was charged for. Here are a basic list of problems: The seats were not steam cleaned The carpets were not steam cleaned The mats were not cleaned The outside of the car was not clean The detail shop manager made excuses for the employees poor performance The car wash manager did not help rectify the situation. The above list could go on forever. There is a positive to the situation, the employees did a great job at vacuuming Please do not waste your money at any of the Jacksons car wash locations!!!!! Don't give your money away! Don't throw. Your hard earned money into the trash read more
