The place has a chill yet unpretentious Japanese hip-hop vibe (which makes sense if you've been to any others, I recall Ramen-San in Chicago). Music isn't loud at all, so you'll be able to converse with others (or even yourself)! Had the pork belly bao buns, which were a worthy appetizer. Buns were nice and soft, pork full of flavor. I love how they loaded me up with green onions for a little bit of extra flavor and crunch. I quite enjoyed these. I had ordered the "Tokyo Style" ramen which I would identify closer to Tonkatsu, one of my favorites (feel free to correct me if I am wrong here). The broth is INCREDIBLE. I would equate it to almost a fois gras with the amount of roast pork flavor they've put, into the soup. How is there so much beautiful roast pork flavor?? It almost tastes double/triple porked. It is BEAUTIFUL. The pork belly, of course, being super tender and all of the ingredients were cooked to perfection. There was nothing left by the time I had finished. I'm not really a "dessert" guy but they do have a nice beer selection, including Left Hand's Milk Stout Nitro (one of my favorite desserts). They also have plenty of nice-looking tofu and veg options! Highly recommend if you love ramen, even if you aren't crazy about it yet willing to try!

I ordered Pad See Ew, which arrived in a sealed Staples shopping bag and was packaged in a standard black plastic takeout container with a clear lid. Everything seemed normal until I was about 95% finished with my meal. Out of nowhere, I bit down on something sharp. When I spit it out, I was shocked to discover that it was a piece of glass. As a result, my mouth was bleeding in two different places. Finding a chicken bone or a piece of cartilage in a meal is one thing, but finding GLASS is completely unacceptable and presents a serious safety hazard. What was almost as upsetting as the glass itself was the restaurant's response. I immediately called and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining what had happened, the reaction was surprisingly indifferent. I received little more than a casual "Sorry to hear that" and an offer of a refund. There was no apparent concern for my well-being, no effort to investigate how glass ended up in the food, and no sense of urgency regarding the seriousness of the situation. A refund does not erase the fact that I was injured while eating food prepared by this restaurant. Customer safety should be a top priority, and the lack of concern shown after such a dangerous incident was mind-blowing. I cannot recommend a restaurant that serves food containing glass and then responds with such a lack of concern when a customer is injured. Proceed with caution.

From the very first order, I could tell this wasn't your typical takeout restaurant. Every dish arrives tasting like it was made from scratch, with fresh ingredients and an incredible amount of care. You know that feeling when you can tell someone actually takes pride in what they're cooking? That's exactly what you get here. Nothing tastes rushed or mass-produced. Everything tastes like it was prepared by someone who genuinely loves what they do. I've ordered multiple times now, and I honestly haven't had a single disappointing meal. Every dish is packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and consistently fresh. The vegetables still have texture, the proteins are tender and cooked perfectly, and everything arrives hot and well-packaged.
