They charged me for this month and refused to refund me even though they won't wash my car!!!! Boycott this company. Ive been going here for almost a year. They never did a spectacular job but the location was convenient. As of today I won't be returning. My complaints include: 1) I bought the monthly unlimited package with wash, vacuum, interior, tires, etc. After a few months of going there, I noticed they didn't do the interior or tires. they inform me that the package I bought no longer includes everything I originally purchased - only vacuum wash and dry, but the price didn't change. Bait and switch! And they didn't even inform me in advance. 2) the car always smells like someone smoked in it after you get it. I think it's the leftover breath of all the smokers that work there 3) the windows always have streaks Now I have to find a new place. Two stars so they don't have Yelp delete it! Yes, businesses can do that. Normally I wash my take-home company truck myself. Today I was driving a loaner and it was pretty dirty so I brought it here for a wash. It's been a year or more since I came to this exact location and had a company truck washed on our Company Account. I had not realized that apparently we no longer have an account here. I approached the counter and let Melissa know we had an account. I had to tell her THREE times the name of the company. I am a contractor and she couldn't get past the name on my ID badge. She then begrudgingly got out the folder and, with a flair of attitude, let me know we no longer have an account here. We originally had an account with Danny's, who was taken over by Jackson's. It was called jacksons when I was here last, and we still had an account Then. Just, not now apparently. My extended family has owned several businesses. Let me assure you THAT kind of customer service would not be kept around for very long! I can take my company card anywhere and pay a lot less than $49.99 for an exterior pressure-washing job! read more

The worse car wash in the valley. They're consistently lazy, the quality of the work is sub-standard and I'm very surprised they're still in business. The attitude of the greeting staff, the cashier(s), to the guys that dry off the car are atrocious. I've been going to that location back when Danny owned, and continued to go after it became Jacksons, I kept on giving them the chance to improve, and giving them the benefit of the doubt, hoping it was just an off day....nah! I sat outside as my car was being dried and finished. I was extremely impressed watching the crew. Everyone hustled when moving from place to place, yet they took their time ensuring every part of the SUV was properly dried and shined. There was none of the talking between crew members that is so typical in many car washes. Everyone was focused on doing their part. And as an added bonus, the back seat, previously a carpet of dog fur, was spotless. Great job - definitely recommended. read more

I've given this place chance after chance. Bad cleaning. Broken windshield wiper. Torn off emblem. And every time kept my cool and been taken care of by Matt. Today used a detail I paid $100 for and was told 2 hours. 3 hours later not done. And Richard matts boss is not at all good at customer service. Asked for compensation on the wax that was added bc of the extra hour wait. And he has no idea how to treat a customer. In fact he walked away from me and hid back in his office because he has no people skills or ability to handle a situation. It's too bad bc this is the last time I will ever spend my money here. And I get my car cleaned every 2 weeks. We shall see if corp does anything to rectify the situation. BTW--problem wasn't w quality of work. I have been going to this car wash location for a long time. I've been impressed with the staff since Jackson's acquired it. This past December I was persuaded to purchase the "membership" that was good for the month and was told I would automatically get a discount on my wash that same day. I thought , "Why not, I'll probably get another car wash in December....". I was never told that it was a recurring membership with automatic monthly charges to my credit card. When I found out that I've been getting charged and wasn't even using the perk, Tanner, the manager, was very kind and sorry that I had been mislead. He gave me a gift card for free washes and/or other purchases. This is GREAT customer service. I would recommend Jackson's car wash and will continue to be a customer. CM read more

I would like to send this warning to whoever is going to Jackson Car Wash located at 1954 E Highland Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85016for a car wash service. My son took my car there for a service on 10/25/2020, at least 5 items were stolen from my glove compartment by the server(s), since I was on vacation, did not find out the facts till 10/29. I called to report the incident to the manager on 10/30/2020, he requested to report in person on 10/31/2020, and I did. The manager promised to give me an answer by 11/03/2020 but no response was received. I called in on Thursday, left a message with a live person(front desk), yet no response again till this moment(11/08/2020). What a store? Server(s) stealing and a lying manager! BTW, to this day, Nov. 13, I have not yet received any response from the management, even after I have posted the thief incident on Yelp, sent a letter to Jackson Car Wash's official office. I don't know what it is, it seems like every single car wash in central Phoenix just watched the opening scene from "Glengarry Glen Ross" or 2/3rds of "Boiler Room" but it seems like the pushy upsell of a full car wash + detail+wax is in season. When you pull up they have the different washes you can choose from- only to hand over your car to someone that tells you you need everything done, with the typical sales pressure. Thankfully they follow the "3 no's" ( once the prospect says 'no' 3 times, drop the offer) rule, and the outside of my car was great- but my passenger seat still had my dog's footprints on it! The outside was done very well, but for $24+ tip I kind of expect the inside to be just as good. So I won't be back. read more

Long story short, make sure you pay attention and clarify the pricing before agreeing to anything. I had to make a correction at the beginning and end of my purchase and if I weren't paying attention or didn't address the errors, I would have spent almost double than what I should have. I went to this car wash in June because it was close to work and my car seriously needed a wash. I was looking for something simple with an exterior towel dry for a reasonable price. I noticed they had an express lane and thought that was perfect. While waiting in line, an employee approached my car and told me that they were running a special: You get a month of unlimited car washes for $7.50 (normally $15.00). I thought it was a great deal so I agreed. I gave the guy my visa, signed the receipt and he put a sticker on the inside of my windshield. I went through the car wash, received the external towel dry and was on my way. I used the car wash a few more times after that and then completely forgot about it and my month long pass. Today, I was scrolling through my online banking account and came across a $15.00 charge to the car wash. I was stunned and thought there must be some mistake. I immediately called and spoke with a manager named Matt. He did not want want to help me at all. He only wanted to point out to me that I signed a contract and that they would not be refunding the $15.00. I asked to see this contract and drive to the car wash. Matt produced the contract (receipt) that I had signed and once again informed me that I would not be getting a refund. I attempted to explain to him that I was erroneously talked into this 'contract' and asked him to make it right. He offered a wash voucher. Seriously, one car wash voucher? I did not take this. Instead, I canceled my 'contract' so that I will not be charged next month and have the remainder of July to use my current pass. Matt, you could have made this right and kept me as a customer. It took them 4 hours to have bird shit still on my door,outside, inside not wiped down oily shit left all over my dash, Streaks everywhere! Wax Was not buffed out as promised! I paid $20 for "The Works" car wash. As I pulled away I saw that nothing had been wiped in the inside. I pulled back around to where you first go to show them. I asked if this was there standard. The guy apologized and said yes, they don't wipe the inside of your car for "The Works". The biggest rip off. It doesn't state this anywhere. A week and a half ago I took my car to Jacksons to get a car wash, and added on the wax to go with my selection. I had been here before and haven't had the best washes, but was in the area and thought I'd give it another try. I got some groceries while they washed the car, and returned to tip the men, and then drove straight home. I noticed my sun visor on the driver side was down, but didn't think much of it... I was driving west to go home so I needed it down anyhow. The next day I had off, got up late, and got in my car to go to a yoga class. I tried to put the visor up but it was broken and hanging there in the line sight of my driving view. I stopped at Jacksons and spoke with Matt the manager to tell him that my visor had been broken the previous day, and that I needed it fixed. He told me they were not liable for such things, said he could not fix it and told me that his guys couldn't have broken it, because they don't touch the visors. I also noticed something that was spilled on the my driver's side door, and he said that sometimes hard stains can't be removed. I put my finger on it and wiped it right off, in front of him! The only thing he offered me was to give me some trades in washes after I get my visor fixed somewhere else! I think what was most frustrating is that he didn't believe me. He told me that there was no way to prove his guys did it. I really felt like he just didn't care and he wanted me to leave. After this incident I came down with the flu and haven't called to speak with them again. My visor is still hanging, and I don't know what to do. After spending $30 on a sub par wash, I have a broken visor I need to get fixed and a level of frustration I can't even explain. Absolutely horrible experience there on Saturday, July 15th. Was told by a rude sales person that you can do the express wash if you want cheaper and you pay for the service at the ATM machine there as you drive up. Couldn't figure out what the code was and asked and the rude guy comes over and says this is how you do it in a condescending nasty tone. Then I discover that you ride in the car as it goes through the wash....and when I get to the curve point there to see what's ahead a car in front of me was stuck on the conveyor and they were using a giant crow bar...under the suspension of this vehicle. I asked one of the guys if he could guide my truck up onto the ramp and he said no. I decided at that point to pull out of line and take my receipt and get a refund. While the slip said all sales final, I explained what happened to the "manager" and he said nope, sorry and walked away. Dismissive nasty rude employees. Will never take my car here again. Weiss Guys when it was there did a much better job and were friendly. 5/12/2018 Spouse decided to take the RAV4 here for the 18.95 wash. I wasn't thrilled after last experience but went ahead as he had better experience. Lousy job vacuuming interior. Dog hair still everywhere even after manager redid it. In fact didn't look like they even did it again. Poor job and after tax and tip for 28 plus dollars we will wash it elsewhere. They also did a poor job wiping the interior dash area was still dusty. I went in at 10 am on Mother's Day for a detail on my car. I was given an estimate of an hour and a half. I sat and waited. After hour 2, I went to check on it as I had a Skype planned at 1 with my son in Japan. I was told they took cars in front of mine, not knowing I was waiting. As 1 o'clock approached and they were not done, I was told it took longer because it was really dirty. I knew that! But they had my phone number and could have informed me it would take longer. I missed my call from my son and received my car with soaking wet seats they they put a torn plastic bag on it to keep my clothes dry. Didn't work. When I went to back out, the steering wheel wasn't locked which was a hazard and when I got home I noticed the wheels hadn't been cleaned. Just spoke to the manager and was informed my$100 didn't cover a wax or detail on the outside! I will never have my car washed here again! read more

First of all, they use raggedy towels that aren't even meant for cars. Many of the employees went straight from the wheel to the paint with the same towel. One of the upsale guys at the beginning decided to lean on my car when ordering a service. We were also waiting in line for a while when a couple employees decided to crack jokes with eachother for a good few minutes. Once we proceeded to the back, the employee with curly dyed hair that was cracking jokes at the front was back there cracking jokes with other employees. Paid for a full inside detail as well as the $200 package for a wax and paint detail and when my car was finally finished over 4 hours later the outside still had dirt marks and it's questionable if it was even waxed, the inside had cleaning residue all over the seats that I had to ask them to remove before leaving, the windows were not completed and the inside of the doors were FILTHY. This is unacceptable for how much they charged for the services. I was not about to leave my car there for another unreasonable amount of time for them to fix the issues. I came home and finished cleaning off the outside dirt marks with a simple wet towel. This is a scam. Take your car to a smaller place that actually pays attention to what services the customer has paid for. EXTREMELY UPSET! read more

I was there on Saturday I've never been to the location on highland but was in the neighborhood. I got the $30 wash choice and normally I love Jackson's but I was very disappointed. Don't trust the one star reviews...those people had blatantly unrealistic expectations. We brought our two cars in for oil changes, tire rotation, an inspection, and detailing. We knew it would take a few hours. They gave us a great deal on the detailing with the other services, Chris was great. They found some other things that needed maintenance (transmission fluid, brakes) which was not unexpected because we hadn't received services in over a year due to traveling. Both cars were entirely finished in 4 hours with all services. The detailing was fantastic, the car looked and smelled fantastic. Price was also excellent, less than $600 total for both cars with all the services we had done. All in all a great experience. This place is BUSY because it is GOOD. The one star reviews clearly expected service way too quickly for a place that is so, so busy. Patience and kindness go a long way!! read more

I get it, Jeep wranglers suck to wash. There are weird angles that the automatic machines don't reach and it's time-consuming. This is why I pay people to clean my work's vehicle. Since the vehicle was dirty, so I got the ultimate car wash ($40) plus floor mat service ($10). For $50, I'd expected the vehicle to be fairly well done. I first noticed the black tire cover on the back was covered with brown dirt, despite having been hand-dried (how do you miss that?!). The floor and cubbies near the gear shift weren't vacuumed, so there are still crumbs; the coffee I spilled on the front floor mat was still covered in coffee (I love throwing $10 away). With the protectant, they missed entire areas of the dash and doors, so its splotchy and uneven. Even better, whoever applied protectant to the driver side applied it to the headrests but the passenger guy didn't. Every external angle had dirt and, when I asked the guy to get the chalk off my window (because I had to ask...) I pointed out the corners and was told the white paint was stained. I wiped my finger through it to show it was just dirty. Seriously? The guy wiped the tire cover with a rag to appease me, but there's still brown dirt. If you want an overpriced half-a$$ job, complete with pushy salesmen, come to Jackson's! read more

Poor customer service! Went early in the morning to avoid long lines and wait time. Two vehicles ahead of me and three in bay getting dried. 47 minutes pass, I see no sign of my SUV, however, five cars have been washed and drove into the bay; cars which were not waiting when I arrived. I walked back to car wash check in and attendant said, yours has to wait because it's an SUV. Are you kidding me?! I talked to Manager and he said sorry, he is new. Total wait time for my car to be washed 1 hour 27 minutes. Update 9/25/16 Decided to give this trash a second chance, my discovery is quite jaw dropping. Once you check in your car, if you tip vacuum guy your car will stay on tack with time written on your window on check in. If you don't, you are our of luck. I talked to manager, and his response was, "my guys gotta get their money some how." I was the third car in line as soon as they opened. STAY AWAY! The service is unbelievably terrible. I took it for an oil change and upgraded to the full service car wash, and first the guy that did the oil change and checked the fluids convinced to change the power steering fluid because it was the wrong one, claiming that my car needed the clear fluid instead of the red, so I agreed to pay the $80 for it...well thank goodness for Google because a quick search into my car's make and model confirmed that my car had the correct fluid to begin with, because it needed the red kind; I was able to run down to tell them to double check because every info I found said he was wrong, so he checked to made sure and confirm he was wrong. Then, when they called my name to tell me my car was done and ready, as soon as I looked inside, my car hadn't been vacuum at all, it was full of crumbs everywhere (mom to a toddler here), so it wasn't that they missed a little something, basically the people in charge of vacuuming didn't even look inside my car at all. The people who do the last wipe down, who wiped down the board totally missed it too, along with several spots on the outside that were still dirty after they supposedly cleaned it. When I pointed out the mess still in my car, they sent me back to the people who vacuum, so I went and asked to talk to the manager, the car wash manager was there and when I showed him the mess, he's demeanor wasn't great customer service, but at least he called the vacuums. They did vacuum the immediately noticeable parts/areas of my car, like the front and the passenger seat...and I should've checked everything to make sure it was done right this time but I wrongly assumed given the initial "mistake" , that they would put special emphasis on making sure it was done right...well, 2hrs later, after not using my car since and absolutely no one seating in the back seat, I happened to look back and it's full of crumbs still!! They didn't even look in the back the second time! I am so livid seriously. I hope everyone saves themselves the trouble and disappointment and just stays away from this place!!!! read more

Just cancelled my $30 per month service with these folks. $30 is their most expensive package and not a bad deal. It provides full service while you wait or you can go through express if you don't have the time to wait. Been doing Full Service occasionally but mostly Express for months. Today the wipe down guy at the exit tells me they aren't allowed to wipe the exterior glass anymore. "Nothing above the door handles." the manager tells me. Seems that they've been doing it wrong and have created "a monster". Those water spots all over your windows and mirrors, those you will have to do yourself when you get home. After they've dried on. Paper towels, Windex. You. Oh, and don't forget to give yourself a tip. Here's a tip. Go elsewhere. read more

20+ years of car washes at this former Danny's location, now Jackson's. I asked Brian up front which package I could purchase to make sure the crumbs and debris were removed from the carpets and seats. He suggested a full detail. I only asked how much for what I was asking for minus the detail. He could not advise me, and asked me to review my choices on the sign. I said "which one will make sure there are no crumbs on the carpet or seats. He suggested full detail again. And his next suggestion was to shampoo the carpets. (They are 100% clean just need vacuuming). The attached photo is how my car was delivered for $18. Ernesto and Eric took it upon themselves to remedy the situation when I explained to them that I was told to detail twice but refused a price on just ensuring the carpets and seats were crumb free. I really want to keep coming and update this to a 5 star, but things have to change. I hear this is a common problem for others also waiting for their cars. Stop the high pressure up sells and just listen to what the customer is asking for and then issue a price based on need. The first time I came here, there was an aggressive upsell by one of the employees who actually jokingly tired to guilt me because I didn't help him meet his quota for sales. On top of that, multiple cars who came in after me left ahead. I gave this place a second try and AGAIN, while in line for the express wash, an employee was extremely pushy about buying multiple washes. A car in front of us was having trouble operating the machine, holding up the line. Instead of assisting and expediting the process, an employee was vaping and the other was upselling. Finally, the gate was opened and we just opted to leave rather than getting a wash. The upselling is uncomfortable and off putting and has turned me off of this business for good. read more

I find myself repeatedly getting services here because the location is convenient, the car wash is very busy (which implies customers are sufficiently satisfied that they return), and the location next to grocery stores and a shopping plaza allow quick errands as I wait for my car. I regret my choice every time! First, the most irritating aspect of my experience is always the aggressively high pressure up-sell on car wash services. After 3 "no-thank-yous", I get pissed and feel hassled. Secondly, the car wash service is always poor to mediocre. My car is never fully vacuumed, there are always water sports on the exterior, the wheels are never fully wiped down, and the trim is never cleaned. This is true regardless of which "version" of the car wash I have purchased, including expensive detail packages. Additionally, the wait time often exceeds the time quoted and seems unnecessarily long. Additionally, this car wash sprays ArmorAll on the tires, but doesn't wipe them down. The result is that the spray spatters onto the body of my car after a couple days, leaving a greasy residue. Finally, on more than one occasion when I have had services in conjunction with my car wash, there has been a problem with my car when returned, like the caps not being replaced on my tire valves or once, my electronic key fob was broken and a piece lost (it was eventually found in the trash after the car wash first wrongly blamed me and I had to go home to get a back up key). I felt motivated enough to post a review after getting my car washed with an oil change and finding it necessary to take my car to my subscription car wash (Quick and Clean) to properly vacuum it out. Wish I could like this place! Edited to add: Oh my gosh! Even on the apology for bad service, you guys are trying to sell me a subscription! The car wash was $27. There were still coffee stains on my passenger door. They didn't bother to vacuum around over or under the car seat. They didn't wipe down the seats. They wrote on my car door in white marker and it is still on there a week later. They never washed/cleaned it off. The exterior wash was basic. The best thing going was an air conditioned space to sit while they took 40 mins to "wash" the car. Got me once. Won't be getting me again. read more
