You'll be charged if you overorder, because it's a shame to waste quality food. The restaurant is family-friendly and BYOB. The à la carte menu also contains some savory items. I have seen some guests opting for à la carte Chinese rather than sushi. Some of my favorite non-sushi items in the AYCE menu are the wonton soup (delicious and garlicky) and steamed siomai. I have shied away from the shrimp tempura, though, as I can taste the oil in the batter, even though I have been assured that the kitchen uses only fresh oil for their fried items.
